An adapter...its funny you talkn about wiring done right....i mean with all the cutting you do..when you could just unplug the connector....

Salvage title, do you apply for a rebuilt title in Ga? Here in Alabama you can't get a usable rebuilt title from a Salvage title unless you are a licensed re-builder. With that there is an inspection, etc. If it came with a Rebuilt title already would help.
Nice job man. I mean you’re not custom fabbing one off Jesse James style stuff, but you seem to be really great at what you do and you seem to keep it in the range a normal human can afford. Hats off to y’all brother. And you’re also teaching through example. I wish you success. The tide raises all boats.

Could have been a theft recovery. Some states/insurance companies will issue a salvage title for those

Almost all parts still out of stock I wonder why you're not doing what you normally do with this bike oh yeah it's cuz you bought all the parts and didn't leave any for anybody else.

Why was this bike a total loss? Was the value just so low that the fairing and other misc. parts did it in? Was there frame damage? All in all, at least through video, it looked like a decent bike.

No frame damage. Only damage is what you see. That’s about all it takes.
Especially on a 02
It doesn't take a ton of damage to total a Harley. I used to do estimates for the shop I worked at. A tiny scratch on a fender means replacement.

Why not keep the seat that's way more comfortable than any aftermarket. Riding is about comfort more than style. No one is going to be staring at your seat when your butt is planted on it.
The older seat might be more comfortable but the new seat will sell the bike quicker. Can you please throw in the pillow top seat lol.....awesome job.
