I love how through some miracle whenever these guys play a game it feels like the pacing of progression and uncovering secrets is altered specifically for them. It makes it very fun to watch because once they do realize there was a massive monster in the area they repeatedly went through, a whole new kind of thallassophobia kicks in.
16:34 YES FINALLY! My favourite Below Zero creature. Yes, they're carnivores but they're so damn cute and they look so silly flopping about on land..... and when you feed them they'll start following you @.@
3:53 *Robin Hood:* you called? 9:02 and that's what you get for standing right under something heavy. 13:12 here it comes! :D 13:59 that mouth is the beast's namesake. 21:28 seriously, now? it's been on-screen for 3 seconds; NOW you see it? anyway, gentlemen: meet... the Chelicerate. 21:56 yes, it was. i recognized the large segmented body. i'm surprised it didn't see you, let alone attack you. 23:23-23:27 yes - although it's that of a juvenile. what throated you was an adult. you know, now the Seatruck reminds me of Emery from Chuggington.
I loved that bit of early foreshadowing when he first built the base out there, and it finally paid off! Of course, no Stasis Rifle here to cheese the scary horrors. Only good old fashioned Thermoknife, Prawn Suit, and Seatruck ramming for putting the hurting on anything and everything remotely threatening!
I want josh to see an adult vent garden, I think he would love that because it's so cool, especially swimming up into it and also they need to ride a glow whale before this series is done
A couple things that'll save you a bit of annoyance: The orange bars on top of the seatruck modules can indeed be used to detach and move them around without the main section. So if you want to rearrange or drop off a module, you can do so easily. They reattach just like if you backed into them. If you combine a Preston's Plant leaf (the ones in Marguerite's greenhouse) and a pepper, it makes what's easily the best food in the game. It restores a lot of food, water, and heat while only taking up one slot in your inventory. Both are plantable in a base. Though, who can resist a *big nut*?
5:35 I now choose to believe Josh and Cotton randomly decide to wear parts of silly costumes, and talk about them in their randomness on the basis no one will believe it, just as an extra layer of "these people won't grasp the truth" f@#kery.
Someone needs to tell josh that he can use the orange bar on top of the Seatruck modules to easily connect them. Speaking of my own experience its a lot of lining up work to perfectly back up in to them😂
hey different strokes for diferent folks lol Steve Smith is really hitting the big time with his own sea of cherry jello. 4:06 lol all hail the man in gauze, he has the best 3 plagues to inflict on you. man early 2000s cartoons were beutifully weird. 16:44 "they'll be bouncing here and there and everywhere. mass destruction that's beyond compare."
Josh you need to grow Preston's Plant, there's a fabricator recipe that mixes a leaf from it with a Fevered pepper and it's the best food in the game! It completely refills your heat gauge, gives 80 food, and 30 water!
A little tip: If you pin a crafting recipe then the sea monkey swill try to bring you raw materials that you need for those recipes. There's some material like gold that they only give you if you have a recipe that needs it pinned
Water is not wet, the word "Wet" is used to describe a solid object's ability to retain a fluid against and or inside the material. Water is not, it is simply water. Loved the video as always though ♥
i killed the big shrimp by ramming into it with the afterburner module. that could be fun to see someone else do great video guys i love the subNautica series.
I don't think i will ever unsee the fabricator has udders thanks cotton. Also the yellow bar on top of the seatruck modules you can grab and move them that way so you don't almost break them everytime
Actually, guys, the red leviathan that you just encounter was actually near your base It's a miracle how it didn't notice you but still, i suggest you should move your base.
Josh, YOU INDEED CAN PILOT THE MODULES! Go to the Yellow Bar on top, grab it, and swim it to the back of your seatruck. Stop nearly destroying the modules you build!
Finally! The Scram im waiting for.. 😆 But to be honest though, i kinda feel bad seing josh scream on the top of his lungs for our amusement. But hey, you gotta keep goin' and play the game. 😁
Not going to lie I feel like th hostile creatures are best handled by "don't look at it Joshie, just keep moving" and worst handled by stairing at it and crying about the fact that it is moving.
Ackhem…. Water is wet. Because when water attaches to something it is wet (I.e. a wet towel or wash cloth). And water Molecules (H2O) are Cohesive by nature. Meaning they attach to each other. Therefore making each other wet. So yes water is Wet.
Got some bad news about the Stasis Rifle: It was seen as over powered by the devs, so it's not included with BZ. Also, you think the woman who killed a Reaper with a jagged shard of her base ... needs a new Prawn to take anything back? XD
And here's the chelicerate. Grand. A transparent attempt to ape the Reaper Leviathan that's worse in terms of sound design, AI, and every other aspect of the fear factor. This shrimp is at worst a minor annoyance and at best a delicious appetizer.
Incidentally, you should probably have an entire large growbed full of Preston's Plant next to an entire growbed of the Fevered Peppers. The results of combining the two may startle you.
If this was Subnautica 1 I would say that you can’t escape the reaper, no matter how lucky you are. But I guess since this is Below Zero I can say that you can’t escape the murder shrimp, no matter how lucky you are.
Josh your fear of virtual underwater animals is hilarious but I'm starting to feel bad for cotton. Just go down in the water and stop being a pansy, if you're going to scream in fear then do it facing the enemy hahahhahaha come on now bro
Josh: *Screams of pure terror as the Chelicerate shoves the Seatruck down its throat.*
Cotton: "Oh look, a shrimp. :)"
I love how Josh’s reaction to being grabbed is to turn the lights on and off repeatedly rather than use the tool that will make it go away immediately
Panic is a hell of a drug.
Cant wait till he sees shadow~
@@kittyclaire He's seen his shadow plenty of times and has been scared by it also plenty of times lol. *Yes I know who you're referring to*
Maybe if it’s eyes were in its mouth that would have worked
We finally found that shadow Josh was so scared of 😆 And yes, THAT passed the base all that time ago 😈
Now we can see the shadow that josh will be scared of
Oh god I just remembered-
But what I want to know is where's the shadow?
Oh wow, I got a heart? I’m honored 😄🤩
Josh, squealing in terror meanwhile....with Cotton.
"Hmmm yes yes, fascinating. 🧐"

