Rest In Peace Robin Williams.
Amen.
“What Dreams May Come” has been one of my favorite movies since childhood
It's beautiful!
Yes, it isn't a favorite for me, but it's a gorgeous film. Plus, Robin Williams. 💙
Gorgeous movie.
What Dreams May Come is a beautiful & deep movie. He went to actual hell to rescue his wife. Let me say that again. He traveled to hell! Would I do that…. No. Would you do that 🤷🏼♀️. He was going to stay in hell if he couldn’t get his wife to heaven.
Just seeing the thumbnail shocked me when I read the title. Granted maybe clickbait? Had they put Spidey 3
Yeah that movie still fucks me up
I don't understand why that movie got so much hate, it's a wonderful plot and it's a piece of art. Such a beautiful film and the acting was spectacular.
"This is Chris. I still exist"
Literally my favorite movie ever and I’m not even religious. The book by Richard Matheson is also really good.
@@evanknepper2002 I didn’t know there is a book, I’ll definitely have to read it
What Dreams May Come is a great film.
National Treasure has always been a guilty pleasure of mine; it was a perfect action/adventure flim. 💯💖🎉
What Dreams May Come is my favorite movie. The plot is not the best, but the emotional impact is so great that it left such a lasting imprint on my heart.
I mostly agree, it’s a beautiful and touching movie. It definitely got me in the feels.
Alright, Waterworld actually kicks ass. Dennis Hopper always makes a good villain.
TRUE I love this movie
agreed, Dennis Hopper shoulda been a villain in more movies, loved him in Speed, Waterworld and tolerated him in Super Mario Bros. even though the latter as a whole made me want to throw up..
I think at the time some critics' didn't like the idea of a drowned world. Trouble is now, it seems somewhat possible as a future.
@@julianaylor4351 nah, we'll burn in nuclear fire long before that happens...
Waterworld RULES!!
National Treasure was never hated by audiences.
wouldnt make sense to be hated when there was a sequel, evidently had to be a fanbase. i liked it, felt like a spiritual successor to Indiana Jones, who would ironically come back a few years later with a stinker, i might add!
It's a little cheesy but super entertaining. And Sean Bean lives.
@@UltimateGamerCC The Sequel is fine, could be better written in some areas.
Hook doesn’t deserve hate; it really is a great movie
I didn't know it got any hate. I thought most people liked it.
Its not a great movie
8:32 "also Sean Bean survives... it's a miracle " hahaha
I don't hate SPIDER-MAN 3
I hate AVI ARAD for ruining Sam Raimi's passion
You’re not alone
I don't hate the star wars prequels
@@tarryteeth Yes, finally someone who is on the same page with me about Star Wars Prequels outsode of the Star Wars named channels.
I'll be honest, I hate Spiderman 3, but I recognize it could have been amazing if Sony and Avi Arad could have just let Sam work
Venom was originally not planned to be in the movie as Sam Raimi wasn't initially a fan of the character, stating the character "lacked humanity" in comparison to the previous villains. Instead, he planned to have Vulture as the main villain of the story. However, he was pushed by Avi Arad to replace him with Venom, as he felt that the series was relying too much on Raimi's personal favorites instead of the villains that the fans like.
That being said, fans disliked this iteration of Venom, particularly because Brock does not become Venom until towards the end.
In other earlier scripts of the film, the Lizard and Electro were planned to be the antagonists, rather than Venom and the Sandman. The Lizard would later appear in The Amazing Spider-Man movie while Electro appeared in the sequel. Vulture also appeared as the main antagonist of the first Spider-Man movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
You obviously didn't watch What Dresms May Come. His wife got caught in Purgatory. She felt so guilt ridden, she committed suicide. Robin's purpose was to save her. Extraordinary movie.
I deliberately left out huge spoilers so everyone can enjoy and love the movie as I do.
I watched it again after Robin Williams died and it was even more profound😢
"What Dreams May Come" is a great movie, great acting, great, everything!
The problem with some of these movies was the trailers. Some of them mislead people and turned people away.
Yeah most of the darker edgier stuff I've seen has been promoted as a wacky comedy. Also I missed out on some genuinely good movies because they were promoted as wacky comedies that looked stupid.
No matter how ethnically, racially, sexually or any way diverse cast you have, If your film or series has Inhumans - level writing, It just won’t work just like Wish and Madame Web

How did MCU went from Homecoming and GOTG2 to Inhumans in 2017?
