How it feels to play Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones in 2024

- Today I play another lovely prince of persia game from childhood, The Two Thrones. This one is really good, and don't worry I don't judge the controls that badly, I first played this on the wii...

I’m glad, I still need to cover warrior within but I’ve never plays that one so it’ll be new to me

I wouldn't say they killed them. The series just genuinely had a pretty well end to it, which Assassin's Creed didn't, ironically enough
SOT, WW and T2T scream for proper remake. I played each multiple times but Warrior Within is the best out of 3. It is in my 4th place of best games of all times that I played.

These old games are pure gold for me even today and they will be in the future. yesterday I played sands of Time again.

Always found it weird how slick and beautiful his cinematic face is, similarly to his beta look, meanwhile the in-game model is just endless anger, even in WW he wasn't that angry looking

There's this horrible widescreen bug where the moment the prince gets hurt the screen goes crazy. The gui turns into lines and stuff.. nearly made the game unplayable

I had 2 bugs i succed but second bug.. it can't fix i see becouse is standing and after 1 sec he falls down and die and i can't pass this so i deleted
I owned this game on the Wii lol I loved it. Replayed it over 20 times.
That’s how I first played this game, Prince of Persia Rival Swords! Once I got to the end of it I could never beat the vizer or however you spell his name

I tried to play sands of time and played 30minutes but I couldn't play more. Camera angle and jump was hard. But I will try later but I don't know when. The music is always awesome
It’s like that on all the PC ports haha, even Forgotten Sands camera control isn’t good. But it got more bearable when I turned the sensitivity down
Hey, at least it launches for you! The launcher's hardware compatibility check just tells me my Ryzen R9 3900X is not supported. It says "Unknown AMD processor" and the launch button is disabled. I had to use my reverse-engineering skills to patch the game executable to make it not care for the launcher.

This weekend I installed me too prince of persia the sands of time and prince of persia the two thrones and they run very good on PC with win10.
I hope soon ubisoft publish prince of persia the sand of times remake I see normally come in 2024

They really did the Prince dirty in Warrior Within and The Two Thrones with his 3rd and 4th regular strike animation and doing away with his 5th, 6th and 7th animation. He was so graceful in The Sands of Time 😅 But I guess that's just the shift in tone.
sudden realise These games were made for pure fun and no propaganda shit but warrior within set the bar too high and this one wasnt up to the mark but still a great game though /
True the music in warrior within was just epic.
PCSX2 emulation is the way to go with these games and for a lot of other games from this era

Theres ways to play as dark prince from beginning to end makes it exceptionally more fun, same with warrior withins's sand wrath

I've replayed all 3 games recently directly on PCSX2, didn't even bother to try the PC ports.
The PC Ports honestly aren't that bad after you install a fix or two.
