What I love about her is she emphasizes how its ok to not get it perfect the first time. there is a learning curve. This is a great example of the difference between Americans and those from the some of the Happiest countries in the world! Other cultures accept that life docent have to be perfect to be happy!!
Keep Creating !!
Ummm I am American and I do accept that life Doesn’t have to be perfect.
I adore everything about this! The stars, the simplicity, and the creator. I love her voice! And her accent endearing because her English is impeccable. Warmest wishes to her and thanks for sharing!
Agree! I loved watching this ⭐🌟💖
Reminds me of the movie “ I Remember Mama.”
Love how she actually showed us how to do it in a min so itwasnt just a click bait title. I love diy like this. i will make these got some beads etc that i can use to decorate
My mother had taught me how to make these when I was a little girl back in the 60s-70s, I had forgotten the fold ... THANK YOU SO MUCH -- no only for the tutorial but for reminding me of a precious memory
Yes, it's sometimes wonderful to go back to childhood memories! :)
Omg 60s-70s How was it then?!
@@aiswarya1302 Groovy!
My mom made these too! I'm so happy to learn it again
my daughter is nine years old and she watched your video and just like that she was able to make them in one minute just like you. You have such a nice talent and thank you for sharing it with us!😜
Good
Im nine years old too and still working on it andtakes me 2 mins now
@@londynlomayestewa8910 Keep going💪 you got this!
Londyn Lomayestewa Wow! That’s great 😁 I’m 11, and I love making these things
Caroline Keane I agree! But...can’t u just cut a star then do the folding...hate to break it to ya
Betsy Ross, who made the first American flag, impressed George Washington by cutting a star with one cut. She must have done this. These are so beautiful and I am going to make some. Thank you so much!!!! Lovely!
as the legend goes at least
@@kameronpeterson3601 Right.
In my school (in Brazil) my class is making (?) a Secret Santa, but I’m really shy (and broke lol) so I never participate. However, my amazing friends are making a Secret Santa of our own, but with friendly notes and drawing or handmade things like these (anything you can do to give to someone else) and I’m supposed to give one different thing to my friend everyday until our final exams start and these are perfect! Easy to make, cheap and so pretty! Thank you for sharing this tip with us ❤️❤️
Much love from Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Thank you so much!
Julia Calvet home made things made by you are so special! Good for you!
That is a good idea!! Inexpensive and handmade!
That is a beautiful idea!
Voce deve fazer uma strella poquinha mais grande cada dia! Pra que a sua amiga pode por tudas as stellas encima da outra pra fazer um monte da strellas!!! (I hope that made sense, gosto de praticar o portugues tao bonito! And in English we say "doing Secret Santa" ;) )
Can I just say that you are an amazing teacher. Compassionate and clear. The two qualities that matter most.
Love a lady who keeps her promise - well done! I will take my time 😉
That is FANTASTIC!!! Thank you for sharing this!!! I’m going to make 12” paper stars this way, punch holes in them, put two back to back and seam them with silver plumbers tape so I can use battery powered lighting and use them as Christmas ornaments hanging in my hallway. Thank you for the inspiration! ~Sheeara, Alaska
I love to do crafts during Christmas time with my grandchildren. It is priceless because they will don't with her children and it will bring great memories
Beautiful, and very clearly explained. I shall enjoy making some of these charming decorations with my grandchildren next month. Thank you.
Edit: I have made these stars now. I bought some beautiful Art Deco inspired foil paper from an art shop. The first star came out a little odd with 3 long points and 2 short but I actually managed to refill and recut to correct it.
The third star I didn’t need to watch the video by and my fourth star I did with no instructions at all and altered the cutting angle to get a very different but equally as lovely star.
Easy and fun. Thank you.
I don't think making something beautiful needs to be rushed. It's not a race. Take you time everyone, enjoy this beautiful craft and one that was so beautifully demonstrated in this video!
Hmmm. I think I see these lovely little stars in my future, made with paper that has been painted with a coat of glow in the dark acrylic paint and stuck to the bedroom ceiling! Thanks for sharing.
Glowing stars would be wonderful!
Those would make beautiful Christmas tree ornaments.
I love your your beautiful accent too. These stars are gorgeous, especially the pale blue one, stunning. Thank you. 💖
I like that these can be stored flat! That’s a real advantage for seasonal decorations!
Thank you for this: Clear, easy-to-follow directions; Very pretty Stars⭐⭐Creative examples of various ways to decorate the Stars!
My teacher gave us a assignment to make her a homemade ornament,
these are absolutely adorable and easy! Thank you 😊
WOW!!!!!This is sooooo useful!! This Christmas, I'm calling 20 teachers n this would be such a lovely Idea!!! God bless you!!!
I’m obsessed! I adore these stars! The options and possibilities are endless!
I watched this last year and made one star. I wanted to make more this year but forgot how to do it. Thank you for this. I’ll get busy now and teach my granddaughter how to do it. She’ll be all over adding bling. I dream of a tree with nothing but paper ornaments.
Greetings from Canada! I will be making them for Christmas. Watching Hallmark movies, tea, and crafting paper! Thank you for video!
I made these with my son when he was little...we would make two of the same size and glue them back to back to hand all over the house. Much fun memories...thanks for rebooting my memories,,,ha!
Even better than 5 minute crafts! Thank you for showing us how to do this with clear instructions!
That was what I was just thinking
Thank you and I made it and it worked. And I loved it thanks 😊
Thank you! Very clever and beautiful project! The possibilities are endless! Gift tags, package decorations, Christmas decorations, wall decorations... just endless!
Lovely video by an engaging presenter. Really easy star. Thanks!!
Oh thank you! I followed along to learn with a post it note! It was within reach and it worked! I must confess though, I hit pause after the cut and didn't see yet which half you would work to make a star. I began to unfold my little masterpiece and I chuckled...I chose the wrong half! I opened the half with the star MISSING. Cracked me up when I realize the teeny little triangle I nearly discarded was what you intended me to work. Well, I did and it is a beautiful little 3 dimensional star! : ) And yes one of my points has the sticky part from the post it, but it was the perfect ratio measurement to learn with! Encourage any one else to try it too! Thanks Auermedia!
Thank you! I can imagine that tiny little star with a sticky point 😁 Glad to hear you finally made it! 👍
@@auermediaartscrafts : ) There is going to be many late night starry starry nights in my future because of you! ; ) Can't wait!
Whata great idea tho! Then you can stick the stars up!
Snap I was like no I've cut up my star......silly wally the star is the but that flew away off screen lol

