Thanks man - glad you enjoyed it. I honestly think that having good timing is the most important skill for a bass player and to me that means knowing where the beat is but also being able to make it groove. I know sometimes I check back on these videos I created and the groove might be a bit off and I think it occurs when Im focussing on playing the right notes and forget to listen to the music. You can often tell with vocalists the big difference between when they are reading lyrics as compared to having them memorised.....Its the same for us on the bass. My 2 cents
