I visited St Louis a few years ago. I got to check out the arch and I was exploring the zoo when a massive thunderstorm came in (when I say massive, I mean light poles in the Wal-Mart parking lot were being struck by lightning and there were 2 inches of water in our campsite when we got back). The power at the zoo actually went out so we had to leave, and we never had time to go back and see the rest of it unfortunately. If you're ever in St Louis again, I recommend a restaurant called Pappy's. It's in kind of a sketchy area (to be fair a lot of St Louis is), but it's totally worth it. Best beef brisket I've ever had in my life.
Loved seeing you explore one of my favorite childhood vacation spots. I grew up about 2 hours southeast of St. Louis in Illinois. With the Zoo and the Science museum being free and entertaining, my parents gladly took me & my brothers almost every other year. We also loved the City Museum, the Arch with the Lewis & Clark museum underground at the Arch and of course Six Flags just 15 mins. away. I would love names of all the restaurants you experienced. I'll rewatch and see if I just missed the name. Also can't wait until the behind the scenes vid.
Ok I'm from St. Louis and its not really a tourist 'spot'. If you ever go back here some things to do 1. Spend all day at the city museum trust me I've been there like 100 times and probably haven't seen all of it 2. The arch is sooooo boring so don't bother going back 3. try toasted ravioli instead of bbq and don't bother with Imo's Pizza (I know shocking) 4. Explore more of the city, there's great shops and restaurants 5. Try going to tower grove park as well its really pretty

J_ Squared2020 the city museum was where my school went almost every year for field trips 😂 it got boring but the slides and caves were always fun
My childhood also but had to move because of crime rate over there