Can't wait to see Josh's reaction to the ice worm.
Trust me, this goofy lobster squid thing is nowhere near the scariest creature in the game
It kinda is.
One is above in area you wont visit a lot and the other one is in an isolated cave.
It's just such a letdown compared to the Reaper. I used to taunt these things so hard they would just swim away.
I vastly prefer them to reapers tbh. Especially the ones out yonder.
Since they have encountered a Chelicerate now, I wounder how Josh's reaction would be if they found a Void Chelicerate
3:53 *Robin Hood:* you called?
9:02 and that's what you get for standing right under something heavy.
13:12 here it comes! :D
13:59 that mouth is the beast's namesake.

well that was a fun way to meet the Chelicerate, and to discover how to sea truck without heavily damaging the modules
5:35 I now choose to believe Josh and Cotton randomly decide to wear parts of silly costumes, and talk about them in their randomness on the basis no one will believe it, just as an extra layer of "these people won't grasp the truth" f@#kery.
I love Josh’s perfectly rational reactions to every sea beast attack when hes been looking at for at least 5 minuets
*Sees thumbnail*
IT IS TIME! I have no idea how you managed to avoid the Cheli up til this point. But they're goofy AF
Wait till he meets the others.
@@frozenbear0991 XD Yeah. The one by the fumeroles is my favourite 'cause it eats the cryptosucchus. They're so damn loud @.@
Jumbo shrimp time!
Someone needs to tell josh that he can use the orange bar on top of the Seatruck modules to easily connect them. Speaking of my own experience its a lot of lining up work to perfectly back up in to them😂
Goddammit he damaged it again
fr
11:46 I’m ever so slightly disappointed that Jennifir is not a fir tree
5:47 If you adjourned the court, you would be breaking the law... literally!
I'm so funny.
I wonder when Josh will learn that you can just grab the bar on top of the module to move each individually and attach them without damage 😂
21:45 the true murder prawn: the chelicarte
I think sea truck from an outside perspective would be a hilarious experience of no clip spinning.
I enjoy joshes screaming. Keeps me alive
Ahh yes, the only scary fish in the entire game. No others are left to discover.
12:19 Buildup
13:10 Suspense
21:21 Climax
when i saw Josh making the Aquarium module he just needs the bedroom module
hey different strokes for diferent folks lol
Steve Smith is really hitting the big time with his own sea of cherry jello.
4:06 lol all hail the man in gauze, he has the best 3 plagues to inflict on you. man early 2000s cartoons were beutifully weird.
16:44 "they'll be bouncing here and there and everywhere. mass destruction that's beyond compare."
They were really starting to get cocky so naturally they had to get kicked in the throat
Yes!! They found my favorite creature!!
THE ANOMALOCARIS SEALS!!
18:23 Baldur's Gate urges rising

