The "left" coast is the reason for the lack of manufacturers. Born and raised in Cali. Retired 6 years ago and moved out. Love the fixie content. Having been a bow hunter for 3 decades fixies were all I had for a long time. Cheers!
That is a fact. There has been a mass exodus of knife companies from California heading East due to the difficulty of growing a business here. Thanks for watching.
That's a solid opening salvo. Can't wait to see you return with more of the same. Due in part to the time difference, I've been watching you guys discuss knives with beers in hand while sipping my morning coffee. Cool stuff!
Regarding West Coast knife makers, it was pretty sad went Buck Knives left San Diego, CA. But I don't blame them. There have been some heavy hitters that have come out of SoCal over the years, to include the legendary Bob Loveless out of Riverside, CA. I agree that it would be pretty legit to see another knife convention out here on the West Coast. On another note... on a recent trip I discovered a small company: CobraTec out of Meridian, Texas. I picked up their auto Trapper model with antler scales. I ended up doing a write-up on that posted on the Wingman115 website blog. A pretty sweet knife and a cool little company y'all might want to check out. Keep up the great content!
There are still a lot of great knife makers in California. I think a lot of them just don't want to stay. And I've seen CobraTec stuff before, but for some reason thought they only made OTF knives. That trapper looks sweet. We just might have to pick one up one of these days.
Firstly gentlemen, that's a Guiness you are consuming. It is actually a Stout not really a beer.! By seeing how it was poured, reckon it's not your regular beverage. But it is what it is, you do you mate. Anyway, love the knives, love the vid, enjoy the chat too. So what smoking.?? Cheers from the Land Down Under.
If you mean the Maxsa, then the Condor you're thinking of is probably the Bush Slicer, which is actually hanging on the wall in the video. We're probably gonna feature that knife pretty heavily in our next video.
To the gentleman on the left, your mic didnt have a good connection. It made your voice sound strange. And the sound levels were a little off, your voice was a bit louder.
Why do people nock Walmart, a lot of Americans rely on Walmart for food and other things like medicine. There are many other popular quality knife manufacturers that sell knives at Walmart. CRKT, Kershaw, Buck, Camillus, Gerber just to name a few.
Honestly, it's probably a topic that deserves its own episode. The short answer for us is mostly about quality control. Civivi won't need to maintain the same standards they've had to do well at Walmart.
I’ve come to actually like Walmart. Well lit, wide aisles, and a wide variety of less expensive stuff. I was sort of biased against them for a long time, but changed. Main thing I did was try not to go there during busy times.

Hard to keep staff when they can make more at McD's LOL Cheers!
@@RamboAdventures-oi1mn Most Americans prefer "Big Macs" over knives. True story.

Ha ha. You are writing from the future. Thanks Peter.
Looking forward to the next one!😉
We'll see you there.
Nice show fellas…maybe add a second camera for close ups of the knives? Just put it in front of the mike and next to the beer so we can smell them!🤣
We would, but the space we would need for a second camera is taken up by our back up beers.
@@nothingbutknives2286 yehaw!
Grew up in Western Pennsylvania…..lots of Case, GEC , and Ka-bars…..fun times!
Kevin also designed the Tactile Archer…have all of his knives including a 1 of 3 version that all rock.
Great to get new content from you guys. You should invite the girls too to soften the scene
That is a good idea that will eventually happen.
Like it 👍

We actually drink it on a fairly regular basis, but we usually drink it at a pub where a more qualified person handles the pour.
That massage knife looks just like one condor cane out with a couple years ago

Thanks. We figured the problem out, so the next one will have better audio.
Sorry...what did you say? I was watching the beer
The beer is key.

I cannot watch you pour that Guinness.
Disgraceful technique.
The shame!
Nice job on video.

Thanks for watching.
