This is easy, thanks to your video, just take one step at a time. My Mom made lemon meringue pie a lot, I used to in the 70s and 80s, people don’t seem to have the taste buds for it anymore...at least I found it to be the case.

I like whipped cream topping much more than meringue. I use a hand held electric mixer or my blender for whipped cream because of my arthritis. I got an immersion blender this year that's very quick and easy to clean. Thanks for being you and sharing each Thursday!

If you freeze your butter, you can actually grate it into fine pieces using a kitchen grater. It works wonderfully for recipes like this.

That looked like a whole lot more than half a cup of butter, looked more like two cups of butter
Not sure what to say to that, other than it was 1/2 cup (113 grams) of butter.
