I can't wait to find some more random builds in this game and see if I can fully break it and get the $1,000,000 bounty.

@@SeaIbass Yeah, that upgrade is such a trap. You get 100 base damage and after that it is only downsides.
Losing health when dashing + using all dashes at once was definitely an unexpected downfall of this build... it had very great potential otherwise but it was funny when DF died because of it 😂
he likely thougth he would stop losing health when dashing when he is at the max of 10 damage boosts
if he got that upgrade that heals you when you dash it would have been op as fuck

I think you forgot that you take 1 damage each time you dash. So the multiple dash all at once was killing you more than the enemies, lol.
That was a crazy build tho, you always seem to find some way to break games in the most interesting and entertaining ways possible.
To be fair, this game is quite easy to break. You saw how frequently the deputy-upgrades repeated towards the end, because he got most of them. Sadly getting that 1 damage per dash instead of 1 heal per dash broke his neck.
Df: we are delt damage every time we dash.

I would love to see a cooldown based build, and I wonder if the armor ability could be combined with low cooldowns to make you almost immortal
Hmmmm maybe
each card you lower the cooldowns lowers the percentage of what you have. gradually lowers less and less percentage. Also with quite a bit of shield cooldown reduction, combined with the ability to heal you can hold out for a long time.
the cooldown builds are better with aoe effects like on-dash effects and the DOT aura, combined with aoe size upgrades
It's really good of you use another hero: ollin.

That guy's my favorite one. I try to build slower projectiles and slow-projectiles aura, then I run away from my projectiles until they become a singular mass. Dodge over a boss and every projectile you've thrown hits them, resulting in them dying instantly.
I call it the orb of annihilation.
had a run where I got unkillable with nigel, stacking damage and crit, getting the orbiting shuriken with 100% faster projectiles, if you then get crits causes explosions, damaging and slowing AoE, you basically have to try hard to die (sadly didnt die on my run, game lagged out and crashed around 400k bounty :( )
Aren't the shurikens supposed to vanish after hitting 5 enemies? How does that one work?
@@Schilani yes, but as long as they didnt hit 5 they will follow you, you can also raise the number by the pen if crit, or just additional pens / bounces

tips: the character he played gets range from area effect upgrades, also he cannot get bouncing but his projectiles do NOT have infinite piercing so he does benefit from that upgrade

You have to love how DF can make an awesome build by accident. He just picks the one that looks fun and before you know it, his computer is about to die.
This build feels incredibly broken and I'm living for it
It seems like the projectile slow on this character is actually pretty good. It creates a swarm of throwing stars around you on top of the ones spinning around you. There is almost always a projectile blocking enemies from getting to you.
The way he got SO close to the 50% Cooldowns needed to unlock the mage character, but then never took another cooldown reduction upgrade again and then beat the boss so it wouldnt count anyway... it hurt my soul a little, but the damage was still worth it, lol

AoE makes his shuriken go out farther before coming back. Also, it's blindingly obvious in the stat screen that your pierce is set to 5, meaning you can always use more.
Pierce caps out, (allegedly at 5) though he could still stack Bounce after that. Bounce works as normal if you run out of Pierce going out, but works as extra Pierce during return.
@@GremlinSciences pierce caps at 10, it merely starts at 5 for this hero - the projectiles can bounce but only once it reaches its max pierce targets

If you have that upgrade that slows your enemy's then try picking up at least 2-3 or 4 of that upgrade where your pick up range and abilities increase with this build and you might slow them down in a far away distance

I enjoy DF's videos. It was fun seeing all the shurikens flying everywhere. Was a little sad seeing him pass up on the pierce with crits. Could have had a literal infinitie sawblade rotating around him! But, enjoyable nonetheless.
I'd love to see DF do a "rare draft" in this game, where he has to take the rarest upgrade. The only time he gets a choice is when multiple upgrades are of the rarest quality.
With that charecter, area of effect increases his thrown distance, having the faster projectiles really helps when they get really far out. My favorite build for him is large area of effect, fire behind, triple shot, and Mighty Mezcal Staff
You have an aura slowing things down by 50% and speeding them up by 50%....that means they are moving at normal speed.
50% of 150% is 75%

The aura that slows projectiles also slows your own projectiles within it.

Take the extra pierce with this character, it has a limit to the amount of pierce, i believe it can start with 5 pierces before the projectile breaks. 5:51 it breaks and doesnt come back.

Nigels weapon has 5 pierce points at the start, if you get more pierce it is very useful, and with the tornado, 100% criting and the shoot is piercing unlimted while criting you have a tornado of 20 shuriken permanatly at that is fun :D

I like how DF got an upgrade where he had a lightning around him, but five seconds later he was wondering what the blue aura around him is.
Bro seemed to forget he was damaging himself from the dashes
DF you can turn off damage numbers and explosions in the settings. it helps mitigate the lag

The "reduce cooldown of abilities" one seems to also increase attack speed.
It seems like that item that slowed down all projectiles also slowed down your own projectiles.
I just realized, with the infinite piercing, the slowed projectiles hit the same enemy multiple times
The more damage the better.
That tornado that takes some of your projectiles and spines them around you is the most op thing in the game for that caracter. You have infinite pierse😎😎😎😎
If you have a crit multiplier upgrade, you should probably also try to get 100% crit chance.
I made the garlic aura while making the CD almost 0s it did about 200k DPS but the creeps were immortal I tried to kill them for 20min but no one was dying its weird in late game
I managed to get lucky and got a high movespeed + "lightning strikes every 2 meteres traveled" buff, I could just run in a circle and everything would die before it came on screen in the end haha
Also, try a cooldown build with the cactus guy and take things like "shoots projectiles every 6 seconds" and loads of dash damage, it's a lot of fun

heres a potentially extremely OP build get emergency kit then lower ur cooldowns so you always heal when hit making you invincible
The AoE boost adds max range for that character. Also bounce happens after the last pierce and this character has 5 pierce to start
The coffee is foreshadowing a future issue

Found out when playthign this character bounce does take effect its just that his projectiles only bounce after about 5 pierces base i believe. and area increases his range.

For the later half of the video there were so many projectiles, my video quality was so bad I could count the pixels
tip- if you chose that your projectiles pierce when they crit than your tornado surrounding you would have been infinite.
Playthrough: restart as many times as you need until you get a legendary. From then on, you have to take the rarest upgrade you find. If two or more are equal in rarity, pick whichever you choose.
The speed increase from standing still won't be reset if you dash instead of just walking around.
My best build was the “Spazz”… extremely fast, backwards shots, triple shot, piercing and 100% crit

Yeah, that damage-on-dash plus the slowing projectiles aura killed you the most.
Rotating projectile, max crit and crits pierce means all the rotating projectiles are infinite. Throw in aoe, cool down, eventually things won't get close enough to even shoot their shots
