2:21 says the procedure requests (X BLEED AUTO) to "confirm that the crossbleed is closed". Looking at the FCOM, the crossbleed will only close in AUTO if a wing/pylon leak is detected. With a simple ENG BLEED 1+2 FAULT, my understanding is that the crossbleed will remain open. My guess would be that one reason for setting it to AUTO would be so that if a subsequent WING/PYLON LEAK is detected, the crossbleed will automatically shut. It is likely that the X BLEED would have been set to OPEN due to the MEL operational procedure for one bleed inop.
Hi What about for A320 ? It only aplicable on MSN with the FWC H2F8 ? the quick way to know under dispatch in ( 0) if the caucion note appear we apply otherwise we follow e-qrh .. Thats correct ?
