For someone who is trying to learn Norwegian having both English and Norwegian subtitles is very helpful when trying to follow a conversation and understand it. Please continue to have both, appreciate it :)

Apparently the only consistent factor to encourage u to approach them is being very attractive coz when it comes to all the other factors their answers were all over the place. Drunk, sober, day, evening, night, bar, out in the town etc.
They are all very young, so take the with a pinch of salt.
You are correct. When women say they want to get approached they mean they want to get approached by very attractive guys aka top 10% guys.
I never had issues with women since I was a kid. One thing I learned very very early is, women will throw all their "Standards, Requirments & Values" out of the window for the right guy. So many times I heard "I have a boyfriend", "I can't leave my friend", "I don't kiss on the first date" etc etc and all of that is bollocks. For the right guy or moment... women will do anything.

I know it's not the point of the video, but thanks for adding both norwegian and english subtitles. I am learning norwegian and it helps a lot. They talk too fast and i can't really get most words without the subtitles.
It's interesting how everywhere, at least in the western world, guys don't approach girls as much as we used to. But, when you ask girls if they would like that to happen rather than meeting on a dating app or social media the majority agree. I hope we start to take more iniciative and approaching stops being seen as something out of the ordinary. I know that I missed a lot of chances out of fear of being rejected...

@@dagda3000 I don’t think that’s the case, most girls are ok with a normal guy as long as he looks good (takes care of his style and smells good). Also personality goes a long way. If you have a loser mentality you are condemning yourself to become one. It goes for both sexes.

If you approach a girl with good intentions and good manners, instead of saying some dumb shit, they will respond in the same way (as long as they are a good person with manners). Even if she is not interested she will politely say it and that will be it.

If you add the men they deem average attractive, they probably deem less than 10% of men as "good looking". You can thank social media for that.
Do not approach any Norwegian girl. They have laws in Norway that facilitate false accusations. Every woman can send any man to jail, her word is the only proof that counts. For example, if she does not receive enough money.
I live in the UK and do not approach any girl full stop for fear of being called a ''creep'' simply because she doesn't find me ''attractive''.

The reason why people in other parts of the world avoid using meeting apps ( unless they are desperate) is that men approach women in various ways at any time and place. While some may offer compliments or gaze at them, I personally prefer a more reserved approach. For example, in certain regions of Italy, France, and Spain, I find it uncomfortable to walk alone as men continuously approach me. I appreciate a friendly smile, and if I respond in kind without showing discomfort, then it's acceptable to try to engage with me. Otherwise, I perceive it as arrogance and feel like asking, "Who do you think you are? How dare you approach me?" However, explaining this is complex due to the range of situations involved. Essentially, I simply wish to walk freely down a street without unwanted advances, without having to cover my face or body to avoid being followed.

When I was younger I got some compliments and made quite many myself and what I learned from that is, norwegian women arent used to compliments, especially when they are off guard (at work or doing something at day time). Cant remember any negative experiences though but have been rejected politely many times but thats ok, goes with the game:)

I dont really go to bars and clubs but its actually very easy to start a conversation with a norwegian woman who has had a few drinks (or more)=P

As a black american(who is considered fairly attractive), I always wonder how i would be received in these parts of the world by the local women. As i've gotten older i put way less emphasis on racism and more on people taking their time to warm up to different. I'd love to come to norway and take in the culture.