They havent even begun to explore the "joy and safety" of dry land.
Advice: The scan for the big aquarium is back in the Mercury II, so if you want to hatch your eggs you'll need to go back.
Poor josh looks like he just had a near cardiac from that. Can't wait for him to get a stasis rifle to safely scan it
Water is not wet, the word "Wet" is used to describe a solid object's ability to retain a fluid against and or inside the material.
Water is not, it is simply water.
Loved the video as always though ♥
There is no Stasis Rifle in this one, but there is a Prawn with Drill and Grapple, and A truck to Ram with
10:06 STOP BACKING INTO THE MODULES AND USE THE HANDLES ON TOP IF YOU DON’T WANT TO USE YOUR REPAIR TOOL JOSH
i killed the big shrimp by ramming into it with the afterburner module. that could be fun to see someone else do
great video guys i love the subNautica series.
Love your content guys amazing video like always, keep up the good work
19:22 Holy s@#t, an adult Skyrim child!
It's even funnier the second time!
I don't think i will ever unsee the fabricator has udders thanks cotton. Also the yellow bar on top of the seatruck modules you can grab and move them that way so you don't almost break them everytime
The game tortures Josh and Josh tortures Cotton. The circle of life!
Im glad to see they met giant shrimpy
I think they're gonna need a bigger sub.
That’ll happen when Josh learns to use the module’s handlebars.
0:41 You’re both wrong. That’s obviously a Biclops; zing ChalkZone reference.
Actually, guys, the red leviathan that you just encounter was actually near your base It's a miracle how it didn't notice you but still, i suggest you should move your base.
I never actually encountered this is in my playthorugh

Now that is a wonderfully developed Leviathan, imagine next game we get something like this but is actually peaceful.
Not going to lie I feel like th hostile creatures are best handled by "don't look at it Joshie, just keep moving" and worst handled by stairing at it and crying about the fact that it is moving.
You finally met the reaper’s cousin. 😂
I need to tell cotton a certain thing, that being you can in fact put glow whales in tanks by finding their eggs
That thing is a certified Rahkshi, I swear
I can’t wait till they met ultimate squid thing that sucks the face of the truck lol
THEY FINALLY MET THE MURDER SHRIMP
Finally guys.
We got the sequel to i want to cry.
We did it boys.
He found it guys!!! TODAYS THE DAY!!!
Funny enough that cheilrate leviathan is actually modeled after a giant shrimp yeah so the shrimp cocktail is eating you now
I do hope you return to Margs main base again :) There miiight be something left for you guys to explore.
Josh, I want to warn you in advance. I won’t spoil any specifics, but just know that Leviathans aren’t all limited to the water.
WATER IS WET ... nuff said XD
You can rest easy, the shrimpy boi a.k.a. the chelicerate is smaller than a reaper and do the exact same thing as the reaper.
Ackhem…. Water is wet. Because when water attaches to something it is wet (I.e. a wet towel or wash cloth). And water Molecules (H2O) are Cohesive by nature. Meaning they attach to each other. Therefore making each other wet. So yes water is Wet.

Wonder if they’re ever gonna figure out you can name lockers since Subnautica 1
I'm just waiting for land and the long boy.
Well. I wonder how long until they realize that they can pilot the individual modules.
Hey! They did!
*Please Use The Yellow Bars On The Modules!*
And here's the chelicerate. Grand. A transparent attempt to ape the Reaper Leviathan that's worse in terms of sound design, AI, and every other aspect of the fear factor. This shrimp is at worst a minor annoyance and at best a delicious appetizer.

Ah yes, the reaper of this game
shrimp go brrr
"Get your strokes in." Meanwhile the character is a female.
When will Josh learn you can move the modules by grabbing the top of them.
Now I'm waiting for them to meet the other guy 😏
Ride the glow whales
🧡
Sorry to break it to you Josh but the Stasis rifle isn't in Below Zero 😅
Ok now I wanna see josh and cotten play gta online xD
Have you been to the Ecological Dead zone?
I wonder how they're going to react to the fact that land is not safe in this game.
You can ride the whale
How much time until Gordon Ramsey sees this?
Josh your fear of virtual underwater animals is hilarious but I'm starting to feel bad for cotton. Just go down in the water and stop being a pansy, if you're going to scream in fear then do it facing the enemy hahahhahaha come on now bro
