Thank you so much for doing these daily videos, Kara. You have no idea how much they've helped me. I always feel so TERRIBLE when I skip tasks or migrate constantly, like I'm screwing up the whole point of having a bullet journal (I've only been doing it a couple of months now). It's been a slight shame spiral for me, but seeing how others function with their journals, and seeing that it's not at all uncommon or abnormal to get overwhelmed by busy days helps me to chill out and get some perspective. Thank you thank you thank you.
I know it has to be alot of work to film and edit these videos everyday, but I just wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed them. You have given so much inspiration on so many things that I thought I would never try but now seeing the daily use, it looks possible that I could do them too. Thank you for your time.
I've come from a constant procrastinator to having organized a budget for myself, paid off several bills and become more productive at work ...all because watching how organized you are made me feel like a slacker haha
Kara, I have the same problem with felt tip pens. Recently, Sakura released a Micron with a plastic nib called Micron PN and it became my favorite pen ever. I recommend it!
Another great video. I feel your pain with the weather; yesterday it was almost 70 degrees and today it is 36 degrees and two days from now we are supposed to be at 70 degrees again. Very schizophrenic weather on the East coast.
Have or will you post a video on your Miracle Morning Routine? I know the basics but I am curious about what affirmations/visualizations and tools for meditation you are using.
I find the Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen have really awesome ink. But they wear down too fast for me. I use the brush-tipped ones for doodling and drawing. For writing I switched to Staedtler Pigment Liners. They are more expensive than Faber Castell Pitt Artist if you by them as single pens (about 20% more) but there a lot of bundle options that make them a lot cheaper per pen (I think I paid 13 Euros for 6 pens). For color I use Staedtler Triplus Fineliners because they write forever and have a really sturdy tip. They are quite cheap (1 Euro per pen). Plus, I can buy them indivdually at the local Staedtler shop and don't have to get bundles with colors I wouldn't use..
I watched every one of your videos so far, they are really helpful and generally fun to watch :). I was just wondering why you don't go back to your weekly spread, do you only look at that once a week as a sort of planning/review thing?
Not sure if you've already done a video about it, but is there a way you could show what you do for your bi-monthly budget review (obviously, without sharing too much personal stuff). I always struggle with budgets and it would be great to get some inspiration.
I really wonder how your morning routine can take 2h ! Do you have a video about it, I'm just curious because I only have 15 between the time I wake up and the time I get out of my flat !!
have you used the staedtler fineliners under the tombow pens. I have all fineliners for my first set of pens was thinking of getting some tombow brush pens but wondering if you had already tried them for smearing. Thanks for these wonderful videos!
Kari -- I'd tried and at least for me, they don't hold up too too well. I always use my Faber Castell rather than the fineliners if they'll be highlighted. Might just be my paper or drying time, though. Hope that helps!
I was wondering, how long do your brush pens last before you have to buy a new set? I won't be purchasing them right away (as I am just starting out in bullet journaling), but was just curious if they were worth the purchase. Thanks. Love the videos! :)
Dear Kara, Firstly - congratulation of being so brave, overcoming your fear and moving into Big and Bigger! I wish you all the best. second - Could you please share which fountain pens are the clear black and clear with green that you mostly use, and that is seen in your cool pencil case? I didn't see them at the BuJo supplies video.. thanks!
Thanks Liat! Those are my TWSBI Diamond 580 fountain pens. The black and rose gold is an EF nib, and the "Christmas Green" is a F nib. Sadly, they are both discountinued colors :(
Are the Sharpie art pens different from Sharpie pens? I have some different colored Sharpie pens but they didn't come in a cool case and they don't have colored lids...but the tips look the same?
I am sure you've answered this somewhere else, but for the life of me I cannot find it -- what size nib are you using on your TWSBI pens and do you have specific ink suggestions? (I think I saw you list Pilot inks in the back of your book). Also, do you have any opinion on the TWSBI mini? Looking to purchase my first TWSBI and wanted your input :)
Hey Becca! I have the EF nib on the black pen and the F nib on the "green". As far as ink, I highly recommend Noodler's Black for everyday writing. There are SO many great inks out there. I recommend checking out gouletpens.com and maybe getting some ink samples? A great way to test out inks without buying a whole bottle :) I haven't personally tried the TWSBI mini but I've heard great things :)
Personally, I am using the Micron05 line of archival ink markers (sakuraofamerica.com/pen-archival). No smearing with TomBow... Comes in 15 different colours as well.

I really appreciate that, Leia! It's definitely a lot of extra work each day but I'm glad it's been valuable to so many :)
I just have to keep saying - I love these videos! They're so fun, so inspiring and filled with great ideas!
i love how your journaling is beautiful but actually functional! ❤❤❤
I'm loving these daily videos! Thanks for taking the time to do them.
Happy birthday Bentley!
I love these videos! I watch them every day, keep doing these!
Love the Thursday font!
I love the new font. Do you have a "go to" for places you look when you want to spice up your handlettering arsenal?
yay !
Love the update! I'm going to miss these daily videos (sniffle!)

I watch you every day here over sea :-) I love what you do. Merci et bon courage :-)
Kara! I've been loving the daily videos lately! I was wondering if you could post what color Tombows you use? I always dig your color schemes, girl!
you forgot to put in Bentley's Birthday on your daily! :)

I thought I was the only one having problems with my faber pens. Its nice to know it isn't user error. I hate it when the tips push in!
I love my Sharpies. They're a little blacker then the Pitt pens.

Love your videos ♡, Do you have any recommendations for cheap supplies for the bujo?
weather is same here with back to 60 by Monday, in KY

Laure Casanova she gets up at 5:30am on purpose and she doesn't always have to leave the house to get to work, so i think that's how she does it :)

I haven't tested them for smearing, Kari... sorry!
Boho Berry that's okay! You do an amazing job! I will let the tribe know when I test them! Just thought I would ask. Thanks for all you do!

Have you seen the cute white stand up desk at IKEA? Just saw it in a magazine

What marker pack did you buy?
Do you use an 'event' circle for both appointments and events? I noticed you used an event circle for your interviews!
Yup! I use a circle for anything with a specific time (appointments and events) :)

Hi, I'm new to your channel...you've mentioned a handwriting course that you're taking. can you please share the link info, please.
I'm not currently taking a class... are you possibly referring to the handwriting course? I'm creating that, not taking it :)
Yes, that's it. Thanks!
Ooooh, can't wait for that!
celsius or fahrenheit? about the temperature because holy **** where do u live with those temperatures and snow in february???
Farenheit :) Snow in February is very common in the northeastern United States :)
Boho Berry I live in Chicago and I had snow yesterday the 8th. It was so cold and windy.
+DeathKitty1992 I live in Chicago too!
We had snow today in Annapolis. It got really cold today
