I agree I carry in the same position as you except for if I’m up walking around a lot I’ll move it sometimes to the appendix, and another good holster I personally like is the Bladetech total eclipse 2.0 it comes with hardware to run both inside and outside the waist band and to me is really comfortable and concealable. That holster looks like a solid option as well.
Appendix carry is faster if you are standing flat footed on a range. I carried my duty weapon at about 3:00 for nearly 30 years. When I am in a fighting stance, using my non-dominant hand defensively, creating space, by back pedaling, I am faster drawing from 3:00. You have to stand upright to draw from Appendix carry effectively/quickly. How realistic is it that you will be standing straight up, squared off directly in front of your assailant when attacked? But, a lot of Special Forces guys swear by Appendix carry, and they have had much more, and much better, training than me.. Maybe I'm just too old and set in my ways to change at this point. Maybe Special Forces guys never back pedal from the threat, I don't know. But, I don't like Appendix carry.
Got my holster yesterday. Great fit, very well constructed and comfortable. I wear it 1:00 mostly while driving and it's very comfy. Just FYI, the link in the video description did not work and the promo code was invalid. But great holster.
@justin5421 trigger guard is hidden. I carried daily for months w/o any issues. Currently have light removed, so carrying with a different rig. Still 10/10 recommend.
Blackhawk is good holster. Being a Blackhawk crew chief that was the go to brand..M9 Beretta was our carry, m4 carbine, and 240 hotel with butterfly trigger and extra barrel with conversion ket that changes butterfly trigger to handle trigger, for emergency egress
I like the idea of a holster that's more accommodating to different setups. As I alter/improve how I run my setup, i don't want to have to spend more on holsters than needed.
I’ve been carrying for 6 months now and I’ve been carrying appendix for all 6 months. I own a Canik mete mc9 and I use the werkz holster and it’s super comfortable for me. Recently I got the Glock 45 with the werkz holster and mag carrier and was carrying appendix and after about 2 weeks I couldn’t appendix carry the Glock 45. I transitioned to the 7 o’clock position because I’m left handed and it’s so comfortable for me. I love both positions but come winter time I’m carrying my Glock 45 because it’s a bigger firearm but also in that hip area simply because it’s more comfortable.
I really like Werkz holsters, I have several of them and they're solid. I didn't know they did non light bearing holsters. I know them for specializing on light bearing holsters.
Chad....consider this....I carry LCP 9x17 ..... I carry it BECAUSE it wedges tightly into the watchpocket of my jeans (very flat) I did not buy the 9x19 model BECAUSE that model is too THICK to fit into watch pocket..... yes I do have other toys but when I wear jeans that's my gear.... good vid....but depending on where I will be I carry accordingly....but you will probably know more about that than I ever will..... thoughts??
I prefer 3-4 o clock carry because it allows me to carry a full size pistol and conceal it better and more comfortably than appendix. The only way to really appendix carry is to have a short barreled pistol with more limited ammo capacity. All to be more “high speed”? Everytime I meet someone like that I keep thinking “🤓🤓🤓” lol
Having basically zero body fat and carrying at the 4:30 position makes IWB plastic holsters unbearable to wear. There's a big difference between uncomfortable and actually having a holster cut into your skin. Also, appendix carry violates the 1st principle rule of firearms safety.
Why would you review a holster that you have never carried with, draw from a position you don’t normally carry from, and draw and shoot a holster you have never shot from?!? Please carry the holster your reviewing a minimum of 6 months every day, and train with it. Otherwise you don’t have any real information to share for you have no experience with it. Cheers Cheers
Nice features on this holster, looks solid. Blake should tuck his ears in his hat around Chadd just to make him mad. 😂🤣
I ordered 1 yesterday and today this video is in my feed. They're always watching

I’d like to see a good battle belt holster setup vid with level 2/3 retention. Love the channel, thanks for all the great content.
Agree I am
Behind the curve on a battle belt set up
Great review Blake! Looks like a very versatile holster.

Just bought the Safariland/Haley Strategic Incog X holster with the mag caddy. Awesome rig!

I have a Werkz IWB holster for my P365xl and TLR7 sub light. Highly recommend.
Don't drop it.
I’m looking at buying the M6 for the same setup. How exposed is the trigger guard? That’s my only worry

Blackhawk crew chief. It’s been a while. I was a 15T Blackhawk crew chief two decades ago. Best time I ever had in my life.
Their website is easy to navigate and find your exact make and model of pistol. Imma order one for my new canik.

Good job Blake, information I needed.

Did we have a court appearance ?😆 I know it's hot down there.
BTW....just watched you and Brook in interview from a year ago...Thanks to you both
Great work with the werkz holster. In another video what are your thoughts on kydex versus leather.
Great job! I'm gonna order one now!
Will Werkz holster retain decent tension on the gun if the light not on the gun at the time.

Well, I have to have one. Or three.

Standard Co holster, the only downside is their ridiculous lead times.
Haley Strategic incog holster is also great.
