Ordered one on Saturday, February 10th. Found a lot of bad reviews afterwards - not sure where they were when I was initially researching it, haha. Checked the website and it still hadn't shipped on Thursday the 15th - so I cancelled it and got a NERD holster. Customer service got in touch, said they'd cancel it and the request would take a few days. Surprise surprise, the next day I get a notification that the holster shipped. I contacted customer service again and was told that refunds are a request, not a guarantee, but that I could still return it once I got it. It's the 22nd now, and I still don't have the holster a week after it "shipped". By the way - the NERD holster is fantastic, super well made, and I had a great interaction with their customer service department. It arrived 3 days after I ordered it with a handwritten note addressed to me.
I had the exact same experience. They shipped it even though I tried to cancel the order. I got my holster and decided to try it out. It's unbelievably bad. I bought a holster to fit a p365xl with a tlr7 sub. I cannot get the gun out of the holster when i'm wearing it. It will not come out no matter how hard I pull. I've adjusted the retention all the way out. It's bad.
I have 2 WTP holsters. Theyve worked just fine for me. The first one for my m&p admittedly took a while to ship, but the 2nd one for my Glock 45 got here in a week. Both of mine click in perfectly fine.
Thank you for this review. I kept getting email adds from them and was thinking that they kinda looked cheap quality and you've certainly confirmed it.

You're the first person out of 100s of comments and reviews that hasn't had customer service issues. Mine took a month to ship and another 3 weeks to arrive. Never responded to my multiple emails.
Mine suck. I have one for my canik TP9sf with a stream light, definitely no click, shitty retention. I can shake it upside down and the gun falls out. Unacceptable. Also have one for my mc9. It scratches the shit out of my gun and I print worse then when I’m carrying my Glock 29 in a tulster, which makes absolutely no sense considering a Glock 29 is significantly larger in every dimension. They’re nice because they have one for every single gun you can think of, but past that nothing decent about them.
Haven't had any issues. Went with we the people because of limited options for Canik MC9. Ended up getting another for my Kimber Raptor. Both shipped pretty quickly, but USPS is usually garbage over the last couple yrs. Canik MC9 and Kimber Raptor, Both "click" well. Both fit well. Happy with both... Is it possible if your holster isn't "clicking" the retention screw isn't tight enough?
@@ryanhoodgfb I can tighten it all the way down until it’s very difficult to pull out and it never clicks into place, and you can still shake it out. I didn't have any issues with getting my holster but I did notice that there was not as much hardware on it compared to my OE canik holster. Definitely should have done some more research 👍🏼
I was given one by a guy I met at a gun range. After trying it at home, I didn't like the way they felt, the way it rode, and had doubts about it's retention after repeated use. Went back to my old holster that still works.

Not sure what the issue is. I've had a WTP for my Glock 43X carry almost everytime I leave the house. It snaps when I return the gun to its home. Never had an issue. Surprised to hear all of this.

