- We attended the Los Angeles premiere for "The Idea of You" coming to Amazon Prime on 5/2/2024 and were also treated to a Q&A with cast and creators! Participating in the Q&A were actors Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue), Dakota Adan, Viktor White, Raymond Cham Jr., and Jaiden Anthony, producer Cathy Schulman, and songwriter Savan Kotecha.

What an absolutely fascinating Q&A. Such fascinating detail about building a band from scratch, nailing the characterisation and the genesis of the music. Charm, perception and a serious sprinkle of magic. And an indescribable link between Kotecha and Galitzine in bringing that music to life.

Now I'm more upset about not giving time to the band. But it made me curious about it and now I have a new idol. VIK WHITE !!. Gosh, what a talented dancer !!! Maybe the studio didn't want to shadow Nick ? Pity. This guy deserves more attention than just TikTok bits.

I'll risk it, but I'll say it. I did not like this movie. It was a huge disappointment. The thing was supposed to be a vindication of a possible love relatyionship between a boy of 20 (in the novel) and a woman 0f 40. The film is nothing at all like that. Just lots of schmalz. They look almost the same age
