The spoiler that happens where we talk about the website happened due to the format of the website being changed. Nozdormu is an instapick for me in demon lobbies (unless I'm offered a very good hero like voljin). Because with the buddy and the demon which makes refreshes cost health instead of gold, you can easily make the shop 30/30, and just eat the shop with 1/1 imp and the 4 cost spell which eats the shop. It's really consistent strategy for me, I'm 8k mmr.
Shoutout to Varden, extremely hard to get the curve right, but it you can manipulate the shop properly you can get absurdly good triples and you can stack the buffs from your buddy for multiple turns. Once you get used to Varden she is easily consistent
I've been playing BG since day one and whenever I see AFK I pick her, she's my most picked hero. She's quite bad but sometimes she just wins you the game on turn 3. She's best in buddy meta because if you wiff you hero power instead of insta loosing the game, you have the buddy to buff your garbage 3 drops for quite a lot of early power. The one mistake I see people do with her is they treat the buddy as a late game win condition. That's what's dragging her win rate down. Don't go out of your way to buy 3 drops, don't reroll for deflectobots, you get 2 3 drops by default, maybe you'll buy one or two naturally, use those early stats to rank up, get an early 6 drop from the buddy then sell the buddy.
Rakanishu has grown in my eyes a lot since the hero power rework. Definitely made the hero better and the buddy has great synergies with lots of cards.
Good tier list, but everyone has their favourite hero they like. Some need a special build. I had an insane nozdormu demon game, just refresh 14 times, and eat up the board. Tickatus i think goes up a tier, just cause Argent Braggart is a fun card. But can be a disaster with wrong enemies.

I have not been offered Tavish in a Dragon lobby once, since buddies came back. And I play a lot, like a lot lot. Is he banned in Dragon lobbies? Because I can totally see him being decent with Tarecs / Poet setups, had good success with him last time buddies were in.
Thank you! They were bound to happen. While doing the video the folders identifying heroes/buddies was relocated for the website, and Adobe went and found similar founding files all over my computer. I am amazed that is all I missed it took forever to fix.
There was a whole debacle with the image database, and after the fix I got all but a couple correct. Pfft that is my accent coming through. My accent sneaks through a lot in the form of names/words sounding odd.
Yeah but pretty meh overall and you can't base an overall rating on a specific lobby combo that's not going to be in your game half the time. Which makes an overall B tier pretty on point. But it also shines a light on why just looking at a tier list without the explanation and nuances is also very flawed.
Even in beast undead lobbies it is inconsistent. I think the high roll potential deserves the love it gets, but its performance over all is questionable.
@@Heretic721 That's what I've found too, honestly. I love to go for it when I see the hero select screen, but even in duos with my coop partner helping, it comes online just barely in time most of the time. In solo, it's a huge gamble.

On a logical stand point, I can't wrap my head around a dragon tribe hero (which is fare from the best tribe), being one of the best. Like yeah, she gives you a build every game and that might be enough. But the build she gives you isn't thaaat good. Anyways it's more of a personal issue lol.

Man Heretic! I saw your Tuesday stream yesterday. You played Slyvanas with beasts and undead in lobby and seemed to hate it even tho me and chat were hype. My biggest minion is a 54K/94K Macaw due to that comp. Shocked you didn’t seem to enjoy the roll you gave the lobby lol. Im gunna try and tune in for the livestream tomorrow evening!

I enjoy magnetic comps, not as consistent but it's super fun since you end up with a lot of gold for rerolls
Was this in buddy season? Because demons were and are garbage. (Unless you maybe have a very specific kind of lobby?)
