Took a shot at some Electrolysis on a heavily rusted 2 stroke expansion pipe and I have to say, I am pleased with the results!

Does that get rid of the carbon deposits aswell?

Unfortunately it didn't do much for the carbon deposits. The solution washed out some but there was still a decent amount in there.
