this is a well explained video of how the transmission of different sounds can be greatly reduced. i have watched many videos on sound deadening cars and there are a lot of people putting out confusing bad information. i did need to watch it twice. the 2nd time with the subtitles on. it was worth the study. than you. i think part of the problem wasn't his accent as much as the sound quality wasn't great.
The last tip emphasizes the importance of surface preparation. The video shows heavy rust damage to the floor pan (road salt?). How would proceed in this case? Do you quote the customer the cost of removing the rust and repainting before continuing?
Foam only make sound better. Butyl with aluminium lower volume. Butyl without aluminium it did nothing. Cover the wheel arch only (front plastic guide and rear metal arch) to lower volume by 10%. I'm lazy to remove carpet that's why I only do wheel arch.
This video is a BIG MISTAKE. You've no idea how to soundproof. Using more than 25-30% of the coverage area to dumpen the vibrations - the first mistake. Using foam, which is already included in greater amount in your carpets on the floor. Using cheap Russian products being sold all over the world - STP. Cheap made. Expensive sold. You always need 3 layers: dampening/absorbing/blocking (alubutyl/felt or polyelster or really thick polyurethan foam like 3-5cm not mm/epdm or MLV). And that's it.
Because that's not the end all. You still get loads of resonance through the body panels from wind and other vehicles. Also there's other benefits like improved HVAC efficiency, better car audio, lower volume conversations at highway speed.
Good Video except for the language, it’s almost impossible to understand what you are saying. You should have let somebody else talk instead of yourself. Pity.
I'm about to install soundproofing in my car, and that last mistake in particular was absolutely an eye-opener. Thank you!
What a unique Anglo-Slavic accent! That and the advice given makes you want to pay close attention. Thanks for putting this up.

I do think you need to restore the surface and redo the paint so that it will stick nicely.
People complaining about the accent burns my biscuits. Those same people can’t even be bothered to learn a second language…
Nice video!
So you advice to use a thick deadning pad of 2mm for this
What type of material would you recommend for the inside of a boat motor Cowling ? Foam, butyl ??

As if you can put a 4-6 cm thick coating in your car and then on top the carpet and still put in all stuff like seats, doorcarts and so forth.
Huh?😳🧐
Can’t understand w accent. Even w CC
What sort of English dialect is this? I can barely understand what you are saying.

Stripping your car and applying sound deadening costs a lot of money and effort. Why don't you just buy silent tires
Because that's not the end all. You still get loads of resonance through the body panels from wind and other vehicles. Also there's other benefits like improved HVAC efficiency, better car audio, lower volume conversations at highway speed.
Because tires alone don't make big enough difference in cheap tin can cars. Ofcourse noisy tires make things way worse.

A few years of english would improve this advice even further.
Spasibo :D Thank you for the advice.
His English is good enough
