I would love to see you scale the next dry ice car before and after. Adding lightness to a vehicle is one of the best ways to improve its overall performance. Just curious.
Have you had any problem with the Dry Ice machine so far? Is it still under warranty? My main concern is if the machine suffers a major breakdown after the warranty period, there goes your past profit down the drain...How many hours are they supposed to last ? Any idea? THIS is the main obstacle for buying such a costly Dry Ice Machine...How long will it last?!?! What is their reliability???
Great question! After 1year running I have 2 bad bearings on the motor… it’s going on service soon… unfortunately they don’t have for me rental machine so I will be couple days closed. They also said if everything will be fine 🤞🏼 they just do a regular service (around $1200) which is needed since I have more hours than any other machines they know 🥴 which is little scary but so far so good.
Our clients and our team are knowledgeable about what remove and what not. We always give our clients our recommendation but it’s up to them. No, we are not removing under-seal body coating in this case, but yes, we sometimes remove the wax that was there for protection during shipping to the US, across to the ocean. Also many cars we have done are staying in CA so there is little-to-no worry about rust. Also we have a two options for our clients: 3M clear wax or factory cosmoline wax, if they choose to go that route.
We reapply a fresh coat of protection wax after dry ice cleaning. It's not all corrosion protection. It's a wax that attracts dirt and grime, which will eventually cause the very corrosion it's trying to protect.
This is beyond me. I'm so amazed
Never lose the fascination with the final results. Outstanding
300D W123 had very greasy undercarriage. Nice to see working on one.

Wow, kind of shocking how good the condition of the underside is for its age!

Some cars would probably lose some serious weight! LOL
Great pics..
I’m looking for an expert like you in the area around Munich / South Germany! Do you have a recommendation for me? Thanks
Unfortunately not 😕 I’m sure there will be few guys but I don’t know anyone there.
How do you protect the dry ice cleaned parts?
depend on client... we can apply factory Cosmoline or different clear protection wax.
Cool
Great Job, this is a Car for Decades. Which Wax oder Colour do you use after Cleaning up to protect the Underground well ?

@@IAMDetailing Thank you very much for your honesty and pertinent information. Can you tell us how many hours you have on the ColdJet ?
The air compressor is the issue. Huge CFM for this.

👍👍👍👍💪💪💪
Is this type of cleaning expensive? The results are phenomenal.
1. Spend $3k on dry ice cleaning.
2. Gain $15k profit in car auction.
😉
We'd be happy to help anyone out with this strategy :)
All that oil grime underneath is rust protection.. Why take it away?😅
Looks great tho 👍
Not ALL that oil grime is rust protection. We replace the factory protection wax after dry ice cleaning