Excellent video, man. I run Bordertown Holsters. The quality is there. No lead times. Great guys making them. They even offer customization. I have kydex level 1 and 2 holsters, kydex IWB holsters and kydex mag pouches. They have been fantastic.
Ive never had a problem the the holsters themselves but I've always bought them off Amazon until recently I ordered from them directly and I guess thats where I made the mistake 😂
Have had one and carried one for a couple years, the only thing that made me stop carrying it was the clip broke. More than likely my fault, I pulled on the clip too hard for too long to get it off my belt. I finally got around to replacing it recently, took about a week to arrive at my door. A bittersweet revelation that it wont come off my belt easy. The designs are good not great, they look a little faded in all reality but for about 60 bucks with shipping for a "budget gun" with not many options "or so I thought at the time" in a nice color pattern it wasn't a bad deal. Can't say I ever had a problem with customer service, never needed it
Me too. Hasn't shipped yet, it's been 21 days terrible shipping and their web site won't take the password I created . Yes I wrote it down so I know I'm using the correct one. Lol
Going to interject some personal experience and thoughts from three decades of carrying a firearm as a peace officer. Having been both a uniformed officer and plainclothes detective, with both revolvers and autoloaders, these are my thoughts. I use leather holsters. Yes, I'm well aware of the current trend in plastic guns and holsters, but in my opinion it's a marketing campaign, based upon ease of production, and greater profits. I've tried both plastic guns and holsters but, found them lacking. I know that I have relied on steel weapons and leather gear in three shootings during my career as a peace officer. And I've investigated dozens officer involved shootings as an additional detail assigned me to head the shooting review board in my department. The number of "accidental" shootings quadrupled when striker fire autoloaders were involved. Add the plastic rigs, and it was also a contributing factor. A recently retired surgeon friend of mine put it this way; "As a medical doctor, I'm not going to have a loaded striker fire autoloader pointing at my femoral artery and nerve." And he's right. We lost an officer that was carrying an appendix holster and Glock 19. And the numerous accounts of people who are injured and killed by "accidental" discharge of striker fire autoloaders, indeed present a safety issue to be sure. Today, now in retirement, I still carry a weapon. However, it's wood and steel, in a leather holster on my hip. I don't trust plastic weapons and gear. Those are my thoughts on the matter. And I'm sure that comments from the " Tactical" following are going to have all sorts of responses. But do they have any real experience in actual shootings? Or investigation into them? I doubt I'd make much money on any bets they do.
Thanks for your input. I’m the fat to appendix carry and I never would anyways. I don’t see how it’s comfortable at all. I’m left handed and carry between 7-8 o’clock. Leather holsters are a different story. I had a bad experience of my gun getting knocked out of my leather holster at a kid’s birthday party. Nothing more nerve racking than having your gun hit the ground around kids and anti gun parents. I haven’t used a leather holster since. Great thing is people can use whatever they feel comfortable with. Thanks for watching 👊🇺🇸
@@jesseboutdoors Well sir, alot of it depends on the quality of the leather holster. I've seen "budget" holsters that I would never use. Don Hume builds excellent holsters for a reasonable price. Been using them, and Safariland for decades. Wrestled drunks, full out fights with resisting suspects, and running hard and never lost a weapon. Ya do get what you pay for..😁
How long does it typically take for wtp to receive an order and get it shipped? Iv heard a couple days Iv heard a couple months I’d like to hear about anybody else’s experiences
@@jesseboutdoors They told me last year they were gonna have a made holster just for the newer XD Elite 10mm. Here we are 8 months later... Still NOTHING 👎🏾👎🏾
It seems as though WTP Holsters are designed to only use WTP parts like the clip or the claw. They were the first holster company I ordered from and got a free holster mount. I LOVE the holster mount. I realized how limited I was as I wanted to replace their clip with a monoblock clip and realized I couldn't. I like WTP holster colors, which is why I ordered one recently and used coupon codes to get my holster cheaper. But when I ordered, I forgot why I stayed away from them for 2 years.
Still waiting on my wtp holster.... about to do a charge back and get the cloacktuck 4.0..... did you have shipping issues with wtp also? Like long wait times?
Mine just said it was out for delivery today ordered it almost 2 months ago. Didn't wanna wait to be able to carry so I ordered a cya iwb holster off of Amazon it came the next day and I love it. Tried to cancel the order almost 2 weeks before it shipped and they still just sent it out with no reply to my email. Worst customer service I have personally experienced.
Ordered one of those holsters with the "claw attachment "for my glock, took about 3 weeks to arrive, not very impressed with it,doesn't carry right and yes I tried all the various adjustments it has
I got one for cheap on one of their sales. I didnt have very high hopes, i just wanted something fast. It works ok. My biggest issue is the hole spacing for the clip. It is "proprietary". That means no aftermarket clips work with it. SMH. Ill use it till it wears out or the plastic clip breaks, then im gonna splurge and get a tier 1.
