I love how he had to make sure his voice sounded like his first unlike some movies where they do it perfectly the first time
Certainly refreshing to say the least.
Like Juni from Spy Kids. He can mimick people on the fly
@@jietroraximoff2805 thats because juni is a highly classified special agent, he's just that damn good 😎
@@jietroraximoff2805 THAT JUST MAKES HIM EVEN BETTER THEN 😭
REGREG lol he knew Carmen though, meanwhile jack just met this guy, he has not heard his voice for 5+ years
External Dylan: I'm going to kill this kid!
Internal Dylan: I'm impressed. Welcome to The Eye, kid.
BestLaidPlans i think when he startef zo throw cards at him he actually wanted to kill this kid xD
SOOO TRUE!!!
BestLaidPlans lmao that’s what I was thinking the entire second watcg
Alen S looked like he was going to hulk out
No. LMAO he seriously did wanted to kill him while fighting. He doesn't care. If he dies then he failed and no welcoming to eye. He was serious. He didnt backed out.
i love how in this scene jack kept hitting the dude who's hands were in the sink for no reason
That scream when he hit him in the face with the last card had me rolling lmao
It's always better to be sure
That pistol to the balls made _my_ nards hurt...
Lol 😁
It wasn't for no reason, it was to distract him so he couldn't break free.
When he stuck the dude's sleeves in the sink disposal I got so anxious.
How exactly did that work? I hardly understood it.
He grabbed a metal utensil off the window sill and wrapped the jacket sleeves around it see he could shove them into the disposal then hit the on switch.
Ok, so far so good :-)
But what exactly did the switch do? Wasn't it a mere light switch?
No it was for the garbage disposal, if you're like me and not American you wont really see them, I don't get why they exist.
But anyway, garbage disposal basically shreds anything that goes in it, usually food waist and can crunch and tear through a persons hand.
Ah, I see.
Now I'm only surprised that they connect the sink to the garbage disposal switch. Because, as the clip shows, that can get quite dangerous if the shredder is installed at such a place.
The voice part is the craziest
True
not crazy but friction
I thought the part when he threw fire balls was crazy
Friction?
martin humphrey vocal cord friction and vibration
Dave Franco’s character came out of this scene looking like by far the most talented of the bunch. Voice changing, card throwing, outstanding fighter, stunt driver...I found myself asking “okay so is there anything he can’t do?”
Don’t forget the fact he could basically hypnotize people
I mean he literally is the "Jack of all Trades"
He can be the Gambit on X-Men movies...
@@lickityspit7120 so true, he is easily the most capable horseman

i love this scene , he pick cards instead of pipe
So logical
For a magician... yes it is.
You can only throw the pipe once. The point was to aggravate and distract, not actually injure him or knock him out.
someones been playing Payday 2
it’s not a pipe it’s a fire iron
I love the voice part, not only was is funny, but, it was also a perfect way that Dylan helped Jack without being to obvious. When Dylan saw Jack pick up his walk talkie, he knew that he needed his voice to throw off the others to help escape (you could see the hint of a smile in the corner of Dylan mouth), so he gave it to him. If Dylan told them to leave himself, the guy at the sink would have known and found out that he was helping him. This whole scene was Dylan's way of really seeing what Jack was capable of, as well as, helping him to not get caught. It was great!
i think they made the first movie before writing the second, i doubt they had all that in mind in this clip
Still, nicely spotted
@@markus3533
They reveal he was with the Eye in this movie so they would had that in mind
@@professionalmemeenthusiast2117 But I'm not entirely sure that Dylan would know that Jack would be able to copy his voice like that
@@Opsity you can only lead a horse to water...
@@Opsity This whole movie was The Hulk's master plan. I'm pretty sure he knew that Jack was capable of impersonating other people. The Hulk chose him, right? This movie is how The Hulk constructed this convoluted plan to get Andy Dufresne's best friend thrown back in jail with some magic tricks in between. And yet, I thoroughly enjoyed it. ***/5*s
I loved when he grabbed the cards and Dylan was like "Really?"
LegoBoyFilms wesley
Yup
He’s like “your that desperate?”
Honestly, it makes sense if he wants to buy time. Trying to mix it up hand-to-hand with a federal agent is what they call a "low percentage move", but the instinct to flinch away from a fast moving object headed for the eyes is pretty strong.
And after he finishes throwing them all, he goes all Hulk, only without turning green.
Never pick a fight with a magician. They're like ninjas.
Alex Phillips not in his house either
Alex Phillips I wish
Since when...
Alex Phillips Clearly
Alex Phillips no this is a movie
say what you want about this movie but this fight scene and the high speed chase scene were just brilliant
AVeryHappyTeddyBear there aren't any cuts. Be honest, no matter if you think it's bad, it's at least ok
+AVeryHappyTeddyBear If you really think that is true, did you like the elevator fight scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier? It had upwards of 50, maybe even 60 cuts in even less time than this scene.
AVeryHappyTeddyBear There just had to be the one guy who ruins everything
itszaaaamzeh people said this movie was great lol

I love the voice copy thing. If only it was that easy in real life.
it is
how?
Stephen Lee ?ค
This is a trade skill for actors/actresses, so yeah, easy, for them at least.
Stephen Lee When I saw that my mind literally jumped to Spy Kids. When Juni mimics Carmen 😁😁
0:35 I really love little details like this. At this part of the scene he's actually helping Jack by talking with him. He's giving a chance to him to make his trick. I realized this after watching the whole movie, this scene was important.
o
There are details like this all over the movie once you know Dylan is ont he horsemen sides. Like on the chase he is “accidentally” giving false directions.
1:37 I love how he just hit the dude for no reason. He literally couldn't do anything but he hit him anyway. Jack is my favorite
The fact that Rhodes is actually on Wilder’s side this whole time makes this scene even more impressive
It's scenes like this that makes re-watching the film so good - you realise that certain actions by the character that initially didn't make complete sense actually play to the larger endgame - a literal magic trick designed to misdirect, but out of place just enough so that when looking back shows the genius of the film and the characters within it.
The voice mimic is so good because 1) during the first line “you little” still sounds like Jack’s voice. Then Dylan gives him another line so he can make sure he really has it down. It’s hard to see but after jack mimics “what game you playin?” Perfectly Dylan actually smiles. It could be interpreted as a grimace if you didn’t know what to look for, but he’s actually smiling at Jack’s quick learning curve before he masks it again. Fantastic.

