I started crying after the transition from their wedding to the destruction and from then on my vision was blurred with tears and feelings were basically tearing my heart open so I might have to watch a second or third time to percieve everything better, but it's just so emotional and it hurts in the best and worst way and just- there's still tears on my cheeks, this is one of the most beautiful animatics I've ever seen, and probably the one to make me cry the hardest. It also really made appreciate Julia's and Magnus' relationship more. You can really see their love here. It feels so real and intense and... I just love this. Thank you.
Wow I didn't expect to see it become the whole adventure. But it did and that was amazing! You really showed well on how happy Magnus and Julia were. And them fighting Cailan together!!

2) I was so enraptured with their pure joy that I kind of totally forgot about the /tragic twist/ with Julia and was genuinely caught off-guard by it
3) I love love love what you did visually when Merle and Taako are introduced to the story
4) just EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC
I love the part where the silhouette of Julia gets further away when the others of the gang come in because that really shows how he can think about his grief less because he has friends to pass the time with. Beautiful
I cannot physically comprehend how amazing this fandom is. Everybody in it is just so talented, and it makes me so happy that people still love and cherish every little aspect of this mind-boggling tale even though the brothers have moved on to Amnesty. I love Amnesty as well, but I simply don't know if I'll ever be able to find attachment like this again. Thank you for this wonderful addition.
This is so very good and makes me feel some very strong emotions. You managed to convey the pure love between these two so well. I think my favourite bit is when we see them dancing in the house through the windows as the day wears on. Just... oh my goodness this is so excellent and touches my heart.

Okay I know it's been nearly three years at this point since it was made, but I only just now saw this video and I'm just.. Floored? I think is the right word? This song already makes me terribly emotional, but the beautiful storytelling you do with the music is utterly breathtaking. All the way through to Magnus' death, which between that and the destruction of raven's roost may have been the best cuts I've seen in a long time. Thank you so much for making this, it honestly put me in tears, still crying as I write this in fact.

This is such a beautiful tribute to them it honestly brought me to tears! I can't express how well you depicted all of the key moments in Magnus and Julia's lives together!
I'm sending this to my friend after he finishes Balance... wish him luck. I've mostly gotten over Magnus's death, but I tear up sometimes. I also drew a picture of two honey jars, inspired by this animatic for my mom's birthday. She put it in the kitchen, so every single time I walk in,I'm reminded of Magnus (she doesn't understand the hidden reference, nor am I going to tell her what's up).

I made it through TAZ just recently having spoiled a lot of it for myself before hand, so i never cried, just a ton of choking up. I listened to this song honeybee a lot back in highschool since it reminds me of my then girlfriend and current fiance... This brought me to absolute shaking tears. Knowing exactly where the song would go and seeing it all laid out before me so beautifully, I could not handle this and I am a puddle of emotions right now. I don't usually write comments, and I know I'm a year late, but. I finished Balance yesterday. This animatic is what made me start it. I didn't know Magnus, or anyone, but I loved the amount of devotion and love and pure goodness this brought. Your storytelling is so Impactful, and the way you used the song? I can't ever imagine this song or hear it without hearing the love and loss and just. Goodness you brought. Your art, all of your animatics, are so crafted with love and goodness. You are an amazing artist. Now that I've finished it, the ending made me cry like a river, but. This is an absolutely stunning piece of work that has impacted me greatly, and I just wanted to thank you SO much for this.

Wow. I just found all your animatics, and just watched this twice in a row. Cried harder the second time (out loud, blubbering, freaking out my dogs).
The most profound part for me is the bright shadow of Julia walking with him everywhere. Someone else said it's powerful because he wasn't alone once Merle and Taako joined, but it hurt for me to see it as him walking with her even when they were added. She never went away. She faded back when he had friends (and things to do and distractions and goals again, but you said it all with the simplicity of the walking figures). but she was still trailing him. SHIT.
The moment when he turns away from the chalice's offer and the music gets more intense (as he cries tears but smiles at that sweet memory I mean my DUDE) aaaaaaaaaagh
