If they do a Season 3, I think it'd be cool if they went back and forth between College and High School. You could have half of an episode dedicated to College and the other half dedicated to High School (or vice versa, either works). Maybe flesh out the communication between Yui and Azusa some more. I do headcanon that the seniors were there for the Student Festival performance at the end of High School as well. An anime adaptation like this might make that more of a reality. Great series of videos btw. It was very informative and well-done. It felt like a history lesson in a good way and I learned a lot. Also you made me cry twice haha.
Thank you so much for watching! The K-On videos are some of my favourites, even though parts 2 and 3 were tough recording sessions for me. Still hoping for the day KyoAni announces season 3...
26:51 The K-on HK dub can be considered a relic of the Animax era as it's one of the last few dubbed titles the channel reaired long after they commissioned dubs. I was shocked to hear it on TV around 2016-2017, and it could've been replayed even later (someone else please verify!)
So the licensing companies still have these dubs... They're just a pain to actually license for physical releases and it's really too bad since they are part of history. So many Animax dubs are at risk of being lost to time, if they are not already lost to time. If companies are willing to reair them I wish they were willing to do physical releases of them...
I’m a year late but I wanted to address the joke at 7:51. I think the joke being “Yui imitating an old lady” (while giving her an accent) bc a common trope in media is having old people ask for directions so now the joke’s not dialect based but instead Yui relying on the trope of elderly people needing help getting to places to trick girls into going the to club room
My best guess for why the changed the song in episode 1, and in JP Tracks of later releases is, most likely, a licensing issue with that specific song.
Regarding with the Bandai Entertainment closure in 2012, that also lead to the releases of both Nichijou & Gosick to be cancelled, luckily Funimation (now Crunchyroll) would pick up both of those titles later in the 2010s
I read years ago that Bandai had actually dubbed some of what they had of Nichijou before they went under, so there's a lost dub out there. Of course no clue if it's true, but solid confirmation would be cool.

Interesting that it reaired that late! Do you know if any other dubs reaired in that timeframe?
@@HalKozy Inuyasha Animax dub was on during the pandemic - can't remember if 2020 or 2021.

@@fildub As a Singaporean, I actually watched the dub during the pandemic

Fair enough, also thank you for watching because this video flopped lol

Nichijou would be interesting to do a video on, the story of Nichijou's anime is pretty crazy in terms of licensing

Let's go
English dub history for lupin the third
Request noted! :)
Well, idk if you considered something this title, and reading other comments, maybe the series can be called "English Localization History"
It's on the table
Time for the dubs of Sailor moon and ask cartoon cipher to do a video of why people love the dic dub so much despite that Viz is the superior dub.
Hey don’t if you’re are going to try doing an English dub history of Kyattō Ninden Teyandē aka (Samurai pizza cat)
Request noted 🍕🐱
At least the way Mugi said gracias would indict she might be from Latin America