Same issue i have with my holster from them for my Glock 29/30. Retention sucks! I told them about it and they asked for a bunch of pictures to send me a replacemeng holster and the new holster was the same crap
The N8 is a surprisingly nice holster for the price. I accidentally ruined mine when I left the holster on my dash over a weekend. But good video! Much the same reasons I stopped messing with WTP...and no, the claw is no better. It's still a tiny little POS. There's so many better holsters, with better and more mounting options, better retention..and better companies. Again, good video
We the people holsters are the only kydex holsters i can use with my m&p 9 ez with a olight baldr rl mini unless I use a craft holster leather holster which is custom made and with a we the people holsters never had any problems with customer service and always get the click sound sure I might have to do a little bit of stretching of the kydex to make something work but it's still a good holster
Others should catch up to the light capability options that they have. They'll be the top dog until companies get their modern crap together. Light barring and red dots are here and holster companies refuse to make holsters for them.
I just got one and I feel that it feels wicked cheap, especially for the price that I paid. It may be good enough, but I think that they cost too much.
Oh really? I placed an order 9 DAYS ago… still unfulfilled. Can’t cancel after 24 hours. I understand Thanksgiving just rolled through. But come on, it’s one day. If you aren’t going to be shipping orders throughout the entire break, you need to say that on your website. I could have had a holster from Amazon a day after I ordered it. And I’m pissed I didn’t.
@@jakemensik2842I bought one about a year ago and they did the same thing to me. Took them about 14 days to even get it shipped. It came in a box with no accessories like I see in the videos(WTP sticker, bag, etc)
Won't cancel orders it sits unfulfilled for weeks and they are rude and won't refund after a week n half of still not filled n shipped. Just for a belt. Also paid way extra for fast shipping n what a waste they wont refund shipping either. You got to also pay return shipping for problems or return. Told them to cancel they said they can't its processed and shipping. Was 3 days ago. Lady on phone is horrible. I disputed it so i got my money back i told them but they still are gonna try to ship and make a hassle out of it. Good thing my bank is awesome!
I got one and have no problems with it. The problem is their non stop multi times a day e-mails. Enough already! That turned me from them and I have purchased additional side arms but their holsters are not from WTP...There are comparable or better products and prices out there...
I mean they're $55 now so the price hasn't gone up that much...🤷🏽 Mind you w/them being made state side AND inflation WTP holsters are still a decent buy. Yeah you can buy cheaper holsters made in China, but you get what you pay for.
So it seems that the problem isn't quality but price to quality ratio and that's a really fair criticism. I bought a WTP one recently, since they came up on google and I didn't research as much as I should have. It worked out well for me for the 1911 5" model, it snaps in loud and firm, and the belt clip is surprisingly secure for a one-point plastic clip. But I do think the alternatives with full metal clips seem a better deal. That Crosby with the two-point clip looks particularly nice.
That just goes to show that a nice logo and a good name can take you a long way. The material is too thin and flimsy, this causes lowsy tetention. Yeah, they tricked me too
Out of all things related to guns you had to come for them years later?? Smh Loyalty is hard to find these days, probably had a ussy fit cause they wouldn't sponsor him or give him what he wanted
For the WPH set up, youre aproaching the baba yaga ronin from gunfightersINC price for just over $100. MUCH better holster. WPH have gotten too big for their britches. I understand a little bit though, they have to charge extra so they can pay the pick me girl outdoor influencers all these gun guys are simping so hard for.
@@jesseboutdoors there's nothing wrong with using women for their advertisement but I do take a company less seriously when they wag a set of tits in my face to try to get me to buy a product that is mostly targeted at men.
It takes 6 weeks to get anything delivered from them! I AM dissing them! I wouldn’t have bought half the stuff I did if I knew I’d have to wait 6 weeks. BS
Yeah their shipping is a joke. I order other things for other places days after I order thier tactical belt and I got those items much quicker and the other thing shipped form over seas..
I just received mine. The glock gets stuck. Even with the adjustment screw losend. There is zero click to ensure it's held in. I'm gonna return it. Poor craftsmanship
WtP has been dumpster fire hot garbage since the very first holster they made. i make holsters and can outdo wtp for about 4 bucks in materials. I've seen dozens of wtp fail in everyday use.
Oh wow not wonder why the guy who works for the wph needs youtube to make him buy wph lol. The ad opens with the guy saying youtube made me buy this holster.
Their prices have gotten ridiculous for sure and they can't blame Bidenflation. When I bought one of their holsters for my Shield in the mid-20 teens, it was 25 bucks! I'm kind of ticked off at them myself. I had contacted them about getting one for review in the P365 Sig and they said sure, no problem. They've ghosted me since then. I can't get a response out of them. I was going to do a comparison with the Versacarry I've been using for the P365. They've definitely lost a customer.
I never understood the novelty of color patterns for a CONCEALED handgun. But charging for optics cut is a cash grab that costs more than even leather holsters.

