It’s very easy. The website is www.hksuspension.nl (but in Dutch). Just send an e-mail to info@hksuspension.nl and make sure you mention ‘Chiefpep’ in your subjectline or mention you saw this ‘Chiefpep video’. Off course you can also ask for a price estimate for rebuilding your front or rear suspension by Dion or any specialist at HK. Also feel free to ask any questions via e-mail to Edgar regarding the parts used in this video.
    These are the brand new 'low friction' Wilbers springs which will be shown in part 2: Link here: • Installing Wilbers sus... including the package which I use in my bike and can be ordered.

    Very informative! Have to admit that I have not changed fork oil as frequently as the engine oil, but it makes sense! Great video! 👍👍

    Hi I’m looking into a kit for my ST here in Australia, the kits the supply don’t come with the the progressive springs that’s a extra. I like your review on the system. I was told from a another suspension specialist Showa don’t make parts anymore for the rear shock. If I going to spend money I’m going to get Wilbers cheers

    Thank God smell TV doesn't exist ...
    HK Suspension in Tiel, Gelderland, The Netherlands.
    I am glad they worked on my ST1100 ..My bike really needed it.
    Love my Wilbers rear suspension and my fresh front spring coils + oil.
    What a difference I noticed .. Day and night change ...
    Thanks again Dion! ;-)
    See you guys in March next year (after 2 years of driving around with fresh front fork oil).
    PS.
    One question out of curiosity .. Do you or do you not leave your brake claws hanging unsupported? (Weight)
    Last question: Do they also offer re-chroming service of the inner suspension pipes if nessecary or pipes are unavailable to order from manufacturer?!

    • @chiefpepdesign
      @chiefpepdesign  2 роки тому

      Yes I leave them unsupported. I will ask for the chroming. But, I understood that the polishing what they do is enough for most of the suspension pipes. If you really have damaged inner pipes, I would suggest buying a second hand one from one of the junkyards, second hand suppliers or just Ebay and bring that in when you go back for new oil. A swap is done in no time.

    Brilliant ! Great to see specialists at work ..... watching these videos is really making me think how tired the suspension must be on some of my older bikes .... 😯

    After seeing the series about the ST1300 suspension, I ordered a set of progressive springs from wilbers. Went for the bike today after installation and... OMG!!!! It's another bike!!! The front is a lot more precise. The bike feels 100% more "on rails". Love it!!! Thank's for the videos!!!!

      Hi Allan, I’m based in UK too. Is there any Wilbers specialists in LDN? And what springs they’re using in this video? I have ST1300. Thank you

    Great video & nice people!
    I was looking for a link to the company website and didn't find it in your comments. Also could you put a link to the specific Wilbur springs used in the video for the ST1300? I would like to order them for my 2005 ST and it would helpful to get the right ones.
    Waiting for the part 2...
    Thank you!

      This is the website. hksuspension.nl/ but it's in Dutch. Best is just to send an e-mail and ask for them in reference to this video. Then you are 100% sure you get the right ones. Edgar will personally select and send them to you! The low friction springs Edgar shows just came out. They are the newest of the newest. Next part will show the package in more detail.

    Great informative video..I'm just rebuilding my forks and found slight pitting on the one leg.
    I see that wilbers put your stanchion in a lath and skimmed off the surface with an Emery cloth.
    I am wondering what grade Emery paper used?

    • @chiefpepdesign
      @chiefpepdesign  2 роки тому

      I think they started with scotchbrite and finished with very fine 1500

      @@chiefpepdesign Great ! ...by the way; do you have steer risers installed ?

    • @chiefpepdesign
      @chiefpepdesign  2 роки тому

      No I don't. There is a reason why the handlebars are at that point. That makes the balance of the bike and how it steers. If you mess with risers, the balance will be different (in a negative way). Offcourse if you ride your bike mainly straight away, it could be more confortable. I am a more sporty rider and therefore cornering is more important for me.
