Thank you very much! I can not tell you how many years and hours that I have put into learning how to locate and catch this fish. I just returned from another trip. The next movie I post will be mostly shed hunting and grouse hunting. Just a little fishin

@@MichealGrabosch you figured it out for sure. What time of year do you get your biggest and is it back in the untouched lakes mainly? Some of those walleye were really impressive and you normally expect to see those in bigger water. I have been traveling to Quetico more lately but your videos have shown me there is plenty of adventure in the BWCA to discover!

Incredible. I think you caught more monsters in your one trip than I have in my 10+ 😂

Great fish, I only have one suggestion please don’t get angry with me for it, but I think you should wear a PFD especially soloing.

@@michaelmcsweeney9742 I totally understand. I wear mine when crossing the middle of lakes or in bad weather. I know it'd be wise to wear it all the time. I may get to doing that as I age a bit more. I'm turning 40 in a couple months

Some nice fish & beautiful lake! What canoe model are you fishing out of ?

@@jacklowe3788 thank you. It is a wenonah aurora. I have never seen anyone else paddle one. It is a tandem canoe that I converted into a solo. I switch it back to tandem when I take a friend.

It looks like several of the mornings were quite foggy. Or was that due to a fire? How do you keep your canoe next to you when you are on rocks? I do not see any lines. Looking forward to seeing your next video. And I really enjoy listening to your tips, tricks and safety information.

@@terrygrabosch4882 no fires. Just fog this trip. Had a lot of hail I'll post in my next video. I usually do have a green paranoid wrapped around my feet. Because YES, if that canoe had ever gotten away from me, with where I was, that could be the end. I would have to swim to shore fighting hypothermia and follow the bank till I find my canoe through thick cover. Then paddle back to camp.
