You don’t need to be an expert if you’re just doing it for boxing. My only tricks are criss crosses and I’ve just managed to pull off 10 double unders in a row today.

Ive been jumping rope for about 1.5 years now. favourite cardio hands down. Ive always been jumping with a basic rope from my gym, but they would typically break. I saw someone using your rope today, and when asked where he got it he referred me to you. He let me use his rope for a good 3 minute round and i knew I had to get this rope! First thing I did when I got home was place my order! Cant wait for my new rope, and I hope to get as good as you man. I will definitely rope to success!

Mr. Lee, my wife bought me your book tonite. I'm in my mid 40's, and have been working out with weights & various cardio machines for a good two months. Earlier, today, I had expressed the need 2 pull my jump rope & take it to the gym, and slowly build up. Had we not discussed rope jumping, she probably would't have noticed your book. Anyway, when she brought it to me, I immediately did a you-tube search and I'm happy to see this & your other videos. Thanks for the book & inspiration.
Elvis was my coach for over 10 years (from age 7-17) now I am 34.....we just had a reunion in Brampton....it was amazing. I love this video b/c I see his style in all that you do. You are fantastic, Elvis and jumping rope made me who I am today.

Hey i think you have extreme speed skills and you should really consider going to jump rope competition because they have speed tournaments, freestyle and a lot of other things, this is definitely jump rope, but enter the sport, with the competitions and things like that, you'd become famous instantly. Its just something i think you should consider

Hello Buddy Lee, I am a big fan of your speed and your style of jump rope. I saw one of your videos a few years ago, and it was one of a few videos that inspired me to jump. I now jump competitively (if you have time I have a video on my channel). So thanks. I just wanted to ask what footwear you personally use for jump rope? I currently use running shoes, but they are not ideal obviously (I had another pair, that were great but my foot kept rolling over in them causing me to sprain my ankle).ty
So can you correct me if I'm wrong but I thought jump rope only increases your footwork and overall coordination. How can it increase your speed?

How can I learn those transitions from front to back jumping and the reverse?I didn't find any tutorials for them on youtube.
Cardio is time dependent, not movement dependent, e.g. jump rope is cardio; push ups are strength.

@@buddyleejumpropes it's about time for a return, sir! Jump rope seems to be taking off especially because of quarantine. Even though I have a decent collection (including two Aerospeeds for me and my son) everytime I check Walmart all their ropes are sold out. Strike while the iron's hot!

@@buddyleejumpropes I live in DMV on a military installation. I can tell the head of the MWR about you and maybe you two can set something up? Things aren't as active due to the rona, though. For instance, we went from 24 hour gym access to 0500 - 1800 on weekdays but only for military personnel to use.
