As light-med user, I always find picking the right undertone hard. They are always too yellow or too pink. I always think who tf is this color lol😂

I’m just sad it’s hard to find Rimmel makeup near where I live and I’m in Michigan. My Walmart has the most tiniest makeup end cap (if you wanna call it that) and no other stores near has rimmel and even Amazon doesn’t carry much from them. I just wish that they were more accessible.

I was going to follow you as a shade match until you mentioned the shades of different foundations you wear and I then realized that I’m one shade darker than you. I also have a hard time matching up with drugstore foundations so I gave in and got the Estée Lauder double wear foundation (maple sugar $50). My undertone is neutral/golden, what’s yours? I will look into this Rimmel if they have a shade a little darker than yours. BTW, It looks great on you! Congrats and thanks for looking out for us women of color. 🎉

This is my absolute favourite foundation that I’ve rebought over and over since high school. It was perfect for my full coverage preference back then, and still great for my less fussy routine now. I didn’t buy it for a few years while I tried out more expensive foundations, but realized the higher end stuff was not any better for me. This stuff stays on my oily skin and doesn’t budge even if I sweat a lot or get rained on (lol). Was there a reformulation at all, or is the niacinimide in it just being marketed more right now?
Omg that’s amazing!!!! I’m not sure exactly how it’s changed in comparison but I know the focus was on making it more longwear and adding more of that skincare element so I’d love to hear to it thoughts on it !!

Congratulations Samantha. So happy for you. I can't use their foundation. Most drugstore brand foundations are not good for sensitive skin. They put too much fragrance and other harsh chemicals in it

I've had the same problem for decades and I'm about your color. There will always be 700 beige shades but even my actually light tan skin tone is hard to find a shade, I have a pink whitish undertone but I have tan skin. So it's really hard to find one shade that fits 3 or 4 tones in one. I usually have to mix and match two foundations, two foundation powders and two concealers.