0:37 that changing voice is good
Funny thing is, Dylan probably could've beaten Jack easily.
duuude i really want to like your comment but it’s at 69 likes so i canttt 🤣🤣
I don't know, I feel like Jack could have done the same thing in China if he was in Dylan's position. They both like fighting people through magic is totally their thing and they mastered it.
@@HulkVahkiin ya
I think Dylan could have beaten Jack easily only because, as the mastermind behind this entire plot, he instructed Jack ahead of time what moves to make. So in essence, this was literally a pre-choreographed fight, just that Jack didn’t realize it.
Also the fact that Dylan is a trained FBI, He can handle himself definitely.
The voice copying though.
Bea Latorre i found that strangely hot
Lol i was the 420 like
I was shook
I love that but they only showed that once in two whole movies.
Is it me or does his hand look to big to be his..

I honestly really liked this scene because you don’t get to see a lot of jack, and this really shows some things he can do.
i love how he threw the card at the dude who can’t even fight him
one of the best fight scenes ever
have you ever watched the expendables 1,2 or 3 ?
Yeah this fight scenes better
if you mention the likes of undisputed, ong bak, ip man, or the raid, i would agree with you...but you just mentioned expendables...
Expendables is merely eye candy for when you wish to turn off your brain for a little while. They had some good action sequences, but this triumpths.
@@ih5004 😂😂💯
0:37 omg that was amazing
The voice changing scene was great sure, I strongly agree, but when I was a kid watching this getting to see an actual magician yeeting fireballs in a fight that made sense was the coolest things kid me had ever seen, that's why the fireballs will always hold a special place in my heart
Oh that's an interesting point; if I were a kid, that would stand out to me too because HOW? But now as an adult, it's the opposite, because having props up my sleeves seems way easier than working my voice like that.
Pipe or cards? *takes cards* fling me like ninja stars

1:36 lol poor guy can't catch a break. Gagged, thrown arms first into a garbage rake thingymajig, glock to the balls, and a card to the face putting him further into the sink XD
I thought I was the only one that was going to mention this lol
the guys asked "really?" because jack chose the more painful weapon despite them being on the same team
I mean, Jack didn’t know that
This is still one of the coolest things I've seen in cinematic history
1:40 I thought he was about to turn into the hulk 😂
Puny cards lol
1:40 It's ok Hulk... Don't smash!😂
1:40
I thought he was going to turn into the hulk for a second
Funnily enough, Mark Ruffalo was actually the director Louis Leterrier’s first choice for Bruce Banner in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
1:28 God move, but he should have used the gold card instead of auto attacking.
Dylan: Really??
Jack: Yup!!
So good
I love that last throw at the agent stuck to the sink. Just for good measure. Lol

Funnily enough in fact: Mark Ruffalo was actually the director Louis Leterrier’s first choice for Bruce Banner in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
The part where he mimics his voice and the cards are the two most badass things

Disappearing in the curtains was a brilliant move..lol..👍🏻💯 awesome movie.
Fun little thing i realize with the voice mimic scene
as soon as Jack takes the radio and the call comes in Dylan knows what he's about to do so he purposefully speaks to Jack so that he can hear his voice and get the sound down for the fake out
After seeing the movie completely, jes that could be right 😄
0:45 u see he practices and copy his voice in sec😂
The walkie talkie that immediately blows up in the small fire kinda made me chuckle. Movie magic I guess.
I love how he starts throwing the cards like gambit
The most badass thing in this is that in most of the fight, Rhodes had a freaking chair attached to his foot.
Damn he’s good at mocking people like he take sit to a whole’nother level for the sentence “Stop mocking me!”
The "SHRIEK" forshadow. Amazing.
who else thought he was gonna turn into the hulk at 1:40
I like this scene because jack fights smart, and it's not just him throwing punches
Anyone else thinking gambit?
When Jack Wilder pulled a Gambit that was the dopest thing ever.
That voice mimicking is something else.
I never noticed but in this Movie you could see Dylan's fathers Chest thing he drowned in when he tried that magic trick. It was revealed in the second one but that was his.

1:40 Then he becomes the Hulk ahaha Lol XD
It’s so cool that his trick that makes him stand out from the rest is by using the cards as ninja stars
“You little aghhh....??” Hahahhaha
Why didn’t he just turn into the hulk, it would of been easier.
I rewatched the whole movie to check if I could find Dylan suspicious but no , he was brilliant
Facts, i still think he wanted to catch him lol
Was probably legit trying to catch him in the spirit of testing Jack as well, not just putting on a show, but really making sure Jack could handle himself sufficiently.
Dylan's list of suspicious moves in this movie are so small, you have to re-watch the whole thing a couple times to find them all. He played everyone so well, no one suspected a thing.
when hulk and lex luther where both magicians, and hulk was revealed to be their boss at the end of the film