@@SirsasthNigam. Kathleen Kennedy wanted to push an agenda.
@@SirsasthNigam. errm ok?
Any movies with the late, great Robin Williams should be heralded and seen over and over just because of him. Hook and What Dreams may come, while not being amongst his best, are absolutely still amazing feats of production, and, of course, acting by Williams (and occasionally others).
I enjoyed The Majestic, Hook, National Treasure, The Boondocks Saints, Spider-Man 3, Waterworld, and What Dreams May Come and I think everyone should give these movies a closer look.
I totally agree The Godfather PT III doesn't deserve the hate, besides it was the final movie by Francis Ford Coppola and Mario Puzo's legendary film trilogy.
It wasn't the first 2 but it was very good. Completely agree
The only thing I didn't like about the third Godfather was Sofia Coppola's acting.
@@nenarosebud658 which was trimmed down in CODA
Well, no, that by itself means nothing.
The movie needed to be great. And it wasnt. And that makes it more shameful BECAUSE it was the final movie of a trilogy.
I always said that it was a really great movie , the only problem is that the first two were masterpieces
i love what dream may come.... it's poetry on screen.
Last night, I rewatched The Great Gatsby 2013 for the 3rd time, and honestly it was way better than I remembered. It was actually really good. DiCaprio was terrific, the Cinematography, costumes and production design were flawless and Tobey's narration was a very nice touch.
A similar case happened with me. The first time I saw it, I thought it was so boring and then upon rewatch, I liked it so much more.
😎
It was hated for no reason, Old Sport!
Still only 20 mins in!
@@RestrictedFilms No reason? Or do you mean a reason you dont agree with?
It was hated because it's a story about spoiled rich people and their spoiled little problems. Not saying I agree, but that is one of the main reasons.
Batman forever is often considered one of the worst superhero movies of all time, but that's mainly due to the fact that it was followed by the (rightly) much more maligned Batman & Robin.
The movie has redeeming qualities among its attributes and it might have a chance of rebirth in the next years, that is if Warner bros ever decides to release the original cut of the film (of which a workrpint version was screened last summer to positive reception)
A big problem was the poor direction given to unwatchable Tommy Lee Jones who came of as an especially ott Joker when he was playing Harvey Dent. Nolan knew what to do with the character in Dark Night
Batman forever is not seen as the worst. Batman and robin is. Most people think batman forever was ok.
Batman Forever was just OK. It didnt have the edge those first two films had. Tim Burton knew exactly what he was doing. Joel Schumacher later admitted he was clueless.
Batman Forever was great imo, i didnt like the director's "Schu-mockery" compared to the gothic undertones of Tim Burton's Batman movies, but i felt that Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones gave it their all and you felt like they were having a blast.
Batman Forever is fine (Two-Face aside), and Chris O'Donnell's Robin is actually well-executed. Batman and Robin, however, may be the worst movie ever made by a major studio. I think it's the only time a director has included an apology in the DVD extras.
Who hates What Dreams May Come? Is a touching story. I will always remember this movie as coincidentally it was the last Robin William movie I accidentally click to watch one night then the next morning the news shocked the world of his untimely death😢.. I was numb…all I can said was “mum, I juz saw him yesterday…he was in heaven…he really was 🥹….
Spiderman 3 don't deserves the hate
All the Douglas Adams fans seem to hate the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie adaptation from 2005, but as a huge lover of all the books, I adored the film. Most aren't aware that after Adams died, the writer and studio actually changed his screenplay to be more like the book, not less. The whole point (joke) of the Guide franchise is that every version is supposed to be different, even contradictory, to every other version. It's endlessly flexible. The fans hate the romantic angle, but forget that Trillian doesn't end up being a character with much purpose or anything approaching a personality in the original novel/radio show. She's narratively non-functional (since the original plot was pretty much made up as they went along), and they fixed that flaw.
I will forever giggle myself silly thinking about the dolphin musical number that opens the movie, and it's chock full of other virtues.
Star Wars The Phantom Menace it had one of the best lightsaber battles in the entire franchise
It's my favorite Star Wars. The pod racing, going through the planet underwater, three awesome battles being waged at the end, one of those being what I think is the best light saber battle of the whole series.
No, it deserved the hate.
@@jamesdayton2598 I enjoyed the Pod Racing too, I still don't understand why it's not seen in the other Star Wars shows and series today. Having three battles at once reminds me of Star Wars Return of the Jedi. I just wish they made Jar Jar Binks a much better character for everyone to like.
