  • Hi everyone, in this video, I wanted to give you a little sense of what to expect when going to an emergency department/emergency room. I will be walking you through a play by play of what you may experience when entering the Emergency Room from the patients perspective. I will also be shedding some light on common concerns/questions raised by patients who visit the Emergency department.
The Emergency room is a busy place and although the extended waiting and the uncertainty may be frustrating, I hope that this video provides you with some more insight on what happens behind the scenes.

This video is an admission of a broken Emergency Room system in Canada. The first half is dedicated to explaining how you enter their ER. 1/2 one half of the video is explaining how you enter the ER.

This is the best admission that the Canadian Emergency Room is broken. One half, --the entire first half--of this video--is dedicated to explaining how you enter the Canadian ER. This is institutional brain washing.

I couldn’t agree more! Our system is not optimal by any means. Not sure I understand the institutional brain washing piece though. Just sharing the realities of what is happening on the ground and setting expectations, nothing more to it.

Let me help you, get way more efficient! When busy have 1 or 2 $650.000 salaried “ doctors show up as a back up. Pay with our money to have another lab person onsite, in other words get it done. We are getting tired of the bullshit.

So what happens when I come In saying I'm an alcoholic experiencing uncontrollable vomiting, critical dehydration and intense abdominal pain? Symptoms? Oh sure thing. Vomiting blood and feces for 17 hours straight with no change in condition
If you dont admit me for suspicion of acute pancreatition sight, I suspect you're not well versed enough in medicine.
    Unfortunately that's been my experience.
    ER attendance are a joke

Nice, very insightful video. You guys should collect $100 from anyone that gets classified as a "5" and donate it to medical research. That'll cut the wait times in half!
