@pennyf9 Yes they made them back in the 1990s and they're great looking locos - however they don't run very well and are best avoided. Bachmann have just released a new version with a better motor/gearbox and this should be a huge improvement over the old version.
@pennyf9 The motors are not very smooth and are also geared fairly high giving poor slow speed running. The drive gears also have a tendency to split on the axle. The front and rear pony truck wheels are also problematic, you probably can't notice it in the video but the rear wheel under the cab is not actually turning! Shortly after I made this video I sold the loco on ebay for $70. The new version currently costs $250 but I'm sure the price will drop in the future.