@@dreamguardian8320 Agreed. Yeah, it remined me of Return of the Jedi. That was my favorite before I saw Phantom Menace.
That movie was much better than Attack of clones. AOC was boring until the 3rd act.
What dreams may come is one kind my favs of all time the acting and cinematic visuals with the over all story is amazing
Finally some appreciation with The Village!
I remember that one. That one was pretty good
I really like it.
It was alright but as with most of his films incredibly obvious
I liked it. :)
where is Edward Scissor hands? this movie gets so much hate but is so under-rated all together... seriously a classic everyone should see
Everyone loves that movie lol.
Never heard a single word of hate for this movie.
I liked National Treasure , that’s the one movie that comes to mind when I think of Nicolas Cage
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. People only hated it because it was different!
That and Rachel Griffths wasn't able to reprise her role
@@frankieseward8667 Yeah, that too.
Rachel WEISZ @@frankieseward8667
Nah it legit sucked. The energy was lackluster.
Stephen Sommers made the first 2 as an homage to Old Hollywood. Tom of the Dragon Emperor was just any blockbuster made that year.
no, we hated it because it didnt feel like The Mummy anymore. OG Evelyn; GONE! Imhotep; GONE! Jonathan; GONE! (if memory serves me right) Jet Li's character wasnt flushed out, Michelle Yeoh being in it was cool, but otherwise not really flushed out... it was a MESS, and not in a good way like the first two movies, not even remotely close.
I love how Bruce Campbell was in all three of the Spider-Man movies, In the fourth one he was supposed to play Mysterio.
Loved What Dreams May Come, both the movie, & the Richard Mattheson book it was based on are a favourite of mine. It's such a beautiful modern retelling of the Orpheus & Eurydice myth that i've never understood the hate that it gets.
I’m just reading a book of Matheson’s short stories, including Nightmare at 20,000 Feet. Somewhere in Time (my favorite romantic movie) is next.
@@HeronCoyote1234 -I've not read the book of Somewhere In Time yet, but i enjoyed the movie so i'll definitely need to read it at some point. If you've been enjoying reading through Richard Mattheson's work so far then I'd highly recommend reading I Am Legend if you haven't already (the book is so much better then the movie adaptation with Will Smith). There's also his ghost story A Stir Of Echoes that was also adapted into a really good horror movie with Kevin Bacon in the lead role.
Boondock Saints is hated? I only ever heard good things about it. It's a great movie.
"What Dreams May Come" and "Hook" are good and alright Robin Williams films, respectively. Only one Robin Williams movie deserves the contempt, Patch Adams.
Spidey 3 DID deserve the hate... Venom was given to Foreman from That 70s Show, wasnt intimidating in the least and worst of all he was deleted in like 2 minutes... the Venom movies saved the Symbiote's reputation of badassery after the damage that Spidey 3 wraught.
I thought the casting was alright; it's just Eddie got no real scenes before getting the symbiote. Eliminate Sandman and give a lot more depth to Eddie before he becomes Venom.
The Majestic is *brilliant* and I don't think water world is hated, it just flopped there is a big difference.
The Village was great!
I love the village. It was more psychological than horror, and the twist seemed unique
No it had a terrible twist
Love it!
The problem all these movies have is that either they take themselves way too seriously, or not at all, expect What Dreams May Come, Hook, and National Treasure, proof that you can never miss with Robin Williams and Nicolas Cage, even if things go bad.
Vanilla Sky takes itself way too seriously as well. It's actually an interesting and cerebral movie, it's just incredibly slow nad drags on at points. The premise is actually really good. I was scared of Cameron Diaz for years after this movie. Sort of like Glenn Close in fatal attraction.
Incredibly unpopular opinion. The 1995 Scarlet Letter is a good movie. (Minus ALL Robert Duvall Scenes)
OK Watchmojo, good list. Now I dare you to follow it up with "Top 10 movies that don't deserve the love", movies that loads of people say are really good and got good critical reception, but actually stink. My first nomination would be Shrek.
