Stunning is the right word. The guy weeping is Matoma, a globally renowned DJ, at his side is Ina Wroldsen, Norwegian singer, then Yosef Wilde-Mariam, of Madcon Beggin fame, then Espen Lind of When Susannah Cries fame from 1997. The artist is phenomenal. Try his cover of Randi Newmans Feels Like Home. Just beauruful
Not gonna kid anyone here. I saw this performance live on TV and I shed tears like I was cutting onions the day after my father died. This song that is younger than me - we know the bombastic way Bruce performs it "Born in the USA" style (and yes I know a lot of Irony and historic pain was involved in that album) - to hear that original being sung like - almost how it was designed to be performed, totally got to me.
It is like he took the song and downplayed it to the 1970s "The River" times of the late 70s.
