- Here are my thoughts on the @bdawnfit drama - if you haven't heard, Brittany Dawn Fitness was recently exposed for consumer fraud. It even made national news on Good Morning America. Here's my opinion on the Brittany Dawn scandal, and what I think we should all do moving forward...

Hiring a fitness "influencer" for coaching based on their following and not credentials makes about as much sense as asking someone to fix your car because they own a Ferrari.

The problem with Brittany is she lied about being a certified trainer. She was only certified in nutrition through NASAM. So people were researching but she was putting out false info (this has been proven to be true).
She was also selling cookie cutter programs, not giving proper nutrition advice and not responding to clients. She was blocking and deleting people when they complained.
She has issued refunds and then retracting them. In the group, people are posting proof of all of these.
She has lied about how she has handled them.
She absolutely knew what she was doing. She was doing it for years. As a business owner she should have responded to her client inquiries when it first became a problem instead of silencing them. She knows what she is doing now by blocking again and not responding to legit emails. She had a lavish lifestyle and didn’t want to give it up.
People are upset because she still has not properly addressed the issue, she is flaunting her vacations when she still owes women thousands of dollars in legit refunds. People who are trying to contact her to clear up the situation she is blocking them.
I get it that she is human and has made a mistake. The issue here, is she as a business person has a responsibility to those who support her lifestyle. It’s not a mistake when it has gone on for over 3 years, when women have proof and she continues to ignore the responsibility in hopes it blows over. She has not owned up to the issue. She has not truthfully taken care of those she hurt. It will not end until she does.
There is actually very very little in terms of comments where it’s truthfully nasty. Most of her comments are from clients she is still ignoring and not giving refunds to.
These women want answers and they don’t want to be ignored anymore. Brittany has lived off their money for free. Yes there is a lawsuit under way as well as a case with the attorney general.
I really hope she opens her eyes and does the right thing. I hope she owns up, truly owns up. I hope she responds to each of these women, and I hope she gives the refunds back. I believe in second chances but she has to put the effort in first.
WOAH! I did NOT know all of that. Holy cow... That's all way worse than I thought! Yikes! I hope everyone gets what they're owed. The law really should get involved at this point because that's straight up illegal, not to mention dangerous!
There is a class action lawsuit evolving and complaints have been filed with the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Most of what she says in her videos as a defense are outright lies.

I unfollowed brittany dawn a while back because of her personal views that say a lot about her to begin with. I hate that others didnt see these signs and got duped. I hope she and they learn from this

She always rubbed me the wrong way and it freaked me out that I couldn’t guess her age. Like her face looks older than her body.
I followed Brittany Dawn off and on for a little while, but found a lot of her form/technique to be off and was really put off by her mindset around food, for the most part. I'm not sure if it ever changed, as I've not followed her for a long time now. This is my first time hearing about this, though! I appreciate your point of view. Buyers, especially on the internet, need to practice research and more thought before diving into something. And on the flip side, regardless of what she's done or "taken" from people, lashing out at her is not effective and puts our energy in the wrong place. It's going to be interesting to see how this progresses/unfolds. Thanks for sharing your view on this.
Brittni totally!! It’s all about protecting our own energy and being conscious of what WE are creating in the world. The form stuff for me was a clear indicator that this person wasn’t well trained but I also feel for others cuz I was taught at UCLA so it’s easy for me to identify who knows what they’re doing and who’s just got a lot of followers. I hate to say that but it’s true these days and my wish is that everyone stays informed and does their research before getting sucked into something like this!
Love your point of view on this and your insight, if I may, I would recommend to maybe lower the background music because it’s louder than your voice and very distracting.

I was with you until the 9:00 mark ... I think she absolutely knew what she was doing. You can even see the “duping delight” on her face every time she talks about it
Yeah I hear ya... hopefully the government will be able to make it right at this point! I'm still hoping for the best for everyone involved.

Some of the attacks against her she is receiving is unacceptable (and disgusting) especially the death threats and wishing death on her and/or her family but in my opinion, the rest is deserved because besides the fact that she believes that she is the victim/her victims are trolls and refuses to take responsibility for her actions, what she did is not a mistake. She intentionally committed fraud for years and would have continued to do so if she hadn't been caught.

@@Supersisterfitness it is def a lesson for us all to research any program before whipping out the wallet. But yeah..........all those people's money got them were little umbrella drinks in Hawaii with Brit's name on them.
Giiirrll you wanna have compassion for someone who scammed THOUSANDS of people and acts like she’s the victim??? I’m not saying wish her death but I won’t be nice to someone who is that evil and claims to be a “devoted Christian” (fake all around) ... respect is earned 💁🏻♀️
I think compassion is always a great strategy. Not agreeing with what she did though. I definitely think legal action should be pursued to make things right at this point. But compassion will never NOT be a good thing to remember, no matter what someone did.
Super Sister Fitness but she didn’t have a misfortune...she did this to herself... why have compassion for someone who is not truly sorry and who continues to do wrong after wrong ... many ppl kept telling her just refund people FULL amount and admit you did wrong (not a “mistake” as she calls it)... and believe me people would’ve then have some compassion or at least leave her alone .... but she didn’t and she hasn’t .... I do hope she does pay her dues in jail.. she’s not far away from someone breaking into your house and steal your money ... she broke through people’s vulnerability and stole from them KNOWINGLY

Any at home workouts are perfect 👌🏻 I’m a mom of two boys and I don’t have time to go to a gym so I do all my workouts at home. If you have any tips on how to ditch cravings would be awesome!! I crave salty and sweet food daily and it hard to find healthy alternatives

@@Yelgie Nope! I wouldn't have bought her program without researching it first. Based on her form in exercise videos, I wouldn't have bought it at all. I also work extremely hard to earn a living... UA-cam is arguably harder than most jobs lol
I never said "just drop it," I'm saying it's not worth the energy to be mean and hateful. I said there are alternative ways to get your money back, like filing a dispute with the credit card companies and/or filing a lawsuit. I'm simply saying hate and shade shouldn't be thrown no matter what someone does, it's just immature.
@@Yelgie PS I'm also not condoning her behavior at all, I think it's pretty embarrassing the way she's handled the entire thing. She should give all the money back that wasn't rightfully hers, and since she hasn't, it's pretty clear she likely spent it all already. Therefore, filing with the credit card companies or in court is the best option. I wouldn't waste a second of energy on trolling her vids.
