Tupolev 134-Sh:
the training and navigational aircraft was developed on an initiative basis in the department of the chief designer of the Kharkov plant on the basis of the Tu-134A. The aircraft differed from the base aircraft in its reinforced wing and tail structure, which was explained by the large number of takeoffs and landings, compared to aircraft that carried passengers. In addition, multi-position beam holders were attached to the reinforced spars, designed to carry eight practical bombs of caliber from 50 to 250 kg. The aircraft made it possible to carry out training bombing using an optical sight installed at the navigator's workplace, and a radar sight from the cadets' workplaces. The passenger compartment was equipped with 12 workplaces with comfortable chairs for cadets. The initial composition of the navigation equipment corresponded to the Tu-22 supersonic long-range bomber.