That poor Sofia Coppola was *bulldozed* into GF3 with no decent experience and very little prep. I am GLAD GLAD GLAD!!! that she has found solid footing as a respected director. 🎉 👏
The thing I never understood about Spiderman 3 wasn't the general hate, but the specific hatred of the scenes with the dancing and such. I always felt like those scenes are horribly misunderstood. Peter Parker at his core is a nerdy guy, he's not slick or cool and it's only really Spiderman that allows him to seem otherwise. The symbiote removes his inhibitions and gives him the confidence to be himself, which is exactly what he does, but he's NOT COOL. The way he acts is meant to be goofy, because it's a perfect reflection on what his deep-rooted nerdy personality thinks cool looks like, hence the hair, the dancing, and his interactions with women. It's kinda like being really drunk, but without the lack of co-ordination or fuzzy thinking. Or more simply, he's literally drunk with power.
Vanilla Sky is brilliant.
Any song that has The Monkees' Porpoise Song in it cant be all bad!
And very boring
It's got a great premise and fantastic acting. It is very very slow and plodding. Definitely worth watching once.
What Drama May Come is actually one of my favorite movies ever! I love it! ❤️🔥💜🫶🏻 RiP Robin Williams 💔
What Drama May Come?
"What Dreams may Come" is one of my favourite books, by the late, great Richard Matheson. The visuals and acting are great, but the grit is all wrung out and the final "happy" ending is a vile travesty!!
@@christopheraliaga-kelly6254-I had no problem with the ending of What Dreams May Come (all the pain the main characters & audience experienced throughout the rest of the film made the happy ending well deserved in my opinion), & to be fair the book had a pretty happy ending too, it's just that they had to wait a bit longer then in the movie to end up together again.
U should add *Dr Dolittle, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Evolution, Gnomeo & Juliet & Sherlock Gnomes* the hatred over them is WEIRD when each of those films priorities are VERY creative and Dialogues spot on making them VERY enjoyable
You forgot The Crying Game
The only issue with that was the promotion of the twist was ground to a halt after Oscar nominations.
Most (not all) Adam Sandler movies get undeserved hate, especially by people who don't even watch them
i love Eight Crazy Nights, Happy Gilmore and his work in thee Hotel Transylvania franchise.
Click
That rich guy has made a lot of bad "comedies"; there's a reason that most of them have been filmed in prime vacation spots, and Sandler has even admitted it. It's shocking that so many have been profitable.
The Wedding Singer is my favorite. They get a lot of undeserved hate but they are quite often cheesy and dare I say.....lazy. I still rewatch many of them, though.
@@Heathcoatman 95% of Sandler's movies are formulaic dumb comedies that he deliberately films in exotic locations so that he and his friends can essentially take a paid vacation. The other 5% (which includes The Wedding Singer) are not his productions and have substantive stories, and in those, he makes an actual effort to act. This is why almost all of those have received good reviews.
Waterworld, is just mad Max, just water.
And people loved Mad Max
Yeah and Mad Max is great.
I read What Dreams May Come after watching the movie and it became my favourite book. I like the movie enough and Robin Williams is good in it but is missing something that you can pinpoint.
I love the National Treasure movies I mean they’re so much about both of them to appreciate and to see it from a more historical perspective.
I saw Waterworld when it first came out in 1995 I was like 10 i think. My mom and aunt went to see Clueless , i thought it was a very fun movie to watch. I dont know why it's knocked so much. I always thought it was a good movie 👍
I'm glad Spider-Man 3 made it on this list because that Movie doesn't deserve the hate it got because I thought it was awesome.
Click is one of my favorites. Yes, it's typical Adam Sandler fare for the most part, and it may get too shmaltzy by the end, but it does have heart and a great message. Always makes me feel good by the time the end credits start rolling.
Waterworld: Mad Max in the ocean...

People hated What Dreams May Come? That was done so well and Robin Williams was so good in that. The part where he stays with her....god.
Also The Majestic. I get why people might not like it but Jim Carrey was great.
What Dreams May Come is incredibly spiritual. He went through literal hell to rescue his wife. I loved this movie, even though it was a hard emotional watch. I think Robin Williams deserved an Oscar nod for his performance.
It's easy to hate the *"what dreams May come"* one
Cause even though I'm a big fan of creative priorities and good Dialogues they make theirs in that Robin Williams film VERY uncomfortable
I actually always like Spider-Man 3.
What Dreams May Come was a sad, tragic, uplifting, just beautiful movie. Annabella Sciorra was heart-rending and nobody could’ve played it like she did. This is one of those rare movies that gives me hope in a hopeless world.
I did see "National Treasure" on video. It wasn't bad for a popcorn movie, but it wasn't one of the greats either.
There was that one scene in Spidey3 that ruined the whole movie for a lot of people. Sandman was the most interesting character in the movie.
