My mother had a 1987 Lincoln continental when I was a kid. It was beige with a brown carriage roof and brown Pinstripeing. Same color leather interior as this one. The wood grain was a darker color.
The dash lights are supposed to dim when the running or headlights are on. I suspect the switch or connector at the switch maybe. Another good car here. Low miles. Why buy a new car? Cheers 🇨🇦
Beautiful looking car. I remember when this version of the Continental was on the market. I found it way more attractive than the standard Continental and Town Car.
one of my friend dad had a Lincoln continental just like this car same color to. he had a lot of suspension airbags problems. when he figures out suspension airbags problem it was very nice car and very nice ride to. this was very long time ago my friend dad no longer with us anymore and this was in mid and late 1990's when he owns this car.
Except the power train (multiport fuel injected V8, Ford 8.8 rear end, any possibility of being anything but slow). In fact it shares the worst thing, the AOD transmission, but they're not even swappable, at all! Column shifter means the only cool Mark Vii can't use any parts. Maybe a starter, a water pump (though I doubt it), and some fuses. That's it. This guy is selling garbage for crack head prices.
You had the Fender painted and you didn't do the touch up in the back that's hard to explain. The car looks great but the little place in the back that has no paint would break the deal for me.
I had an ‘85 Valentino series Conti from ‘95 till ‘01. Beautiful car and plush interior but not all that comfortable. It’s a narrow car and quirky as well.
I think both Valentino and Givenchy have visually arresting color combos (rich looking to my eye). By 86 you could get JBL sound, and, though not for the purists, easily drop in a Mustang 5.0. [Realistically though you should also upgrade the suspension, but it's Fox body, so it's at least theoretucally posible / shocks, control arms, et al]
beautiful car but your body guy did a terrible job matching the paint! I understand the paint is old but he could have played around with it a little more and got it closer.
Very nice. My 6 th grade teacher Mrs. Hunter had a 1986 burgandy one. I got to ride in on a trip to a lake. It was very nice . 😀

the bustle back or spare tire hump has been a Lincoln staple since the mid 50's usually only found in the Mark series.

Did you sell the car yet? I'm interested if it is still available.
@@StuBrownNLP contact via the main comment section or look up his website is better. He always answers the phone.
He can ship anywhere. Good luck.

That car also shares a lot in common with the Markvii

Glorious 👍

I had an '84 Givenchy loaded. The most incredible highway cruiser ever built.

If I had my checkbook on me when viewing this car, my account balance would be missing 8K in 60 seconds.
Dude is mor transparent then the dealer who sold me my Lincoln Mark VI
Wow! What a car and color!

I agree with you
Is it still for sale?
Nice, but was it pushing a little steam from the exhaust? I’m sure you sold it by now anyway..
SUPER
Thank you
@@orphancargarage5746hello, do you guys have a contract number please.
But otherwise very nice car I loved mine
Hello, contact info please need up with a digital dashboard cluster please.
I know this is old video but what you sold this car for great deal, this car easy $10k or more car just saying
I had a 1982 Continental signature series black with dark pewter red velvet interior and all the bells and whistles this one is not well equipped
Or you could get a Corolla for about $22K.
Unless if it’s a Corolla of the same vintage, no.
@@unitedcity_mc4421 That's not the point.
