Went on Oasis of the Seas 10 years ago. One of the best Cruise Ships my wife and I have been on.

We love Sundays!!! Kala and Ryan Olympics are so fun to watch. When Ryan made all those shots in a row, we were cheering as if we were there. 😂 Kala looked stunning in her dress, and we loved Ryan's haircut and no hat!!! The food all looked amazing, and we can't wait to see ya at Animal Kingdom!!!
Loved this video! Midwestern girl here from Ohio! Corn hole typically is played with both players throwing the bags at the same time so then you can try to block the other persons bags, also for scoring you have to get exactly 21, if you go over then your score goes down to 13. Thank you guys for sharing your content! My husband and I will be on the symphony of the seas in March and your videos are pumping us up 🥳

@@kala-ryanandkala "Tournament Rules" is a race to 21 and you are allowed to go over, until the championship, then you have to get exactly 21 like Marissa said above. Otherwise, spot on with both throwing at one time and the scoring "cancels out" each other...so you have to do better than the other; makes the game last a lot longer.
We loved the Oasis ship, found the pool deck, the Lime & Coconut bar, colours & just everything about the public areas was elevated post the amplification, compared to the newer Harmony for example. The only thing we did not like as much were the rooms. We had the balcony and found the storage space to be seriously lacking. Poor layout too compared to balcony rooms on the newer Oasis class ships. Other than that, Oasis was perfect. We have a Carnival Mardi Gras coming up for New Year’s & then for next summer trying to decide between Harmony from Galveston or Symphony from NYC. We were supposed to do Europe next but decided to do a land vacation in Greece & Italy instead of a cruise. Anyway, can’t wait to your AK day, Disney is my fav place. Hehe, yes I’m a Disney adult 🤣

Ohhh Europe is on our list. We went to Italy in 2014 to see my family and it was awesome! We have a cruise tentatively booked for May 2024 so fingers crossed we can do it!!!

@@kala-ryanandkala We might not do Europe next year, it might be in 2025. We want to go for at least 2 weeks and that’s a lot! Mardi Gras is the sister ship to Celebration, based on what I’ve seen in your vlogs it should be nice! Our first Carnival cruise!
I was excited to see how the BBQ was on the ship. And Ryan, Pig and Anchor is an upcharge on Vista class Carnival for dinner...Celebration/Jubilee/Mardi Gras is included for lunch and dinner.

Kala- you have the cutest outfits. Can I ask where the pink romper is from and your favorite clothing stores in Canada? Also your skin and make up is always flawless, whether you’re at Atlantis going full tilt in the sun or at dinner. Can you recommend any cruise/sun friendly make up/ sun-skin care products? Love your videos so much! My husband proposed to be on the Oasis in St. Thomas. It’s a beautiful ship!

The pink romper is actually a bathing suit cover I got from SHEIN. As for shopping in Canada I like old navy or joe fresh for jeans, I like places dynamite or urban behaviour for clothes. I am overall a huge shopper but I hate spending a lot of money on just one item so I usually shop online at places like SHEIN. I know they aren’t the most sustainable but their deals are awesome!
For makeup I use the IT cosmetics CC cream. I am not a huge foundation fan I find it looks super cakey on me. I like the IT CC cream because it has some spf in it too for those hot sunny days! It also gives nice coverage and looks natural! I also find it held up well on the water slides lol. Stayed on pretty well.

That's awesome! You're going to love it. We had a lot of fun at Cococay, the Oasis lagoon pool was packed! We went over to the South Beach area as well and swam out to the bar. So fun!😎🍻☀️

Another fun vlog guys! When you guys play cornhole again make sure to alternate turns because then you can play defense and stuff by knocking off your opponent or blocking the hole....it makes it 10x funner! Can't wait for the other vlogs!