bought from bordertown when he first started making them. they are the best
Ive never had a problem the the holsters themselves but I've always bought them off Amazon until recently I ordered from them directly and I guess thats where I made the mistake 😂
Thank you. I was just bout to buy the We The People one just because i see their ads here on UA-cam.
@@desmondjohnson3601 they plaster ads everywhere with their gun bunnies.
Lol
I only got we the people holsters because they where one of the few that made holsters for my psa dagger. I haven't had problems with it yet.

I purchased a WTP Holster. Why? They gave me 30 percent off.
Thanks for watching.
How long does it typically take for wtp to receive an order and get it shipped? Iv heard a couple days Iv heard a couple months I’d like to hear about anybody else’s experiences
I haven’t got anything from them in over a year so I don’t know. Thanks for watching.
I ordered 11/9 and received 11/21.
I ordered on 11/17 and just got mine today 12/7
I've been waiting 3 weeks for my order to ship
Thanks!
Only thing I mess with anymore with them is shirts when on sale....
They did have some nice shirts.
@@jesseboutdoors They told me last year they were gonna have a made holster just for the newer XD Elite 10mm. Here we are 8 months later... Still NOTHING 👎🏾👎🏾
great comparison Jesse.👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
It seems as though WTP Holsters are designed to only use WTP parts like the clip or the claw. They were the first holster company I ordered from and got a free holster mount. I LOVE the holster mount. I realized how limited I was as I wanted to replace their clip with a monoblock clip and realized I couldn't. I like WTP holster colors, which is why I ordered one recently and used coupon codes to get my holster cheaper. But when I ordered, I forgot why I stayed away from them for 2 years.
Thanks for watching.
Still waiting on my wtp holster.... about to do a charge back and get the cloacktuck 4.0..... did you have shipping issues with wtp also? Like long wait times?
I haven’t got a holster from them in over a year. Wait time wasn’t bad then. Thanks for watching.
It took about a month a couple of years ago. I couldn't imagine the waiting period if things have gotten worse for them.
Sorry to hear that.
Thanks for the information I was looking at WTP but now going with 4Bros for my Sig XTEN Comp 10mm
@@2WheelShenanigans thanks for watching.
Ordered one of those holsters with the "claw attachment "for my glock, took about 3 weeks to arrive, not very impressed with it,doesn't carry right and yes I tried all the various adjustments it has
I also have a video of my experience with the claw. Thanks for watching.
I don't recommend them or their belts.
Yep I have a couple of their belts sitting in the closet I never used.
Have you talked to WTP holsters about the issues to see if they can fix them & maybe adj. pricing? Curious. Thanks. 🙏 👍
I’ve talked to them about a few things. Sounds like they are set in their ways.
Glad I watched this before buying WTP holster. Thanks!
Well from the sounds of the comment section they really aren’t doing good right now. Thanks for watching.
Im only considering because I need a open muzzle iwb with tlr7
Mine broke in around 1 year of daily use. Clip snapped in half.
Not surprised from the cheap plastic. Thanks for watching.
Tighten the retention screw
You can only tighten it so much before the gun won’t come out smoothly. Thanks for watching.
Man i just bought a holster from them yesterday because when i researched them i seen all positive reviews
Seems hit and miss. Thanks for watching.
Same here
So I got my holster it took about 11 days but they sent me the wrong one so now I have to get them to send the correct one
@@jayrock2288 that sucks.
@@jayrock2288 Just buy a new gun to fit it.
Thanks! I can see kydex not handling the heat through a windshield 🤣
I have a tp9 with 45 blast comp and o light baldr pro
Great review, had the same problems, but mine was a “gift”.
Thanks for watching.
Others should catch up to the light capability options that they have. They'll be the top dog until companies get their modern crap together. Light barring and red dots are here and holster companies refuse to make holsters for them.
Thanks great review . I was upset with their belts too .good job
@@peteromprey9253 thank you.
It was the cyber truck in their ad. I couldn't do it.
Jesse. Good video. Thanks for the holster review. Take care.
Thanks for watching.
you said the WTP holster was for a glock with a compensator yet you are using a different glock so your test is invalid
Are you that ignorant? A comp has nothing to do with it. It’s a Glock 17 holster. You can put a Glock 26 in it and it would work.
Their prices are crazy for what you get. Great review.
@@MakoKong thanks for watching.
I just got one. They are ok. But I agree the quality is closer to the 30-40 price range and the claw is trash.
Solid video man!
I really enjoyed and thank you for all this i formation!! ❤❤❤❤
Thanks 👊🇺🇸
Great comparison
Thanks 👊🇺🇸
Great video and options I appreciate you
Thank you and thanks for watching.
I just got one and I feel that it feels wicked cheap, especially for the price that I paid. It may be good enough, but I think that they cost too much.
Thanks for watching.
Never had problems with mine. It has your much needed "click" as well
Wish i saw this vid before i put down an order. The company seems to have gone quiet after they got my money.
I haven’t got anything from them in over a year so I have no clue what they’re doing now. Thanks for watching.
Yes it sounds like they have bad shipping lately from what I’ve been hearing.
8 to 14 days for processing for their holsters. Makes no sense. I had to cancel after 2 weeks of processing.
This isn’t the first time I have heard this. That’s just ridiculous.
I believe it's pronounced Nate Tactical
I always wondered that 🤣
I got one and have no problems with it. The problem is their non stop multi times a day e-mails. Enough already!
That turned me from them and I have purchased additional side arms but their holsters are not from WTP...There are comparable or better products and prices out there...
Bravo Concealment makes a pretty decent holster
I need to try them out sometime. Thanks for watching.
Bravo concealment is at a very good price point also! Good videos, subscribed!
@@wvmountaineer69 thanks!
I mean they're $55 now so the price hasn't gone up that much...🤷🏽
Mind you w/them being made state side AND inflation WTP holsters are still a decent buy.

