I absolutely love the videos you've done on histology fir beginners and basics of anatomy. It really helps making my educational journey through medicine a much smoother and enjoyable experience. Thank you for your hard work
Bicep activation isn’t limiting the chest action in bench vs fly…. If it’s stablilizing your arms for a movement that better activates the pec in a fly, the pec is better activated. This can be why abnormally weaker stabilizing muscles can cause a pseudo-weakness of the more primary muscle Needle EMG could suss that out 😸
Make sure to activate that forefinger and check out ScienceVerse’s video (linked in description)

That’s such a nice video 🙌
Much appreciated - thanks 🙏
Thank you for your helpful videos! You have a special way of explaining things! You're fun to look at as well, such a bonus. 😉
You are the best Dr
EMG measures not only which muscle is activated but also how much muscle is activated
Sir plz upload a video on ECG?
Can you make a video on muscle biopsy?
Late comer here. What EMG do you recommend for basic clinical data collection ?
Why is the mvic percentage higher than 100%, and how can this be explained?
This reminds me of the 90s ab devices that used electricity to force muscles to activate.
Won't the bicep also act as a weak adducter in the fly? At least the short head should.
Yes it would! Bicep activation was just *so* much bigger in chest pec than bench press, even if it was aiding in adduction

I use EMG decomposition in my PhD. 😉
I knew chest flys were garbage
Are you single Patrick 😝 ?