I had the same experience with Port Side BBQ. I couldn't finish 1/2 of what they gave me.
Yeah I wish they advertised how much food they're actually giving you. Definitely a sharing size, but now I know for next time! So good though 😎☀️🍻
Players alternate turns tossing their cornhole bags toward the opposite board. (players on the same side throwing at the same board)
After each team has pitched four bags, players take score, and resume pitching to the opposite board.
The team who scored points in the previous inning goes first in the next inning. If it was tied, the team who went first in the last inning gets to go first again.
A cornhole bag that lands on the ground or bounces onto the board is worth 0 points.
Cancellation Scoring: Only one team can score points per inning. The team with the higher score cancels out the points of the opposing team in that inning.
Points Calculation: The team with the higher score in an inning earns the difference in points. For instance, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 2 points in an inning, Team A earns 3 points for that inning.
A The first player or team to reach or exceed 21 points at the conclusion of an inning is the winner (Advanced players play "bust" rules and have to score exactly 21)

Thank you so much! The Oasis class is a lot of fun definitely give it a try! We have a few planned right now: Carnival Jubilee in February, Explorer of the Seas (Mediterranean) in May and the Utopia of the Seas next Sept. We definitely need to expand into other cruise lines though, that might be our 2025 goal.

Great video! Was just on the Allure and came away scratching my head on why RCI cut corners and went with plastic corn hole boards! Carnival Celebration had traditional boards that seemed to be more-or-less regulation. On a side note, we mostly cruise RCI but I was very surprised how much we enjoyed Carnival's Excel class. From your videos I've gathered you guys might be fans as well :)
We definitely feel the same! There were a lot of misconceptions with carnival, that we are happy to bust with these videos!

We’ve tried Pig & Anchor at Carnival Celebration for dinner and it was free however Pig & Anchor on the Vista class ship is not free, theirs an up charge for dinner.

Hey there! Could you share your thoughts on choosing between a room without a balcony and one with a balcony on a cruise? Is the ventilation in the non-balcony room okay, or does it feel stuffy? Does the air conditioning make the room too dry, giving you a dry mouth in the morning? Thanks
Hey! We've never had any problems with the ventilation so nothing like that from what I remember. The interior rooms are actually very nice to sleep in, very dark and usually pretty quiet. Balcony rooms are amazing, but obviously come at a higher price point. We absolutely loved our Balcony on our Alaska cruise and if we didn't cruise so often we'd probably go with the Balcony, it also depends on the itinerary, I'm not as tempted when it's a Caribbean cruise moreso Mediterranean, Europe, Alaska, Canada, etc. I hope that helps, I think in terms of sleeping/ventilation you'll be fine either way. 😎☀️🍻

Hi. Does anybody knows if it is possible to attend to a show without a reservation? I did Wonder of the Seas and was able to make reservation only once onboard but now I am about to board Oasis of the Seas and realize that reservations could be made in advance!! Now all shows are full on the RC app. Please help
You can, once all the reserved people have been seated they allow people without reservations to go in (if there’s seats available) and there’s almost always seats available as some people don’t come or change their plans.
Just head over a few mins before!

Oasis of the Seas Sucks. Bad food, impossible to find a lounge chair, loud, impersonal, feel like cattle on an overcrowded, loud barge. Loud noises at 2am can’t sleep, screaming children, rude crew. Just another credit card to hustle on and off the ship. St Maarten was an insult and a hustle rat hole. A complete waste of time. Never again Oasis class ship.

Hi. My wife and I have been dedicated royal Caribbean cruises. Diamond status and have cruised the world. Thought we might try an Oasis class. It was like cruising on a Carnival cruise. Bad food loud screaming hundreds of infants, teenagers running all over the ship, ship maintenance every day at 2-3am. People staked out recliners, limited food selection. The windjammer was a joke. The worst 7 days of my life. St Maarten was a rat infested run down island with the nasty locals offering massages on every street corner. We ran back to the ship. A complete waste of a lot of money and valuable time. Uugh😤😤😤
@davidwilson5273 that sucks that you didn’t enjoy the oasis class ships! Royals bigger ships definitely have more kids - we agree! They’re a more “family friendly” ship.
I’m hoping with the Icon class now and the for neighborhoods that will help give adults more space!