I dont want it to make an audible clip though. Why does that matter 😂
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 have no clue what you mean by audible clip. You talking about your clipazine? 🤣
It matters because most people would like to know their firearm is seated & secured properly without it jumping out.
Good click = a good stick
Any Kydex holster is bad for the finish on your pistol I only have Falco holsters their the best out there

I’ve never tried them but heard good things. Thanks for watching.
I agree! It was the only company that I could find a quality left handed holster for my S&W 642 38 snubby. Good left handed holsters are hard to find.
A nicely done comparo, Jesse. I like the way you present options to viewers. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Thanks Walter 👊🇺🇸
I find their holsters to be great. All I need it to do is securely hold my firearm. Having said that, the company itself is just shit to deal with.
Yes. Thanks for watching.
On Your 6 holsters out of San Antonio is legit!

That just goes to show that a nice logo and a good name can take you a long way. The material is too thin and flimsy, this causes lowsy tetention. Yeah, they tricked me too
Yep. Thanks for watching.
Mine came in 2 weeks

Their material seems to be getting thinner.
That’s not good.
They want to charge you +$25 for an aluminum clip… what a rip off.

We the people arenot for the people
WtP has been dumpster fire hot garbage since the very first holster they made. i make holsters and can outdo wtp for about 4 bucks in materials.
I've seen dozens of wtp fail in everyday use.

Vedder, Hawg, Werkz, and Safariland for me. We the People holsters are weak and overpriced.

I got one for my p366 xl. You’re not missing much. I carry my p365 xl in a vedder holster.
Boy, you have an ax to grind
Why’s that?

that's because they ship from China
Yup people that work warehouse say it on google maps
I never understood the novelty of color patterns for a CONCEALED handgun. But charging for optics cut is a cash grab that costs more than even leather holsters.
