Hello Bhavan, Thank you for creating this video. I just bought a Good V860iii, a Good xPro wireless trigger, bracket, and stand. I have no idea how to use any of this. In 2 days, I will have to use this equipment. Having seen several videos, I like yours in particular. I appreciate that you speak s lowly and make the audience follow you by showing the screen of the flash up close. (At the end you are going a bit faster and the screen has gotten a bit far... It would be good to show the screen of the device closer--as you did in the beginning.) Your video is definitely one of the better ones. Thank you
Pretty good. Although I'm from the UK I found this is one of the best vids I've found for the flash. Could you do a vid explaining everything to do with flashes..as in from the ground up! Thanks
Nice video. I have the Godox trigger. My problem is that setting the light power on the trigger but it does not adjust the power on the flashes. The flash levels don't change.
Very nicely done, Bhaven! I just got this flash, and your video made all of the functions and operation of this flash very clear to me. Thanks for your effort!
Are there any settings in the menu that would keep my flash from firing consistently? There’s sometimes I can even hit the test button and the flash doesn’t fire. Same when taking pictures
Not sure what your specific issue could be. But yes depending on how you are using your flash (stand alone, master, slave), there is an option to not fire the flash even though it may be on. Or it could be a battery issue or malfunctioning of the flash itself
So nice , but how to connect Godox Flash V860II-C with a canon dslr camera !? Is that will auto connect after attached/mounted the flash witn canon dslr or any other setting to do from camera setting menu ? Please inform .... thanks

Good info compared to lot of other videos on this flash, thank you! It would be helpful if you can explain (in another video :)) on the various use cases of the different modes. Ex: when do you use stroboscopic mode? etc.,
Am glad you liked it. The flashing red light is basically an indication that the flash is alive and kicking, constantly checking for radio frequency connectivity with the trigger. I don't think there is a way to turn it off.
Really detailed video! Although I was looking for how I can trigger Osaka DF860 Mark III with built in radio using Godox X1 N transmitter. Little help here!
hi @Rmc Shekhar, I haven't used Yongnuo speed lites in the combination you mentioned above, but. I assume you can't trigger it as they belong to separate brands. However, Godox does have a slave unit, that can be attached to any flash and it becomes compatible with Godox master flash or Godox trigger.

Great video, though I am not able to reset my flash as pressing both the reset buttons RESET is appearing but the zoom is not changing from MANUAL to AUTO and surprisingly it's stucked to 14mm. I have tried all the hit and trials to reset the flash but it's not getting reset, basically I want the flash to get set on ETTL mode with auto zoom function so that it can read the lens zoom on the camera. Could you please help me out sir.
Yes, there is a big difference between the two modes, in terms of the amount of control you get on the flash power that is output. Though there is no right or wrong, both have their own advantages depending on the situation in which you are shooting.

Hi, I can use this flash V860II-C to fire another flash Canon 580EX-II? This flash V860II-C is compatible with Canon SL3 cameras? Thank you for this video!
hi Andre, I don't think you can use this flash to directly fire a Canon flash, as they are of different brands and cannot communicate with each other. However, you can use a Godox receiver and attach it under the Canon flash, this way, it will communicate with the Godox trigger or Godox flash.
Great tutorial. I'm having issues with getting my flash zoom to work. I hit the upper left hand button on my flash and the zoom length gets highlighted but when I turn my flash dial, nothing changes. Any tips?

Hello. Issue: I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV, in AV mode, and bracket 3 photos. My goal is to sync a V860II with a Evolv 200 (I have both a Godox XI and Flashpoint R2 trigger), in bracket mode (not using the built in HDR) on my camera When I attach the V860II directly to my camera (or with the Godox XI mounted with flash), the bracketing in my camera does not function. The flash over rides the bracketing in the camera. Any assistance you can lend in resolving my flash, bracketing issue would be appreciated. thank you
The manual for the 860 says that it comes on automatically only when in low light - when needed. I just bought the Flashpoint version for my Canon 1DX and it doesn't come on at all. Bummer because I was hoping to use it on camera for weddings as a bounce and or fill when needed and the transmitter for my off camera lights. Kind of a deal killer because many receptions are so low lit that it's often almost impossible to focus without an assist beam. The other option would be to use the godox transmitter with hot shoe mount for your Canon flash but you lose all TTL functions of the flash and the connection doesn't feel like it would last.
Yes, this is a bit tricky to understand. And depends on whether you are using on-camera flash, or using it as a trigger for off-camera flash. When using as on-camera flash: in ETTL - both FEB and RCS are available. in Manual only RCS will be available. If you want to use the flash as a trigger and use RCS, it is best to access it from the Camera menu by going into the flash settings. Note: FEB is applicable only to ETTL, logically it can't be used in Manual model. Hope this helps.

I use the Magmod sphere and bounce during events but the head of the 860ii does not lock and the head falls forward when I have magmod on it. Has anyone else come across this?
Yes, this happens with me all the time, and probably happens with everyone else. The weight of the Magmod items is too heave for the flash to balance at an angle. Hence, I usually keep the flash only in upright or front facing positions whenever I add Magmod items to it.
