Saw them on this most recent tour, one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Ben has impeccable touch on the guitar, they all do on their respective instruments, and that’s what sets them apart. Even as a three piece without keys, they carried the songs extremely well. Each player was loud and articulate, and the sound was still fully realized. It’s amazing what musical ability coupled with a worthy vision can do, truly hypnotic and powerful. Acceptance of our finite existence is a theme carried throughout psychedelic music, and as a result, it imparts the opportunity for reverence and reverie in each passing moment. For me and I suspect many others, a beautiful reminder of this inherent truth is what ATW provides.
Best band out today really. They have not made one bad song, every song is worthy of letting play. It is like Led Zeppelin, athough not my favorite, but the greatest band of all time because they never made bad songs. They had their Hot Dog moments and Presence was not ALL bad but still...these guys?? Every song they make is a good to great song, many great ones as well in such short time. I have tried to tell people you are missing a quiet part of history here. We are witnessing the rise of the best band in the world today.
Great tune! for me, it has an old ZZ Top feel to it,with the later part being very ABB - ish jam...all while being who they are and who we have all grown to love as fans! Thank you All Them Witches!
Everything Ben does has Allman's written all over it. He approaches every song with "how would Duane approach this? What would he play?" The man is a Duane Allman understudy if I ever heard one. Go listen to him play Statesboro Blues note for note. It's incredible.
Just great. Guitar is epic. Remember when rock bands would have cuts like this on their records? I haven't heard new blues like this since early White Stripes.
Yah man! Another great one from ATW... Good Chillin tunes on a lockdown Sunday. Definitely going into the JGOLD STANDARD music Stash... Has to be Frosty as Fuck to be in there Brothas and Sistas!! Oh WoW.. After I post that I go and look at the info.. And it was published on the day.. Not year Of my wife dying.Weird sometimes when that day comes up..
Can you name which Allman songs sound similar? (I'm asking honestly, not in the sarcastic youtube comment kind of way). All I'm hearing is early Fleetwood Mac.
Can someone pleeeeaaaase give me the tabs to this amazing song. Please. There‘s nothing online. And I just fucking love this Song. It’s like my second favorite of all songs I know. I NEED TABS PLEASE I CRY EVERYTIME BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I CANT FIND ANY TABS TO THIS AMAZING PIECE OF ART
By the time I got back to my mountain Was uninvited from the harvest feast Torn up and tired, so dejected Hit the road to shuffle my feet Ain't that a shame? Ain't that a cryin' shame? Ain't that a shame? The time I got back to my cypress home You were gone, no more in my deep grove Note you left said you understood By and by and I ain't no good Ain't that a shame? Ain't that a cryin' shame? Ain't that a shame? Ain't that a shame? Ain't that a cryin' shame? Ain't that a shame?
There are so many good things to say about this band I don't even know where to start.

All Them Witches is the second coming of Christ for music.

Someone's been listening to their Allman Brothers albums
Can you name which Allman songs sound similar? (I'm asking honestly, not in the sarcastic youtube comment kind of way). All I'm hearing is early Fleetwood Mac.
@@Vortal_Cord It has Dreams all over it and some of their breaks in Whipping Post, Les Brers in A Minor and Liz Reed off the top of my head
Yeah, they probably spent hours studying and determining WHO can we sound like!!
!
🖤
🤠
I hear some Duane Allman in there!
Yeah, they probably spent hours studying and determining WHO can we sound like!!
I hear Tony Iommi as well.
Guitar has a definite Iommi tremelo feel.
what are the lyrics of the last verse ?
holy fuck!!
If you listen closely you can tell these guys totally were influenced by the prehistoric cavemen who invented music
I'd bet this lick came from Please Call Home by The Allman Brothers Band. It's sooo close to that opening lick
Since i’ve been loving you?
No. It's a slow blues, but all in all it's quite a different beast altogether. At least in this listener's humble ears.
Indeed
"workin' from seven...." yeah I heard it too.
❤️

Credo che il chitarrista si sia ascoltato Jerry Garcia almeno un paio di volte
Thought it was P.Green's Fleet
For a moment I thought I was listening to The Grateful Dead
May 31, 2020
must be the season of the witch
anyone else getting Dead vibes here?
Yup.
yesandFloydKeyboardsBrokeSorry
My initial thoughts were Zeppelin, but I can see Dead too.
Yes Indeed brother
Steal your face right off of your head type stuff. 💀😨🐢
They sound a bit like The Black Keys, a good delta blues band. Nice.
I know ITS a Begriff Out of the Bible. Nothing more.
