- How am I gonna review the the 1:12 scale S.H. Figuarts Indiana Jones figure? I don't know, I'm making it up as I go. I think it may just be my new favorite six inch figure though!

I bought this figure and I can say with certainty, it belongs in a museum.

The Hasbro figure for a $25 figure isn't bad. I do think Hasbro adding some weathering to the jacket makes the jacket look better. I wish SHF had done some weathering on this jacket which is a tad too dark.
Everything else though I feel ia fantastic. But it is a more expensive figure. If you are just wanting one Indy figure? This is the one to get. If you want a wider collection of various figures the adventure series is still fine. Though there are significant omissions but you can fill them if you are willing to spend the money to customize
I agree with this. People hate on the Hasbro figures from last year but I thought they were quite good. It sucks that the line wasn't completed but what we got was good and worth it for the price when compared to the expensive ones
this channel will be at million subs in a year if you keep up this level of content.
The possible figure of the year that nobody's talking about lol. He's so under the radar that if he were a Spider Man he'd have all the buzz. Great review! He's not just the best Indy figure but one of the best figures out there period.

Excellent video and review of the best 1:12 scale Indiana Jones figure. I have recently received this figure and I have to say that I totally agree with your review.
There's more Indiana Jones than the 3 movies, a few games, novels, a couple comics appearances, and a TV series.
Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is still good
The head sculpting on the Disneyland Indiana jones figure is the best head comparison I ever seen to Harrison ford
Only nitpick I have is I wish the jacket wasn't quite so dark.
Still an amazing figure, certainly better than my Hasbro 6 inch (which is still pretty good).

I've used the Grail, Cross of Coronado, and Grail Tablet from the 2008 line to enhance my current Hasbro figures. I agree they scale nicely. I guess it's time to add the shf figure to my collection.
When you used Toms scream from Tom and jerry for the Jab at hasbro I lost it 😆💀💀💀

I have an original 12” Indiana jones doll from 1984(?) one of the first 500 made that he did not have five o’clock shadow on. The rest that were made had a beard painted on his face. I’m never giving that thing up. It’s still in its box .

Is it just me, or is the hat more of an olive green color rather than a brown? Or is that just how it looks on camera?

I’m absolutely going to pick one up thanks to you..Of all the actors to ever have action figures Harrison Ford has got to be the toughest likeness to get right!.For most of my Ford figures I always joke that it’s a figure of his stunt double since the likeness is so Bad.Even the Toy McCoy.Which is nice..But I always see George W Bush if I stare to long
I just got the Birth of Iron Man Tony Stark Figuarts that has his cave outfit where he’s working on his first suit with mechanic gloves.
The wrist trim is glued to the forearms, but the hands might be compatible with Indy depending on the peg size.
Something to think about!

Figure is damn near perfect. Figarts don’t F around. By far the best Indy out there in this size. If I didn’t already have the figure I would have gotten him after this review. Well done

The only thing I dont like is that it appears that his hat is a greyish green color
I had to cancel my preorder for this when the Mezco one went up. I think the soft goods on the Mezco will work out well for Indy. But this looks great!
@@lucarocks7866 I have the Mezco Toht on pre order. I missed the order window on the Indy, but I'm not too heartbroken. From the promo photos, he looks more like Chris Pratt than Harrison Ford imo.

SH Figuarts Indy looks great on a 1:12 scale Figma horse
Now out of the entire Indy universe of action figures. The Original Marion Ravenwood in the packaging is worth quite a few thousand dollars and very very rare.
When did this come out?

yeah, this is easily one of if not the best indy figure released so far. I do have a few nitpicks. I would've liked double jointed elbows, a bendy wire whip, a little bit of paint app weathering to the jacket and hat (something I really liked about the adventure series), and I feel the strap for his satchel is too short cause in many scenes from the movie the satchel does hang below his jacket (another thing adventure series got right).
Well, I'm getting one now!

Honestly this is probably the best figure of the decade so far, but with the price discrepancy i dont hold the quality difference against hasbro too hard
Didn't even know this figure existed... but the extra arms are the clincher, I had no interest in the any of the Hasbro indie figure lines and I now want this!

The visible pins on the toe joints makes it an automatic 0/10 for me.

@@CollectorsCritical oh no, I’m talking about in person. I have multiple Hasbro Indy’s and the Figuarts and I used the hat that Shortround came with on my Figuarts Indy. I think some people’s figuarts Indy came with green hats than others.

Some collector/comic stores carry Japanese import figures, so if you have any of those near you they could have one. But since it is an older figure, one's best bet is online sources like eBay or something like that. Amiami also may have one, and their prices are usually really great.
Amazon has him at 76 quid.
Hobbylink Japan used to be great pre COVID but now their UK shipping is too much
Medicom, Sideshow, and Mezco in 1/12 scale beats this one hands down. Even the Hasbro 1/6 talker and face mover wins.
crazy that 1 of the best TRILOGIES with so many great sets and scenes has had such a controversially ill-fated run of merchandise. The Kenner figures, skipped many sets as they didn't seel well, the 2008 run, again failed and the recent lot of Kenner Retrospective figures. HUGE FAIL, indy's without accessories, hardly any other figures ( no Willie, Mola Ram, Elsa, Donnovan) not even the plane, temple, bridge, mine cart ( in lego also). The temple with the challenges, tank. also, the figure would be better with a fully removable jacket, so he doesn't need to replace the arms.

Yeah, especially since its an older figure now. The internet is ones friend for this one - though some collector store may get them in collections they purchase.
Looks good but I can't call anything six inches an "action figure". Sue me, I came up in the 80s.😅

@@jasonmillion5970 I got mine off eBay (mint/NIB). Since its a slightly older release you best bet will be second hand sources.
