    Looks like they redesigned the layout for the new ones. The loader controls are moved back to the fender, more space in the cockpit. I’m actually looking at a new one right now and probably going to purchase if it comes in at the correct price

    Dude, you gotta check out the new 2023 Solis. All kinds of different and upgrades including everything you bitched about. Goin to get one next week. They really do need a dual hydraukic systum like the TYM 2515

    Same tractor. Changed the hydraulic filter and it stopped the dropping of the bucket so quickly. I believe it gets trash from original break in inside the hydraulic valves

    Looks like a nice machine and a great review , I have the RK25 from rural king and i wish it had steps to get on like yours and also the fuel cap is in a way better spot then on the rear right fender of the RK"s . My tractor doesnt have all the levers on the floor but like you said its almost impossible to climb on from the right side . Enjoy your tractor its very nice .

    Tractors are like horses, you should always mount from the left. When using the loader you should use the 4 x 4, it will give you better ability. THANK YOU for this truthful video, great information...

    You can buy a weight to a back three-point hitch, Solis made them for this tractor. Why you still have front weight on if you have front loader? Its 28KG hanged behind the metal bumper by two bolts, you can also use them and try to put them on the back bar.

    Hello sir. I was curious, about the hood not latching. Have you checked the latch, to make sure it hasn’t gotten pushed down, in the locking position. I remember older car door latches, getting pushed down, making the door not latch. Pull the hood latch knob and just flip the latch back open. The hood should start locking in the latch again. Please forgive me, if you have already checked it. Very nice tractor. My neighbor loves his Solis so far. Hope this helps. Take care.

      I don't remember the price off the top of my head but they are the same price everywhere. Maybe $11,000. But so far it's doing a great job. I'm just about to do the 50 hour maintenance and I will be making a video of that as well. But so far the hood latch has had to be fixed and the starter has begun acting up like the solenoid doesn't want to engage. It's still under warrenty I just haven't dealt with it yet. But I am still very pleased with it and it is a great value.

    That water is going to rust out the rims in no time. Water ph less than 7.0 is very acidic and not that mention mixing it with air is not good at all! I give those rim’s about 2 years and you’ll need new rims! I work in water filtration and I don’t care if they are painted or epoxy coated that’s a terrible idea! Even if the ph is above 7 it is not worth buying 2 new rims in a few years. You should take the water out immediately and completely dry them and just use weight on the 3pt hitch

    I've never heard of the Solis tractor and certainly would never buy one. i have a Massey Ferguson GC 2400 and am buying a new Massey Ferguson GC1725MB tractor, loader, backhoe. in my opinion, the only tractors in the sub-compact category that one should consider are the Massey, Kubota, John Deere, Rural King, and Kioti. The TYM and New Holland/LS are "OK" but they seem to have a much more limited dealer network than the first tractors i mentioned. the fact that the Solis tractor you have is a "manual shift" tractor is VERY odd for the sub-compact tractor category ESPECIALLY with the loader attachment. you MUST have either a hydrostat or "shuttle shift" to run a tractor with a loader. i can't even imagine the annoyance of trying to use a front loader on a "manual shift" tractor. with these tractors, you get what you pay for and while i have no doubt all the first tractors i mentioned are much more expensive than your "Solis" tractor, the money saved would NEVER be worth the ease of use, availability of parts, and dealer support that you would get with the tractors i mentioned.

    • @jeffwithhart
      @jeffwithhart  3 роки тому +2

      I have used several older tractors that were built before there was such a thing as automatic or hydrostatic transmissions. I would certainly say I would prefer hydrostatic, but this tractor is actually very easy to operate. To get a comparable tractor with hydrostatic I would have to spend nearly $6,000 more. And as far as dealer network, they are sold and serviced by yanmar. I'd be willing to bet you have a yanmar center near you.

    • @donaldstrishock3923
      @donaldstrishock3923 Рік тому +2

      A little "coordination" & being "wide-awake" is ALL that it takes to "Operate" a gear drive tractor. The Swash-plate plunger Hydro-static drive units are"Way cheeper" to manufacture than a Gear-Drive. Hydro-slack-o-howl-matics are SO EASY to MARKET& SELL; thus being able to be SOLD for more money.* ( this is a well guarded dealer-manufacture secret). Only physically impeded & super high production users "Need" a hydrostatic drive;( as they guzzel fuel like water. Not to be "confused" with "Heavy-duty hydraulic-hydrostatic-torque amplifying transmissions that "HEAVY EQUIPMENT" uses! The convenience of hydrostatic is the MAIN reason "why" compact-tractors are "marketed" to the 35-75 hour per year customer ;Aka.= "hobby-farmer".
