If it weren't for ticktak, you could have seen them for less than $50 a few years ago (as an opening act here in the states). Their popularity was already on the rise, but i think it was intensified in part by this and covid (bc tiktok is how kids discover new music nowdays apparently? Idk i don't use it, I'm an elder millennial i still use yt and the radio). Personally for me, in '19 i was going through tough times and in a bit of musical dry spell until i heard ST. It was a catalyst for me. It happened to be a serendipitous moment and their music hit me in all the right places. I hear many similar stories to this as well all the time when i talk to other fans. Seriously though, his voice and his lyrics are so good. The whole band is just so talented. This is a band that other talented musicians go home to listen to. WORSHIP
I know this is probably going to be one of those takes that people really disagree with but I don't like them. I listen to over half their songs and I thought it was just okay. I didn't think there was anything special or groundbreaking or captivating with their music. It's just okay. Zero idea why people are so hell-bent on thinking this man is so good. Until they do something like what Imminence did, i dont wanna hear shit about how theyre "groundbreaking".
i set the playback speed to 5 on the offering drum vids.🤘🥴
