- We had our Honda Hornet Engine Sound Problem. The Engine used to make a kharrrr kharrrr sound. So we looked into the internet for the Engine Sound Issue & Solution. At last we went to the authorized service center of the Honda Show Room where we bought our bike from. And finally we got our Honda Hornet Engine Noise Problem Solved.

Hi.. when this khar sound comes from bike .? Is it during accelerating the bike

India থেকে, আমারও Hornet 160R bike এ সব সময় tik tik tik tik sound হয়। Service Center এর লোকেরা সেটা কখনোই শুনতে পায়না, ওরা বলে ঠিকই আছে।
সব যায়গায় একই অবস্তা ভাই, luckily আমি warranty claim করতে পারসিলাম। সবাই পারে না।

Camshaft install karne bade noise band hojayaga kya
when I installed them the noise stopped. Now I am feeling there might be some tikling noise that has just started after a 560km day long tour. but I took necessary breaks to cool down the engine that day. I will go for the next service. I can give u update info after I consult the service center.

After how many kilometres, yo got this problem?
it occured on 14000 km. Alhamdulillah Now it's running 37000km without any issues.

I have the same problem,but when the engine is heated the sound becomes less,how much does it cost,I need to do so too
yes when the engine heated the noise used to go down. I got it free of cost by Engine warranty claim here in Bangladesh. Where are you from??
It is valve / tappet sound . When the engine is heated the valves expand and there will be no noice but when the engine cools the valves will shrink and the tappet clearance also . So you should adjust the tappet clearance.
Total cost?
I got everything by warranty claim. SO I didn't need to pay for the parts. But if I couldn't fulfill their requirements then total cost for parts I could have paid around tk 4000/- plus service charge .
