AGREED.Grew-up with this-GREAT-show and will be sad to see it leave,I stopped watching nba games several years ago, but, would still watch-Inside the Nba. Must see tv.Gonna miss the entire TNT team.
My favorite moment on Inside The NBA was back in 2006. The Nuggets were playing the Clippers in the playoffs. Cris Kamen of Clippers and Reggie Evans of the Nuggets got into a scuffle. Evans basically grabs Kamen’s 🥜 from behind. And Ernie when describing it says that Evans “Got his hands caught in the cookie jar.” 😄 Charles responds “I don’t know where you get yo cookies from!” 😄 Kenny responds “This is nuts!” 🤣 They have to figure out a way to keep this crew and the show together.
Inside the NBA made the passing of Kobe much sadder, not only by seeing Shaq's reaction to the tragedy, but also by seeing Shaq carve out a lane for himself post playing days. You almost expected their rivalry to transcend the court and Kobe would continue be a public figure for several more decades. RIP Kobe & Gigi and all the other souls on that helicopter
It would suck if this show gets cancelled because the guys are hilarious and Ernie is the perfect fit with them. That’s the reason a lot of us love TNT games over ESPN not due to anything else.
100% agree. I look forward to Tuesday and Thursday nights because of the tnt presentation. ESPN seems to be just give it to Michael Wilson and Stephan a and then they talk crap about a certain a team or player
I'm just glad to see that there are 4 other people who also caught that. I was listening thinking, "Am I trippin? I know ain't no way he played with Jordan and was born in 83?"
Inside the NBA was the only pre/post-game show I looked forward to. The synergy between Shaq, Ernie, Kenny, and Sir Charles was unique and they kept the audience engaged like no other. I can’t say that about other networks like NBC, ABC, or ESPN, just to name a few.
Especially gone fishing segments. Inside the nba is the only time i dont press mute (if im watching at home) or get up and walk away to the bathroom or outside if im at a bar. Turner Sports will be making a huge mistake if they cancel inside the nba

As always, well done FlemLo! My 10yr old daughter who is not a basketball fan at all loves Inside the nba. Watches pre and post game just for these guys. Absolute legends on TV. It will be a sad day if the show ends.
I really truly don't think NBA fans get why Ernie is not leaving. The way we talk about Walt Frazier or Kevin Harlan is what Ernie Johnson is to baseball and the MLB. Ernie is LITERALLY one of the best baseball commentators in the entire sport and if TNT loses the rights to the NBA, they are just going to have him do more baseball.
To be real, TNT losing the NBA is a major casualty of cord cutting. Since the demand to see sports on non-cable platforms is high, we’ll be seeing more cable channels lose their rights to major sports to OTA TV and streaming in the near future. With cord cutting on the rise, cable channels no longer have the strength to hold on to their precious things they’ve had for many years. I love Inside the NBA, don’t get me wrong, but the decline of cable TV is the main reason sports is moving to other platforms moving forward. So NBA on TNT is the major victim of that decline. I’ll miss Inside the NBA so much when it does end.
@@voiceofreason2674that’ll get better over time as they learn and when all the people working for the cable companies need new jobs plus just needing to be the best and hold the contract
Ironically, streaming services are starting to model their services like how cable used to be. Instead of flipping channels on the TV, now you’re basically flipping channels on a streaming service
Cord cutting is not a bad thing. Cable was gouging customers for years and acting as gatekeepers. Now they can no longer do that. TNT isnt a casualty, If they wanted to they could pivot just as others had.

wow, great work on this video. I'm new to your channel and can't wait to see more of your content. I can see the big effort you've put into this video, might have taken you a lot of hours to research all those informations. I like how you go in detail and show the whole situation, why it is where it is now, what had to change and how it changed. I also like how you integrate every member of the current show. Thank you, I really like those stories. Me personally I like the show but on some occassions I think it goes a little bit to far with freedom what they're allowed to do. I mean, per instance Charles is about to be totally honest and real about the situation on whatever topic and in the same moment Shaq (or someone else) throughs something against him (water, a Ball, or whatever) or just makes a joke about it. I'm not saying this doesn't have a spot. It has a spot but sometimes maybe it has to be a little less of that funny stuff. But maybe that's just me. What I really like is to see that even after all those years they're off the court as a professional Basketball player, they still kept there skills (look at the guy which challenged kenny with the 3 point contest in the studio). I enjoy the show and I hope it will continue even after 2025 and a new owner.

Almost to a million bro! Well deserved!
Bro this video is great! You in the way to greatness
Damn, the fellas dunk on Kenny with love, but Flem definitely gave Kenny his flowers.❤️ this was dope!!!
wow, great work on this video.
I enjoy the show and I hope it will continue even after 2025 and a new owner.
great quality and production video
This was an amazing video!!!! Keep going!!!!
You have a beautiful way with words; A great Story Teller
Good drop, always put out good content, but this was some real reporter commentary 👌🏾
RIP to my favorite sports show of all time. Legendary cast and crew. Thank you for paying your respects my man. Awesome video!
Edit: after American gladiators and now this? you better believe I just subbed. 🔥 content
Thank you for this one. I didn’t know when but now I have an idea of when this will happen. Content is always researched, well thought out, and spoken. Versatility. My Eagles will see ya week 8 tho. Friendly wager?
Im not gonna lie, if this show is cancelled, i might check out of basketball for awhile.
Another banger bro! Inside the NBA is pure gold no way it just dies as network battle fodder no way!
Rich people problems. What's next?
Always the easiest way to tell someone is broke 🤦🏿♂️
Love your videos glad your branching to NBA hope you do more your videos are amazing.
Great great video! In fact Flem has never made a bad one IMHO. One small point that I hate myself for saying but cannot seem to resist... Kenny Smith born in 1965. '83 was when he arrived at UNC, replacing Jimmy Black at the point.
Great video!!! Thank you for the breakdown
Love your story telling bro ❤
I forgot how great Kenny's career was because of all the jokes about him
A young ernie Johnson is wild😂😂
