Oh MayMay!!!!!😲😲😲 Everything about this poinsettia rosette is PERFECT.🥰 I almost skipped it when I saw the thumbnail, because I was sure it would be way too difficult, but you explained and demonstrated so cleanly. I'm very eager to try it out! Thank you!❤
Your creative DNA is outstanding! Such a beautiful ornament, gift topper or tag! I also admire your ability to instruct other crafters in such a clear and concise way! I know I've said this before but you're such a natural born teacher, it bears repeating! TFS!!
Gorgeous! I just cut a bunch of rosette tags for craft day with my Church Ladie's Group...back to the cutter! They will love these! Thanks for the inspiration and know-how. You make the rest of us look good! God bless.
I am absolutely amazed. This is one of the best videos I have ever seen. I wish I had come across it when you initially did it. I would have made tons of these for Christmas. I love these. They are the most beautiful poinsettia flowers I have ever, and I mean ever seen. You are a true artist. I happened on your site by accident, but I am certainly glad that I did. I intend to watch every video you have on youtube. Thank you for such distinct and easy to follow instructions too.
LOVE ,LOVE, LOVE all the adorable things you've been coming up with rosette folds !!! Keep that beautiful mind creating thank you so much for teaching us !!! God Bless You all !!!
Gorgeous!!! I 💗 the sequins. I'm thinking of cutting my leaves out of glitter paper, no veins needed. This is very inspirational! ❤ I am a newer follower and I'm absolutely loving all of your videos including every rosette tutorial. I appreciate how hard you work from forming an idea to completing your videos for us. You're an Ah~MAY~zing instructor!! Much love to you and Vinnie.
I really enjoyed this tutorial. I will add this to my flower making rosettes. I bet you can make all kinds of designs with this method. I had came up with flower type rosette that was so challenging but it should not have been that hard. I bet it could have been made easier with this method...Thanks
Love this idea.. You can make extra sections from green card stock for the leaves. Also...Use just four sections made from white card stock to make a cross or North Star. Use five sections to make a five pointed star. All can be decorated for Christmas. Thanks for sharing. Ps please share the other ideas that you have. It doesn't have to be Christmas related. Besides, you never know how we will get inspired by your awesome tutorials. God bless.
Maymay, your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow. I know you work hard to make sure they are and we sure do appreciate it! Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas. I can't wait to try these and for more to follow!
Hi, Loved playing with this idea thank you. Even my 7 year old grandchild made one today. I have found another short cut! When you have the paper scored, place double sided tape down the 1/2" panel number 10 and no. 20 before cutting into 2" strips.Fold and cut angle. I know this wastes some of the tape, but it means you have all the tape on the right side of each piece. It also means that your tape is right to the top and bottom of each piece so a bit stronger.I also found that the flower fits face down inside my double sided tape reel, and this holds it in place while I hot glue the circle on the back. The reel holds it whilst the glue dries and because it is not being held just by hand , it relaxes so that all the petals even themselves up.
Hello, I happened upon your channel because I was trying to find out how to make rosettes to use on my Christmas packages this year. We are remodeling, and I can't seem to find my box of ribbon to make bows, so I thought I could come up with something I could use instead. I saw these when I was watching your rosette video. The rosettes are exactly what I envisioned for my gifts until I saw this. I'm now going to use the rosettes and put some pictures of my Grandchildren as the center for ornaments for gifts. Now I can also add stars and poinsettias on my gifts to brighten them up. I have already started wrapping the gifts I have purchased, and I didn't want to use the store-bought bows, I have always used a bow or something I make (like one year I used quilted ornaments). I still have 2 quilts and some placemats to make, so the more I can get done the more relaxed I can be for the holidays. I can't wait to get started and watch some more of your videos. Thank you so much, your instructions are so detailed, which really helps inspire more to try to make crafts. I just thought I'm going to add this to my list of crafts to teach at church for special little additions to add to food baskets we give to the needy. How great would these be hanging on a basket full of love? Once again, thanks for sharing your special talents with us.
Beautiful!!! Thanks for figuring this out and sharing with us. Can't wait to make some. They would look pretty put on floral wire or a stick and displayed in a vase. Maybe do a double sided poinsettia. A lot of possibilities.
OMG, can't wait to make these! I love your tutorials so much because you explain everything so well and really make it easy to understand your instructions! These will be so fun to make in different colors also although I always love the traditional red and green.
I just love these! So beautiful. The bells are ice but I love the sequins. I hope I can do this. I'm going to try. Thank you Maymay. Bring on the rosettes! Love them.
Thank you for such clear, detailed instructions! Since my Stroke, I often find it difficult to understand what I am hearing. You make it much easier-thank you again!
OMG! I would love to have your crafting gadgets! I absolutely love this tutorial! It's so boutique quality and truly handmade with love! I love how they turned out, too!
65lb. cardstock works great! I just got done making 75 of them. Thanks for the great idea MayMay. Oh! Did I hear you were thinking of making a snowflake rosette???? Makes puppydog eyes. I hope so!
I love the one with the bells BUT I love the sequins. I am going to make and share on my channel, credit and link your tutorial. As always beautiful projects. Thank you so...much!
I was thinking about making a wreath out of them when you said it....I may try it. Or maybe make a garland. Maybe try some pink or white ones. I wonder how easy it would be to fold them if the paper were embossed first. I have a few other ideas I may try, too, but I guess I better try a basic one, first! Thanks for another great idea! ~Leslie

How big is the diameter of your tape reel? I'm looking around the house for something that can help hold it.
You did it again Maymay. Gorgeous flowers. Loved the added touches you added.
The loveliest flower I've ever seen being crafted- stunning x
