The Rupes has the ability to cut as good as a rotary, it has a lot more cutting ability than your typical Porter cable, etc. I would say that it's fair in that sense. They obviously felt comfortable with it.
It looked like Kevin Brown gave up, he did not manage to remove all defects? 10 minutes and still not good. Today with 3D ACA 500 and a big wool pad you can do it in 3 minutes
He did, but I believe he was using M205 to cut and to finish. If this is true, the M105 or M100 would have cut much faster. I'm not 100% sure though. If he was using M105 then 🤷
@@danlc95 Yes M105 would have cut better, but M105 leaves a haze when using it with an orbital. If i where him i would have used M105 with a rotary and follow up with M205 with an orbital. He would still have been beaten by 3D though :)

The Rupes with a microfiber cutting disk is very powerful with the correct product. Cuts as good or better than a rotary with a wool pad. No splatter, no burn through, no holograms, lighter than the dewalt in this video, Rupes is the way to go now, the future!
yes the m105 and 205 do dust like anything but they do work. Personally I own both s3 and s30+ scholl and they don't dust one bit and have the longest working times known to mankind!
He uses water to cut the emulsion, to get more cut. Those Megs products are designed to work fast with very short work times. That being said, even with best practices, the dust is a bit much for me. M205 is ok, but the compounds dust. I've been using 3D One more and more. It cuts nice, finishes great, and refuses to dust.

Hi is 3d one for all car colors and does he can remove deep scratches they aren't too big and deep.? Please help 😬😬
How is this even fair? You cannot use a rotary and compare it to a DA. They should have all used a DA or a rotary.
If product is being compared then the same tools have to be used. This was not an apples to apples comparison.
The Rupes has the ability to cut as good as a rotary, it has a lot more cutting ability than your typical Porter cable, etc. I would say that it's fair in that sense. They obviously felt comfortable with it.
Personal Touch Mobile Detailing the problem is that Meguiars is too dusty with a rotary.
@Henry Hernandez If you're trying to mow down defects quickly then the rotary will do that at a quicker rate.
It's a bring what you got situation and 3d brought it🤣
Its funny to see this,,,,all the companies' are telling us to use pee size of there product but there using tons 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If it was "just product" why did he use a rotary when the other guy used a dual action? It makes no sense!

+Alfred Hernandez I would say use the dewalt and rupes. I use the dewalt for cutting and rupes for polishing and finishing.
everybody had their choice of tools.
Why is that person using a da if rotary is better. He's admiting that a rotary is better so why not use it?
It takes real skill and experience to use a rotary and if you got the right technique you can finish off way better a da
Who won?
Francisco Mendoza - 3D buffing champion of the world.
For anyone wondering which one cuts more here's a vid of the rotary vs DA vs forced rotation ua-cam.com/video/Vyz6P9XeYrw/v-deo.html

compound
If you have to spray water to keep your product from dusting even with a da. Your product sucks cough cough megs.

It's not about the sanding. This is a demonstration of the compound and polish right?
Meguiars is shit. I worked with their products for a while and it’s a lots of time.
yelow to black foam???/ wtf
Yellow helps refine the wool pad marks, and the black gives that final finish.
