@@lazzar0neYoure gonna have the same problem with those, man. JHS angry charlie combined with an EQ is a better choice maybe. You could also go for a pdf1 like josh used to use live, but hes since moved on from it I think
@@lazzar0neCame for this. check out the Funny Little Boxes Skeleton Key. Nails Josh’s OD, it’s designed for it. And it’s $99. Put it with a Q-Zone and you’re there. It moved my PDF2 off the board.
Thanks for including the Strat. I always like to hear a single coil guitar as well as a humbucker guitar. And man, it sounds great with the single coils!
I heard a moment 5:02 of obnoxious midrange that made me think that this thing could possibly get an HM-2 esque sound when stacked (maybe with a rat…maybe something else) Details aside, seems crazy versatile. Like a RAT only in the sense that it can do od all the way to fuzzy things but with a completely different texture. It’s super hairy. Which is playing SUPER nice with the strat. Damn! And it sounds plain ol stankface with the downtuned guitar 🤘🏼
They did sort of start with an Ibanez Smash Box. The one with the tone lock knobs. I love that whole series of pedals. They did add a lot of stuff though. That SM-7 really does one thing best... (can do other sounds of course, but it's high gain is just amazing), but this one seems like it has a lot more possibilities. I'll have to try it.
A Baxandall EQ is a special type of shelving equalizer based on a circuit developed by English electrical and audio engineer Peter J. Baxandall in 1950. In fact, it’s often called a tone control, and if you’re old enough to remember the “bass” and “treble” tone knobs on older hi-fi stereo systems, there’s a good chance they were Bax filters under the hood.
Caaaan you take me higher?
To a place where blind men see 👀
rock and roll
Who else came here to see if this pedals QOTSAing and Kyussing?
Did I Qotsa in this one? Can't even remember, been a while since I filmed it.
@@LivingroomGearDemos but can we or can we not? Gardenia sounded to overdriven... tell me cause im currently looking to pdf2 and sft

I JUST REALISED HOW MUCH THIS PEDAL SOUNDS LIKE KYUSS
The creed flying guy gets me every time

Love seeing the Fano back
The way you gradually dialled the tone in for Millionaire was fantastic
Various hairs standing up time.
🤝
Darn it, this sounds really good! You made it with your choice of riffs, of course.
Yeah, it's pretty decent! Hope you're well, buddy!
have you ever tried an MXR III Distortion Pedal? Highly recommend as a tube screamer replacement
The sounds of 90s
wow 😮sounds like already mixed guitars
Is that a good thing?

I think I like the sound, but is the pedal always this noisy? This hum or hissing is unbearable and as loud as the actual playing. :-(
The real deal about this pedal is the mids parametric EQ... something so basic, but so powerful at the same time.
I wish everyone could have seen the mile wide grin that came to me when the Creed riff took shape. 10/10 best moment of the week so far.
That transition from Everlong to Slither was life changing
Genuine Ying Yang interaction that I didn’t even know existed
0:40 Sounded so good I had to yell the Yeahs!
When you said baxandall eq whatever that is. I was thinking if anyone is extremely familiar with that…you’d be the the guy on this pedal review. 😆
It's the eq type used in orange amps I'm pretty sure
Allen Patricia Lewis Maria Brown Mary
Nice guitar what model is that?
this sounds great! :D
Terrific demonstration!!!!🥰
I feel too seen. If you had played Hell is For Hero’s “You Drove Me To It” that would have been my whole repertoire circa 2012.

Sounds like the OCD pedal to my ears, kind of like a mix between an Overdrive, Distortion and fuzz pedal together.
So many great tones in that box. In my mind picking songs each tone would be perfect for.
Now they need one called soft drive
That’s the morning glory

“Soft Where?” 😊

Thanks for the in-depth review with different guitars
anyone got a spare 160 quid i could... "borrow"
Went to reverb right after everlong, aha it’ll be here in 5-7..
I started the video and was like "this tone is great", not knowing the pedal wasn't on lol This pedal is not my thing, but that's okay. lol
Can that pedal get into metal territory with a boost. ❤
Just grabbed mine, thanks for an always amazing demo 🤘🏻
This thing is super versatile, holy sh!t
You are a mess for that first one!!! love it !
you made me want it
Wow. It's so good
You remind of Henrik Dorsin
What’s that very first song?
Creed - Higher
So close.
Awesome!
Juri Chechi?
Dæven denne var fet!!
Jeg har hørt på Higher 5 ganger i dag, OG er på utkikk etter en dist pedal!
ja, da tror jeg du må ha denne, gitt!
It just sounds harsh and solid state to me... You may be able to create a lot of different guitar tones, but NONE of them are good 🙀...
I want one.
