I'm so used to only hearing Bruce's songs only by Bruce, this was absolutely enchanting and gave me more appreciation of the song as music, not just simply because Bruce did it...I say all that not to disparage Bruce. This was just beautiful.
It makes me sad that he never made a studio version of the song. I really like it and I would like to have it in my AirPods every single day.
What is an immediate "sell" on this version of the song is the "Hey there, baby." Its so different from how Springsteen sings it, and so different from every other cover version of the song. That line is so distinctly HIM that is sells us, as a listener, to everything, that he does.
I would also suggest Isak Ovrevold alway from the voice Norway, his blind audition was remarkable