What Dreams May Come was a beautiful movie. It's a fantasy which always requires a large amount of suspension of disbelief.
Boondock Saints is a great movie. It has some ridiculous action scenes, but that's part of the charm.
Hook was a favorite movie to watch with my kids many times. They are in their 30s now, and we still watch it once in a while when they come to visit, especially with my granddaughter in the room. 🙂
I saw Waterworld on a date. I thought it was worth the price of admission, but my girlfriend fell asleep. It wasn't until some time later that I found out I'm supposed to hate it.
Godfather III is not as good as its predecessors, but what really killed it was one big casting mistake. If Winona Ryder had been available to take that part, the movie would have been SO much better.
I felt like The Amazing Spider-Man, Batman V. Superman, AND Avengers: Age of Ultron didn’t deserve the hate. They’re all good looking films from the special effects and music side of things. But yes, the Martha scene in Batman v. Superman was uncalled for.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!
@@mr.heisenberg0122, IT’S HIS MOTHER’S NAME! It’s his mother’s name.”
Batman V Superman's problem is that Batman was an idiot and a mass killer without giving us a direct reason for it. Know your characters and Snyder doesn't know Batman.. or Superman. Wonder Woman was great.. in short bursts.
Disney’s Star Wars & some MCU stuff after Endgame and No Way Home, Hangover Part 2, Lightyear, Pixels, Tim Story’s Fantastic 4, Jurassic World Dominion & Avatar films
When did the Avater films got hate? Unless you refer to the failed Avatar the Last Airbender movie
@@Barricade379 no i mean James Cameron films because of recycled storyboards, aliens not being scary looking, the sx scene, preachy theme & its length. Way of Water being hated for similar reasons & for taking too long to be made. People are calling that the 3rd one in the Godfather Trilogy of second franchise instalments directed by James Cameron when compared to Judgement Day & Aliens
Popeye should’ve made this list. I absolutely love that movie but it gets tons of hate for some reason. The songs are great and it’s the most perfectly cast film I’ve ever seen. The sets and costumes are right out of the early Popeye cartoons.
Love Robin Williams. That movie is unwatchable.
Honorable mentions:
* Dark Phoenix
* The Flash
* Shazam: Fury of the Gods
* Indiana Jones 4
* TMNT: Out of the Shadows
* Terminator: Dark Fate
Agree with Flash & Shazam 2
Don't know about Shazam 2 because the villains weren't Dr. Sivana and Mister Mind who we we were expecting thanks to the first movie's mid credits scene. The Flash had bad CGI, we hate Ezra Miller, and it didn't have a happy ending
@@waheedabdullah6371 blame Zaslav and Discovery for that not the writers. Also despite the CGI cameos & Ezra, it was still fun & Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman was worth the watch

Yeah. I hate that one too
Some people just want to watch the world burn 😂
Yea that one with that guy me too!!
I actually really like Spider-Man 3, Hook and National Treasure.
When they listed #10, they forgot to include “Emo Parker” and his cringeworthy dance. UGH!!
Of all the Transformers movies I watched, I think Revenge of the Fallen didn’t deserve to be hated. After 15 years after it came out, critics just didn’t understand what the Transformers really is because critics were just too fickle.
I seem to recall that 47 Ronin was basically trashed upon release but I rather enjoyed it.
Kind of a niche movie. If you like those types of movies, it was pretty good. Very targeted audience movie.
I love SPIDER-MAN 3, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME, THE MAJESTIC, and NATIONAL TREASURE. However, I have a hard time rewatching Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s SPIDER-MAN movies these days because of NO WAY HOME in the MCU. In another universe, Sony never cancelled Tobey Maguire’s SPIDER-MAN 4 and he never joined the MCU.
The Majestic was awesome! Carrey really shines in dramatic roles (Truman Show)
Boondock Saints is priceless! I heard they're working on a third one I hope it's true.
Love that movie but if they are making a sequel lets hope it's nothing like the second one. So bad.
The screenplay that would be Waterworld should have been adapted into a Mad Max film. I for one think Dennis Hopper would have made a great Mad Max villain (taking a place alongside Hugh Keays-Byrne, Kjell Nilsson and Tina Turner).
I simply see too many similarities between Waterworld and the Mad Max films. Anyone else see the same?
Holy shit; a Watchmojo movie list where I agree with every one mentioned. It's a Christmas miracle.
