This hotel looks worthy of consideration, but the lack of a table is kind of a deal breaker for me. Where am I supposed to eat my pizza lol. Another good vid
I got into Orlando two days early and stayed there in August with my family and I didn’t have any issues at all besides the Parking, which is completely odd. It is a busy road you do hear sirens, but the room is clean and it’s gigantic and it wasn’t that bad.
It's nicer than I thought it would be. I had considered the Red Lion on our last trip to Disney. The room is really large and I like the empty space for a stroller, wheelchair or even to put our suitcases there. I also like the extra sink by the door to do my hair in the morning without tying up the bathroom. Good review, thank you.
I remember when they turned this hotel into the Red Lion about 5 years ago. They had to do a lot of work to the building and I always thought the rooms were already already and just weird. I will call this a cheap clean basic hotel. The hotel isn't the best or the fanciest but it can be had for pretty cheap.
The wife and I stayed there a couple of years ago when we decided to extend our stay in Orlando. We were staying at Orange Lake Resort, but I booked a room for a night there for about $115. Not too bad for the price and the pool was nice. The lazy river is a bit shallow for my taste. I'm thinking the pool may be heated is why folks were swimming when you were there.
Perhaps a review of Celebration Suites at Old Town. Me and my friends used to call it roach motel and would stay there each year we went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. It’s improved tons since we used to stay there in like 2005
I stayed here for one night once since I got into town a day earlier than I originally planned and needed a stop gap to get to my Disney hotel the next night. I had no real complaints but probably wouldn't do any kind of extended stay here.

You're like the Walk With Me Tim of the Kissimmee / Orlando area!
I only wish to be like him! 😂 But thanks

That's definitely a pretty nice place for the money on I Drive. I was expecting some atrocities to be going on. 😅
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as some of the previous hotels , but it's much better than I expected
The mattress cover is called an encasment that are meant to stop bed bugs in their tracks.

Used to be a Ramada, each room had a private balcony, idk why they spent all that $$ replacing them all with wall & a window.

Wifi has been down off and on all Christmas days.

I like Shining Light motel. Have you critiqued that one?

That's not really a nightly hotel anymore. They just really do monthly rates I think.
