    I love how you prioritize in general, and specifically function over pretty and real life over "I must do my bujo today!" And I also appreciate how you just go with it, like "why did I rewrite that task?" Who knows how the brain works! Go with the flow = far less unnecessary distress! I look forward to see more about your office! Congratulations!👊🏻

    I really love that you are doing this. I know it's a heck of a lot of work but your such a great inspiration. (I definitely can suggest that you do need that personal day though!)

    Could you maybe make a video about your morning routine or a flipthrough through your last journal? Love your videos BTW! ❤

      Emma Hertzen She has flip through's from all her previous journal on her channel and she probably talked about her miracle morning on her blog. Check it out anyways, her blog posts are really interesting 👍

    This has been a great series Kara! I always like to see the way people do things - especially with planning. Your walk-through has added some ideas for my bujo - take care

    I'm calling today a Snow Day here in the Midlands of UK. It hasn't snowed properly for about 4 years and we have a little flurry this morning. LOL. Still business as usual though ;)

    It makes me laugh every time when I hear Americans talk about a "snow day". I know that in your perspective, 4 to 8 inches is a lot of snow for a day, but in Quebec, it's a normal day with snow 😂

      I'm in NJ so we're no strangers to snow... but it was enough that school was cancelled as well as my husband's work... so that's a snow day :)

      I'm in New York State and 4-8 inches isn't bad at all. There needs to be a foot at least before schools start considering closing and that's not a garentee lol

    Hey, I just noticed that you never really check your weekly spread when planning dailies? What do you use it for then?

      ma rochat Tombow has a European website, you probably can find your answer there! And they seem to be on amazon pretty much everywhere.

    Loving the videos, these are helping me make my bujo more functional for me.
    Question about the calendex, I have a weekly meeting & a bi monthly meeting would you put that in your caledex? If so, since you use page #'s, how would you list that in your calendex? If not, would you list in any place else besides the weekly/daily page?

    • @Rachel-wg9co
      @Rachel-wg9co 7 років тому +1

      Jama Bailey she writes on the daily spread when she makes an appointment in the day she schedule it and then reference that page in her calendex. If they are really always on the same dates/day of the week, you could write them in your calendex, write them in the weekly spread the week they will happen and then write it on the daily spread. It depends on how religiously you check your calendex when doing said spreads. You could also do acronyms (ex. WM for weekly meeting and BMM for bi monthly meeting) and write those on the coloured square of your calendex instead of referencing a page. You can even choose a specific colour for the weekly meeting and another for the bi montly and reference it on the bottom of your calendex!

    • @Rachel-wg9co
      @Rachel-wg9co 7 років тому

      Jama Bailey bujos are adaptable, so do what you think will work best for you 😉

    • @jamabailey3529
      @jamabailey3529 7 років тому

      That is what I like about bujo's. I'm still new to this process and trying to make mine functional. Its just been recently that I have found what works but still trying to find the right balance.

    • @jamabailey3529

      I second the acronym idea mentioned. I do something similar on my Calendex with colored dots for recurring events like birthdays and holidays :)

    Kara, why are not there more subtitles in your videos?

    • @Rachel-wg9co
      @Rachel-wg9co 7 років тому +1

      Tai Teles she probably doesn't have the time to do it herself anymore, especially now that she's doing one video a day. However, it's possible for people to submit subtitles for videos if you're on a computer.

    • @taina1423
      @taina1423 7 років тому

      Rachou Meow but UA-cam automatically generates subtitles and this already helps me understand what she says and this option was not available.
      Sorry if I wrote something worng 😶

    • @Rachel-wg9co
      @Rachel-wg9co 7 років тому +1

      Tai Teles that's weird. The option is available for me 😵

    • @taina1423
      @taina1423 7 років тому +1

      Rachou Meow, sorry 😶
      I'm studying English and sometimes I don't understand some words or the speech starts to make no sense to me, so the subtitle helps me, even it's automatic.
