Driving sonalika from last 20years… i have seen their factory in person in hoshiarpur punjab, india. These are one of the toughest and best tractor for farms.
Nice presentation. How many rear service ports are on this tractor, and does it come with a third function? I couldn't tell in the picture with FEL attachments, but you did say you can get a grapple on the bucket which I guess is similar to Precision mfg Add a Grapple products?
Both are manufactured by ITL so it comes down to distribution (dealerships vs. retailers) and also standard features. From what I can tell, Summit tractor has a number of standard upgrades over the base Solis H24 such as mirrors, R14 tires, Mechanical self leveling loader, third function hydraulics on loader, high back seat, loaded tires, to name a few. To my knowledge Summit will source its own implements and add-ons like the backhoe. The other difference is the ownership and overall business plans, so they are most definitely not the same operating company. Solis tractors are sold in over 140 countries and have been around for quite some time, Summit is brand new and an up and coming brand in the US... I'd assume once they get the model down here in the US they will expand but have no information to support that assertion. Both are great tractors and I've been very pleased with the performance of the H24 that I am using. Hope that helps!
This was a very helpful video. Thank you. Solis is on the top of my list to consider, followed by Yanmar and Kioti. I'm leaning towards the S24 based on cost savings, and the extra two-ish horsepower. This will be the only tractor on my little 11 acres property, so it's gotta do a lot of work, clearing, plowing, digging hauling, and etc. I'm told that in June, the 24 shuttle XL will be available. Do you have any word on that, and if it will be worthwhile to wait and evaluate that model?
Unfortunately I’ve not driven either the S24 or the Shuttle XL yet sat on both of them at the AG show in Moultrie. I’ve also never owned a non-hydrostatic tractor so couldn’t give you an educated opinion on either. Sounds like the Shuttle is relatively rare in that size hp, at least in the US.
I would advise to look into the shuttle option if you are going to do a fair amount of loader work. Besides our Grand L, we have a little 17hp Kubota that is gear driven. I like driving it, but it is a hassle having to clutch and shift when you are working in tight spots and constantly changing directions.
I like to test/advise/advertise SOLIS tractors here in DFW area. I have to buy a compact tractor 25hp or less at a reasonable price. I understand that Solis is the cheapest/ affordable one.
Thanks for the info. Probably best to share you interest directly with Solis on their facebook page. Thanks for watching and commenting and good luck with your tractor purchase! The Solis H24 has proven to be a solid machine to me so far and yes it has a great value to price equation.
Yanmar Japan owns 30% share of the ITL's Solis brand... some of the tractors previously sold by Yanmar in the US were ITL tractors. The engine in the H26 are in fact Mitsubushi engines. The mid range tractors in the 35-45HP range that they are working to release have Yanmar engines but the price point of the engine needs to come down for them to be competitive in the US. Larger tractors, specfiically the 75HP shipping soon have a proprietary engine made inhouse by ITL
Mitsubishi makes an outstanding engine. I should have looked at the Solis a little before i bought my tractor. They were on the same lot but i really liked the one i got.
@Hardy Brothers Outdoors I bought a TYM 2515H (Branson 2515H). It is a beast for a 25hp tractor. The Solis was on the lot. I was looking for a Mitsubishi powered tractor, and this is the first time I heard about Mitsubishi in a tractor. Had I known, I would have seriously thought about it.
This tractor looks exactly like the new Summit. Probably cause its made in the same plant. 2513 lbs. without loader is impressive. I'm gonna get one. Best deal out there and ready to work.
Yes, very similar, both made by ITL. Primarily a different distribution approach of Summit in retail locations with online ordering and Solis in a traditional dealership model.
@Hardy Brothers Outdoors It's the same tractor, but Summit just has more options on their tractor. Can you get R14 as a Solis option be a use Summit has them standard.
@@jimmcknight3021 yes you are correct I’m walking the party line a bit. Lol. Everything on the Summit tractor can be put on the Solis, except I don’t think Solis currently has a self leveling loader and the high back seat is Summit exclusive. Yes Solis offers all tire options. Here is the brochure on the H24 solistractorusa.com/wp-content/uploads/brochures/tractors/H24-specification.pdf
don't understand what you mean by trackhoe mode... There 1 additional hydraulics on the rear that allow for the hookup of a backhoe, hydraulic top link, offset flail or something else that only requires an in and out... Standard it does not come with a 3rd function for the loader, so a 3rd function kit is needed if you want to add something like a grapple. If you can explain more, will do my best to answer.
Have you tried to run the flail mower yet? Is the pto hp enough to run it? I was informed the pto hp on the hst model is only 15.9 which maybe a problem trying to run that flail mower. I an on the verge of buying one but very concerned the pto hp is not enough. Please if possible very soon check that!
I have run the flail with no problems and cut grass that was 18-24” and also some briars and small trees. It handled it just fine. I was told by Solis engineers that the pto output was 18.9hp. Who told you 15.9?
@@HardyBrothersOutdoors It is stamped on one of the metal tags on the tractor. Check out the tags. 18.9 maybe on their shuttle shift model but not the hydrostatic.
I've asked the Solis engineers to weigh in, but cannot promise they will. What I can assure you is that I ran the flail through some deep stuff and some brushy stuff with no issue whatsoever. Hoping to get a video shot this weekend, so stay tuned!
@@HardyBrothersOutdoors Great, thats all I can ask for. Will be watching and waiting for that video. I have my Solis on hold till I can confirm That it will do what I need. Thanks

Performing great and even better with the easy to adjust height due to my hydraulic toplink. Was missing that capability with my offset ditch flail on my John Deere because all 4 ports were used by the ditch flail mower.
I can’t answer that for sure because I’ve not seen the specs for those HPs but I do know that the 75s is under EPA evaluation and does not require DPF. I’ll see if I can get an answer for you and will post it back here.
@HardyBrothersOutdoors sweet. I wonder why. All the other tractors I've been looking at require different over 25hp. And def above, maybe 75. When do you think the 30 and 40 size will be released in the u.s.

@HardyBrothersOutdoors we have a 2017 new holland t4 100. It has the whole thing with the def system. Twice a year, the tractor goes into limp mode for def relayed problems. We have to change filters each time, and they aren't cheap. Sometimes it fixes the problem, other times it doesn't. I'm sick of all the bs. So going forward I'm trying to look at equipment that doesn't require it if possible.
Here is a video I did showing lift capacity... ua-cam.com/video/3JI118qlhfw/v-deo.html that said, I think the forks I bought are oversized and too heavy taking away from lift capacity on this tractor. Even my JD 2032R is only 2 range as are most hydrostatic compact tractors to my knowledge. Please also check out www.solistractorusa.com for more specs and details. I don't work for Solis, just using the tractors and showing them in action.
The will win tractors on value... more features for a lower price. durability and style are also factors. It will take time for them to build up a reputation for service and support in the US market but they are winning in Europe and are in 150 countries. Solis is not taking the big bang approach that Mahindra took where they ended up on every corner and eventually had grown too quickly... they are expanding slowly and methodically.
Based on what? I've been operating this model for over 18 months and I've had less issues than I had in the first 18 months with my green tractor. If you have had a bad experience please share it so it can help others otherwise your comment is baseless and possibly just JUNK as well...
