My question what the heck were you throwing when you had the eagle claw Write and Mcgill like a few models from that series. The crankbait 10 ft 3/4 to 2oz. I throw up to 10 oz on and the big swimbait rod and that series but 2 to 8 ozs I throw up to a pound on that rod. Don't get me wrong I like that I was being lied to it worked out so much better and I love the series of rod. But what the heck were you throwing in tournament. I hate the split grip so I racked my rib cage so hard on a hook set on the 10 footer throwing a modified AC plug original 12-in fatty. My ribs hurt for the next 4 days. Split grips and big baits have no business together.