Maybe not the Christmas part.
same here, this is their best list, one of the rare objective, reasonable lists!
Love National Treasure at release, still love it now.
Hook was hated? I thought it was really liked or loved. A beloved classic but you guys have been wrong before
Don't trust Critics. "Those who can't do, criticize".
No, boondock saints is amazing! I love the movies.
Who hates the Boondock Saints? It is and always have been a glorious movie.
I kinda do
"What Dreams May Come" was extremely sad but such a great story and film, especially with Robin Williams brilliant acting.
My husband and I found "The Village" to be a decent film, the concept was pretty cool and unusual, it wasn't bad.
Dustin Hoffman was bloody amazing as Hook. He stole the show from Robin Williams in my opinion.
*The Majestic* is one of my favorite movies. *What Dreams May Come* is another one I count among my personal collection. *Spider-Man 3* is a meme worth rewatching. *The Godfather III CODA Version* is a slow burning outro for the trilogy yet enjoyable enough.
Venom portrayal in Spiderman 3 was spot on though it certainly could have shown it in a better way, Tobey Maguire phones in his performance in this film I thought. The Marvel animated series in the 90's showed venom coming back from space attached to a rocket and eventually attaching itself to spider man making them as being one person before spiderman rejected it leading venom to find Eddie Brock instead and become it's own stand alone villain.
Don't know if this counts as an option, but remember when people said the MCU should've ended after Endgame? Even though we've got Wakanda Forever, GOTG 3, and Spider-Man NWH
Wakanda Forever 😂😂😂
They had their moments but I could've lived without all of them, endgame was just that.
@aaronhepler8070 yeah that movie sucked balls
Obviously, Sofia Coppola was dreadful in Godfather 3. But I'm not sure the absence of Robert Duvall wasn't a bigger problem.
The biggest problem was that it simply isn't in the same galaxy as its two predecessors.
Still, I'll always wonder what could have been.
Waterworld is a terrific action spectacle that’s blissfully free of CGI with lavish, expensive sets (admittedly ones that sunk!) some superb action and Dennis Hopper hamming it up on bad guy duties. Yes, Costner delivers his usual amiable if underwhelming persona but it’s still a immensely watchable action film that’s actually superior to a lot of modern turgid tripe plus it’s even better in its Ulysses Cut that, whilst 3 hours long, makes for a more rounded experience and, in retrospect, is no longer than numerous overbloated overlong modern blockbusters. Like Prince of Thieves before it it’s a big bucks, old school popcorn blast from director Kevin Reynolds that, whilst certainly flawed, can still hold its own against similar modern fare …
… What Dreams May Come, meanwhile, is a heartbreakingly bittersweet eulogy to the late great Robin Williams with themes that resonate all the deeper in light of his tragic passing. Sure, it’s guilty of piling on the schmaltz and saccharine but the visuals remain stunning and its depiction of Heaven and Hell are often jaw dropping, Michael Kamen provides a truly beautiful score whilst Williams and Sciorra provide a true beating heart and inner beauty to the film. A definite cult gem and a film that deserves a great deal more love, respect and admiration than it initially got upon release.
I think many people forget that the hate over Waterworld was not focused on the actual film. The hate was actually about the ridiculous budget issues (including rebuilding that huge floating city set) and Costners lavish and decadent spending and diva-like behavior. I remember them talking about how Costner needed 3 suites in the lavish hotel each running about 1000$ a night (a lot more then compared to today's dollar). That was a huge part of the criticism of this film, wasteful decadence during production. I remember thinking "Its still only 7.50 for a ticket, right? What do I care what they spent on it"?
I think Bicentennial Man should be on this list, too. It's a heartfelt, wonderful movie.
The Star Wars prequels would be a great example for this list
Just because the sequels were worse doesnt suddenly make the Prequels good. Phantom Menace is only slightly more entertaining than the Star Wars Holiday Special. They get a little better after Phantom but god what a turd that was (pod racing was cool)
Waterworld. "Let's take Mad Max and instead of desert, we'll have it set on water!
What could go wrong?
Water World could've been waaaay better. But the aesthetics were pretty perfect.
Vanilla Sky has one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. There are Cameron Crowe touches everywhere!
If you’re going to pick The Godfather III as number one, try to remember that the Coda cut from 2020 is the more preferred and superior cut. Much richer and more satisfying.

Spiderman 3 is not perfect, but I love it
Boondock Saints is one of the greatest series of all time ❤❤❤❤