Thank you so much for this tutorial on these paper stars, I am looking forward to making some for Christmas, and some for patriotic holidays.
I love the accent more than the star. You are your own star. 🤩🤗🥰
Great clear description & demonstration. Lovely send result. Thank you.
Very helpful tutorial.
Now I finally understand this process.
Thank you.
Yay!❣️🤗 Thank you for this super easy toturial. I will be showing the little ones, and the not so little ones, 92 years to be exact. We will try to do the one minute challenge. This will be so much fun, and the best part is that we don't have to buy special materials. Yay indeed!
Yes, it's fun activity. I hope they like it! 😊💕
Wow! This is the best star tutorial on UA-cam! Even though this video was posted over a year ago, it's timeless! I've decided to decorate my small Christmas tree with only handmade ornaments and while I have plenty of pretty designs already, these stars are the perfect addition for my tree. Thank you so so much for posting this tutorial! I also enjoyed listening to you! Happy Holidays to you!
Cassie's Creations, Thank you so much! Happy Holidays to you too! 💕
@@auermediaartscrafts this would be a great way to use the front part of old Christmas cards!
I Love these stars. So easy and with glitter paper.. They come out beautifully.
So simple! Years ago, I saw a video with someone making this type of star and then using German spangle to make them sparkly. I had forgotten about that until today. Thank you! 😄
Very nice tutorial.
The ending result after decorated is simply beautiful. Thank you for your simple tutorial. Very easy to understand!!! Thank you. What beautiful gifts these would make. Especially the tiny ones!!!
I wish everyone on UA-cam made their diy videos like you do; clear, concise & right to the "point" (no pun intended) lol This has to be the easiest Tutorial for making-(In my case... an abundance of Christmas ornaments!) Especially bc its inexpensive, beautiful and thanks to you easy to make!
I love this, such a clear tutorial! I've decorated my front window with Amazon paper! Thank you!
I used to make these as a kid and I had forgotten how! Bless you for posting this!
I need to make gumpaste stars for a cake and I think this will make a wonderful shape to use for it to form it on and allow it to dry so it will be dimensional when finished.
Thank you! I am sharing this with my daughter so she can teach my grandchildren how to make them. I live far away, or I would teach them myself.
Merry Christmas!
It was hard to do but I like it so much THANK YOU !!!
Terrific video with everything explained very well. The stars are beautiful and can be decorated to make them beautiful. Thank you for sharing. 🇨🇦
Thank you for this video, I tried to find a star ornament for my tree but all the stores were all sold out, I made two of these using shiny gift wrap, taped them together and stuck it on top of my tree and it looks really nice with the rest of the decorations!
How easy, beautiful and wonderful! Thank you!
You showing how you made it in a minute is simply honest and admirable. 💕
What a wonderful beautiful ornament project to do with the children😊🎄🎄🎄🎄
I'm enjoying your lovely voice. I'm glad I know how to do these, just in time for Christmas. Thank you!
These are going to make wonderful gifts for all my 4-H kids and my little preschool music class. Thank you for such a clear tutorial.

Great video! Clear, concise! Thank you!
I love it!!! It's cheap, it's easy and beautuful! I'll made some stars to decorate my room
Thank you so much for this video! I have arthritis so it won't be a minute, but I can fold this ❤😊 I'm going to do multiple sizes, then attatch to 2-meter lengths of fishing line at various angles, with dots of hot glue. Then hang the strands to make a "wall" of stars for the holidays
I love these! 😍 Great job with the video too. I appreciate that you get right to it, rather than talk about nonsense for several minutes beforehand. Your directions were very clear and easy to follow. You showed a variety of different examples. And the video was quick and fun to watch. Thank you. 👏🏻 5 star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hahaha. No pun intended. I am hitting the subscribe button now. 🤩
I made your stars and hung them on my Christmas tree. They are beautiful! Thanks!😊

You are very talented and explain very well. Good teacher!
I think I'm going to try to make various sizes of these out of wrapping paper & try to hang them on my wall of Christmas cards! I hope the wrapping paper isnt too thin & I can figure out how to attach them to the wall nicely!
